Clouds drifted lazily through the sky, and everything was as peaceful as ever.
Mr. Popo was calmly watering the flowers, his movements slow and meticulous.
Krillin, Tien Shinhan, and the others stood nearby, their expressions unusually serious as they sensed two powerful auras faintly leaking from the direction of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
Both auras felt familiar.
Yet strangely alien at the same time.
Suddenly—
Space itself distorted.
A figure appeared on the white marble floor of the temple without any warning.
It was Loren.
As if discarding two bags of garbage, he casually tossed two blood-soaked, unconscious figures onto the ground.
Thud.
Thud.
They rolled to a stop.
Vegeta.
Trunks.
"Hiss—!"
Krillin sucked in a sharp breath, his eyes nearly bulging out of their sockets.
"Ve… Vegeta?!"
"What… what the hell happened?!"
Piccolo's green face immediately darkened.
Hadn't Vegeta left earlier, full of confidence, to get revenge on the Androids?
Not long ago, they had even sensed Vegeta's terrifying aura erupting.
And yet—
That same Vegeta was now lying on the ground like a dead dog, thrown back without a shred of dignity.
Loren clapped his hands together, dusting them off, his expression completely calm.
"Oh, it's nothing."
"This guy just came out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Maybe his brain hasn't recovered from training yet."
"He was yelling at me nonstop."
"So I figured he was too noisy…"
"And I just taught him a little lesson."
Loren spoke casually.
As if he were talking about scolding a child.
But to the Z Warriors—
Those words hit like a bolt of lightning.
Just… taught him a lesson?
That was Vegeta.
The Vegeta who had surpassed Super Saiyan.
And you're calling this "teaching a lesson"?
The silence that followed was so heavy it felt suffocating.
Krillin swallowed hard.
The world suddenly felt very unreal.
