Chapter 55 - 54

"Here they come, all you Daniel Wus and Yifeis!"

"Brain Sacrifice Array!"

"1/3, three chapters for today for now. Please urge me for more updates, if I have time later, I can add another chapter."

Tel-Rol looked down at Ultron, which was clutching him tightly.

Two red lights flickered in the head, which had been stomped flat like a metal pancake.

"Tel-Rol."

"You think it's over? This is just the beginning of your nightmare!"

Tel-Rol looked at it expressionlessly, without even twitching an eyebrow.

He just uttered a single syllable very softly.

"Oh?"

The next second.

He raised his hand and, like picking fruit, easily grabbed the arms and legs of the wreckage that were wrapped around him.

"Crack—!"

"Bang—!"

A piercing sound of metal breaking rang out.

Ultron's vibranium limbs were twisted off in Tel-Rol's hand like a pretzel, then casually tossed aside.

The mangled body, having lost all its support points, fell to the ground.

In its ruined head, the red lights flickered violently, as if it still wanted to say something.

Tel-Rol was no longer interested in listening.

He extended his index finger, and a small point of white energy light gathered at its tip.

"Too much nonsense."

That point of light sliced through the air, piercing through the chest of Ultron's remains.

"Pfft!"

A soft sound.

The energy core in its chest was instantly penetrated.

The last two red lights in its head struggled to flicker twice, then completely dimmed.

Tel-Rol didn't even spare it another glance.

He looked up, his gaze fixed on the very center of the city.

Something was about to emerge there.

"Whoosh..."

The ruins not far away stirred, and a figure somewhat awkwardly crawled out from within.

Kara brushed the dust off her battle suit, then leaped, landing steadily beside Tel-Rol.

She looked at the faintly yellowish, still pulsating aura around Tel-Rol, then looked up at the dark clouds gathering in the sky because of him.

Her feelings were a bit complex.

This guy had gotten stronger again.

And, was it a rage for a beauty?

Thinking of this, Kara suddenly felt a little uncomfortable.

Tel-Rol turned to look at her, his previous anger had subsided, but his face also lacked its usual playful smirk.

"Go recover."

His tone was very calm.

"Later, there will likely be a fierce battle."

Kara followed his gaze, also looking towards the city center, and nodded.

Without a word, she bent her legs slightly, and her entire being shot into the sky like a cannonball.

A blue and red streak of light flew straight into the high altitude, quickly disappearing above the clouds to fully absorb the sun's energy.

Tel-Rol's figure flickered, appearing beside Tony Stark.

"Holy crap!"

Tony was concentrating on analyzing data, startled by the sudden appearance of the figure, almost jumping out of his skin.

"Can't you make some noise when you walk? Trying to scare your old man to death so you can inherit my armor?"

Tel-Rol completely ignored his trash talk.

He spoke directly.

"I don't understand high-tech stuff."

"But, can you think of a way to keep that tin can from escaping through the network again?"

"Otherwise, it's annoying, like an unkillable cockroach."

Tony paused.

He looked at Tel-Rol's serious face, seeing the intention to "solve the problem" on this battle maniac's face, rather than simply "enjoy the battle."

He put away his joking expression and nodded solemnly.

"Leave it to me."

"I'll completely lock it in this city, turning it into a single-player game!"

Tony immediately called f.r.i.d.a.y..

"f.r.i.d.a.y.! Block all network signals in all of Sokovia for me! Establish an independent internal network!"

"Understood, sir."

Just then, Steve's voice rang out on everyone's communication channel.

"All civilians evacuated!"

"Repeat, all civilians have been safely evacuated!"

All the Avengers' movements paused.

No more worries.

They could fight without restraint!

And at this very moment.

"Buzz buzz buzz—"

A low rumble came from the city center.

Tel-Rol and everyone else looked in that direction.

They saw, on the largest church ruins in the city center, one flashing red metallic figure after another slowly rising from underground.

One.

Ten.

One hundred.

Dense, like steel crops growing from the ground.

In just a few tens of seconds, thousands of identical Ultron robots filled the entire central plaza.

They stood in perfect formation, their red electronic eyes forming a continuous expanse, creating a desperate red ocean.

But that wasn't all!

"Rumble... Rumble..."

The earth shook again.

Behind those thousands of Ultron robots, seven or eight giant dark figures burst out of the ground!

They were giant Ultrons, dozens of meters tall!

Their bodies were comparable to small buildings; just standing there, they cast huge shadows, full of oppressive presence.

Thousands of regular Ultrons, plus eight giant Ultrons.

This was Ultron's trump card.

This was the desperate army it had prepared for the Avengers.

Standing at the very front, an Ultron with a more streamlined body and shinier metal casing than the other robots slowly raised its head.

Its voice, transmitted through the loudspeakers of every robot, echoed throughout Sokovia.

"Welcome to my world."

"Human struggles are meaningless, and so are your guardians."

"Now, witness your doomsday."

As its words fell, thousands of Ultrons and eight giant Ultrons, their eyes blazing red!

"Roar—!!!"

They let out a unified mechanical roar, like a torrent of steel, charging towards the Avengers' position!

The entire floating city trembled under the impact of this steel torrent, the ground shaking.

"Oh my god..."

Clint looked at the overwhelming army of robots charging towards them, unable to help but swallow.

"How long will we have to kill them?"

Tony's voice rang out in the channel, with a hint of madness.

"Network locked down! It can't escape! Guys, get ready for an all-out rampage!"

Thor laughed, spinning Mjolnir in his hand, electricity crackling.

Hulk pounded his chest, letting out an earth-shattering roar.

Steve raised his shield, standing at the very front.

"Everyone! Hold the line!"

Tel-Rol watched the metal wave charging towards him, unmoving.

He just slowly stretched his neck, making "crack crack" sounds.

The gloomy, unapproachable aura on his face from before was completely gone.

The corners of his mouth spread into a grin, revealing his white teeth.

"A thousand?"

"Only a thousand, huh..."

He stuck out his tongue, licking his lips, the aura around him flickering even more violently.

"Not even enough for a warm-up."

Before his words finished, he had already vanished from his spot.

The next second, he appeared directly at the very front of that steel torrent!

He plunged right in.
