"Ohhhh, ohhhhh!"
Watching Gin and Rangiku suddenly separate from one person into two, the 1st Division guard was stunned.
'What kind of power was this? Two people could fuse?'
'And why was the 3rd Division's Captain fusing with the 10th Division's Lieutenant?'
'Was this a breakdown of human morality or a depravity of ethics?'
The guard didn't know, but he did know he should get out of the way now, or things might get awkward.
"Captain Ichimaru, please enter!" The guard opened the gate.
"Let's go, Rangiku!" Gin entered the 1st Division with Rangiku.
After a short walk, they arrived at the 1st Division's Captain's office.
Inside, Yamamoto, who had been practicing calligraphy, looked up, surprised to see Gin and Rangiku arriving together.
"Captain Ichimaru, your arrival this time..."
Yamamoto asked curiously.
Facing the Captain-Commander, Gin was straightforward.
He went straight to the point: "Captain-Commander, I'm here to discuss the matter of the individual in the Living World!"
"Oh!" Yamamoto's gaze sharpened.
"And what advice does Captain Ichimaru have?" Yamamoto asked.
"Advice is hardly the word!" Gin shook his head: "Just a few small suggestions!"
"It's like this, Captain-Commander. I just met with him."
Gin began to recount his interaction with Sora.
As he spoke, Yamamoto's gaze was intense.
But after a while, he fell silent.
"Is that so... that's what he thinks. Your suggestion is very valuable, Ichimaru."
"If he wishes to come, then let him come!" Yamamoto gave his answer.
"Yes, Captain-Commander!" Hearing Yamamoto's words, Gin was pleased.
This meant he had completed Sora's task!
Then, bidding farewell to Yamamoto, Gin departed.
Soon after, his message reached Sora.
"Already handled? Good, my investment wasn't wasted!"
"Let's go!" Standing up, Sora, accompanied by Unohana, headed towards the Soul Society.
Meanwhile, in the Soul Society, the Captains, summoned by Yamamoto, were already assembled and waiting!
However, Yamamoto hadn't explained the reason for this gathering.
"What's going on, Jushiro?" Kyoraku looked at his friend.
"I don't know either!" Ukitake shook his head.
Ukitake then looked at Sui-Feng: "Captain Sui-Feng, do you know?"
"I don't know either, Captain Ukitake!" Sui-Feng shook her head.
In truth, she was also confused by this summons.
Weren't they supposed to go to the Living World soon? She had been preparing her squad for that.
Yet here they were, suddenly assembled!
It looked like they were waiting for someone!
Observing everyone, Aizen, who had come despite his injuries, had a guess about the situation.
Gin had slipped out of his control… there was only one reason: someone else was backing him.
And who else could it be but Sora?
So, looking at the group, Aizen spoke: "Perhaps we are waiting for some distinguished guest!"
"Distinguished guest!!?" The Captains' eyes flickered.
"How distinguished?" they wondered.
Hearing this, Gin smiled: "Heh, beyond measure!"
"What do you mean!!?" Toshiro asked seriously.
He didn't know why, but Gin seemed different lately… less aggressive, less suspicious.
But just as he drew everyone's attention, Gin fell silent!
"Bastard!" Komamura spat, annoyed by Gin's attitude.
Seeing this, Tosen patted Komamura's arm, signaling him to calm down.
Tosen now knew Gin had 'betrayed' them. However, there was a contradiction: Gin had killed his personal enemy (Tsunayashiro Tokinada).
So, Tosen wasn't sure how to face Gin anymore.
But that was fine, he could just ignore him.
With Komamura quiet, silence fell again.
Time passed.
Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap!
The crisp sound of footsteps and a cane striking the floor echoed.
The supreme commander of the Soul Society, Captain-Commander Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni, had arrived!
"Captain-Commander!"
All the Captains, even Aizen, bowed their heads respectfully.
Yamamoto surveyed them briefly, then spoke.
"Open the gates!"
"Yes, open the gates!"
