Marineford, Fleet Admiral's office.
Tsuru entered quietly, her expression grave.
"Have you found anything?" she asked.
Sengoku set down his quill behind the desk, eyes lifting to meet hers.
"No, but it's clear Whitebeard has been engaged in a battle."
Tsuru shook her head and handed over the intelligence report.
"The entire Whitebeard Sea has been affected. This battle is far from ordinary."
Sengoku scanned the documents carefully. Tsuru's voice carried a weight of unease. Previously, reports indicated abnormal activity in the Whitebeard Sea within the New World—frequent natural disasters, suspected to be the result of a massive confrontation.
Whitebeard at his peak could indeed trigger such devastation. But to cause earthquakes and tsunamis in his own territory without reason? Only one conclusion remained: Whitebeard was fighting a formidable opponent.
Yet, despite investigations, nothing concrete had been discovered. Not only the Marines, but the Red-Haired Pirates and the Revolutionary Army were also monitoring the area. The seas had grown tense with anticipation, everyone waiting for the war that could erupt between the Marines and the Revolutionary Army in the coming days.
Now, these massive disturbances in Whitebeard's waters were far from good news. After all, Fire Fist Ace was Sabo's brother.
As days passed, the atmosphere grew increasingly oppressive. The Marines mobilized massive forces, no effort spared, displaying overwhelming strength.
Morning came, and Marineford glowed under the rising sun. On this day, the entire world's attention was fixed on the stronghold. People everywhere watched live broadcasts, gathering before screens to witness the events unfolding.
Marineford teemed with soldiers, their numbers vast beyond imagination. Pacifista units exceeded ten thousand, deployed across the battlefield. The sheer scale of the military presence was enough to inspire terror. The battlefield itself radiated a chilling aura.
"The Marines are determined to crush the Revolutionary Army."
"I wonder if the Revolutionary Army will appear."
"Come or not, death is inevitable."
Within Marineford, rows of Marines stood in disciplined formation. Over a hundred Vice Admirals, cloaked in justice, maintained solemn expressions as they oversaw their troops.
"Marineford Vice Admiral Onigumo."
"Yamakaji."
"Bastille."
"Doberman."
"Hiss… all Marineford Vice Admirals. That's quite a gathering."
As observers murmured, several figures slowly descended the steps of the execution platform.
"The world's greatest swordsman, Dracule Mihawk."
"The world's most beautiful woman, Empress Boa Hancock."
"Tyrant Bartholomew Kuma."
"Heavenly Yaksha Donquixote Doflamingo."
"Gekko Moriah."
"The Shichibukai… the Marines truly summoned all Seven Warlords of the Sea."
"But where are Jinbe the Sea Knight and Marshall D. Teach, Blackbeard?"
The camera shifted, focusing on four empty seats near the execution platform. A hush fell over the spectators.
"They're coming."
Soon, a man in a silver-white suit and a cloak of justice slowly seated himself.
"Marine's strongest Admiral, Silver Dragon Enel."
Next, Akainu Sakazuki appeared, dressed in burgundy with the Admiral's cloak and cap, expression unreadable.
Kizaru Borsalino followed, in a yellow-white striped suit and sunglasses, legs crossed.
Finally, Aokiji Kuzan took the fourth seat, calm yet imposing.
The appearance of the Four Admirals was enough to make the entire world pause.
Slow footsteps echoed across the execution platform. Buddha Sengoku, Fleet Admiral, appeared. His presence signaled the execution was about to commence.
"Bring the prisoner."
His voice, crisp and decisive, carried far and wide, commanding attention.
"Clang…" Chains rattled sharply as two executioners escorted a gaunt Sabo onto the platform. A hush fell; every eye fixed on the scene.
"Sabo, Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army, subordinate to Monkey D. Dragon, leader of the largest rebel organization, the Revolutionary Army…"
Sengoku spoke, enumerating the Revolutionary Army's alleged crimes with a sharp, accusatory tone, each word broadcast across the globe.
Just as his speech reached its peak, the once-clear sky darkened suddenly.
"Crack…"
Lightning struck the distant sea. Towering tornadoes, over a dozen in number, churned waves like the apocalypse, surging toward Marineford. The skies seemed to pour down upon the stronghold. Witnesses inside and outside the fortress stared in horror.
"Boom… Boom…"
The seas overturned with the force of ten thousand galloping horses. Humanity appeared insignificant before such natural power.
"Get ready, the world's most evil man has arrived."
Sengoku exhaled in relief, fearing the Revolutionary Army might not show. But the world outside was already stupefied. Videos displayed monstrous waves rising into the clouds, devouring islands. Only the Red Line could resist this force.
"Whoosh…"
Aokiji disappeared from his seat, reappearing along the coastline. He extended his hands, freezing the turbulent sea at remarkable speed.
"Ice Age."
"Crack… Crack…"
The spinning water tornadoes solidified into towering ice sculptures. Bone-chilling cold radiated, freezing the sea itself. Aokiji's half-frozen body remained calm, his expression even more solemn.
"Is this a Marine Admiral? Incredible… even the sea can be frozen."
Above the ice sea, natural lightning struck, stabilizing the chaotic clouds over Marineford. In a moment, a dense, formidable army appeared in full view.
"The Revolutionary Army."
Every Marine recoiled. None had expected the Revolutionaries to arrive from the sky.
Monkey D. Dragon led them, his dark green cloak flowing. A red square tattoo marked his face, his expression fierce despite his lack of eyebrows. His commanding Haki radiated, filling the battlefield with oppressive authority.
"Is this the leader of the Revolutionary Army?"
"Yes. Monkey D. Dragon, head of the world's largest villainous organization, the Revolutionary Army, the most evil man alive."
Pirates and Marines alike observed cautiously. Though the Revolutionary Army rarely interfered in pirate affairs, their reputation rivaled the Four Emperors, shrouded in mystery and overwhelming power.
Beside Dragon, Koala's eyes were fixed on Sabo.
"Sabo, wait for me. I will definitely save you."
Other Revolutionary commanders revealed themselves: Ivankov, the Okama King; Belo Betty, Commander of the East Army; Mori, Commander of the West Army; Lindbergh, Commander of the South Army; Karasu, Commander of the North Army. Several figures in black robes moved silently behind them.
Dragon's eyes narrowed as he took in the Marines: Enel, Akainu, Kizaru, Aokiji, and Garp, standing below the platform. His gaze ultimately settled on Sengoku.
