Chapter 312 - 312: A Roll of Ruin and Opportunity

The dice bounced across the floor, then the dazzling white light faded.

Lucien began to roll the ordinary luck value dice.

"One bottle of Super Enhanced Version Perverted Spicy Laxative, and one bottle of antidote."

"Description: A medication that increases intestinal water, promotes peristalsis, softens stool, or lubricates the intestines to facilitate bowel movements. It is primarily used for functional constipation and is classified into volumetric, stimulant, lubricating, osmotic, and bulk types.

This laxative is colorless and odorless. Just one drop can cause a fiery, stinging pain in the chrysanthemum and drain the body of all its strength.

Special Note: This perverted spicy laxative is an enhanced version, even a super enhanced version. Even demons and monsters can be driven to death by diarrhea, so please use with caution."

Lucien stared at the bottle and could not help recalling certain shameful memories from years ago. He had not expected to draw this item again, let alone an upgraded version. A Super Enhanced Version that could even make demons die from diarrhea.

Using it for a sneak attack would be utterly despicable.

He liked it very much.

The first ordinary luck value draw did not disappoint him. If used cleverly, this item was no worse than Armament Haki plus one or Any Breath obtained from a VIP draw.

"Tsar Bomba."

"Description: Also known as Da Ivan, it is 3,864 times more powerful than the Little Boy atomic bomb. It is the most powerful bomb ever detonated by humans in terms of volume, weight, and destructive power.

Note: Pressing the button initiates a ten second countdown. Please use with caution."

Lucien's amethyst eyes gleamed with excitement. This was a true weapon of mass destruction.

Although the last time he used it the result had not been exactly what he wanted, he had personally witnessed its overwhelming power. Even now, if he were caught at close range, he would not be able to withstand it.

For reasons unknown, Lucien drew Da Ivan again for the third, fourth, and fifth rolls. Instead of feeling cheated, he grinned like a madman.

In future battles, he would simply drop a Da Ivan first. If that did not kill the enemy, he would launch a second, third, and fourth. He would let them fully experience the love of a mushroom cloud.

This was art.

"I hope the next one is still Da Ivan."

Lucien rubbed his hands together, sincerely praying.

Unfortunately, fate rarely granted his wishes. The more he desired something, the less likely it was to appear.

The sixth ordinary luck value draw.

"X ray Glasses."

"Description: Can see through all physical obstacles, can freely change shape and appearance, impervious to water and fire, equipped with automatic repair and one click outfit change functions."

Lucien examined the glasses in his hand and felt slightly dissatisfied.

Once placed on his nose, they transformed at his thought into sunglasses, rimless glasses, dark shades, novelty frames, even contact lenses. Any style he imagined appeared instantly.

He looked outward. The castle walls became transparent and hazy, the scenery outside vivid and clear.

His gaze shifted toward Hancock's room. The walls faded from sight. Clothes became transparent. Everything was visible, even skin, flesh, blood vessels, bones, and cells could be seen if he wished.

If this item were given to an ordinary person, they could easily become wealthy by locating mineral deposits. At first glance it seemed trivial, but its value depended entirely on how it was used.

Some might think only of peeping, mining, or gambling. But in the hands of a doctor, its worth would be immeasurable.

The glasses vanished and reappeared at his command. When snapped in half, they repaired themselves instantly. Waterproof, fireproof, capable of transforming outfits and self repairing, Lucien toyed with them for a while before rolling the dice again.

The seventh roll.

"One Teleportation Talisman."

"Description: Instantly transports the user to a random location within one hundred thousand meters."

Lucien held the talisman covered in strange markings. It resembled something from an old horror film. Like Da Ivan, it was a one time use item. Clearly designed for escape, its value rivaled a VIP luck draw.

It was not an exaggeration to call it a second life. In his eyes, it was as precious as a Senzu Bean, a one time damage transfer, or Soul Devour.

The same item held different value to different people. For Lucien, anything that ensured his survival was priceless.

Nothing mattered more than his life.

Drawing it from an ordinary luck value felt like striking gold.

After using two VIP luck values and several ordinary ones, it was time to calculate the remaining draws.

The Straw Hat Pirates and Sabo had provided him with twenty nine dice rolls. He had used seven ordinary luck values and two VIP luck values, leaving exactly twenty.

Before that, he had saved five additional rolls. Now he possessed a total of twenty five dice rolls.

He could synthesize two more ordinary luck values.

Sweet.

The model plane flew past, and the white light faded.

"One Da Ivan."

Even sweeter.

Only one final chance remained.

"Wolf Tooth Club."

"Description: A spiked club with sharp fangs. It can change size, is incredibly hard, and possesses automatic repair and one click outfit change functions."

This reward disappointed him slightly. Weapons meant little to Lucien. With his advanced Armament Haki, any strand of hair or fallen leaf could become a deadly weapon at his will.

Another Da Ivan would have been far more satisfying.

Still, he could not deny the overall result. This round had been extravagant.

The two VIP draws were Any Breath and Armament Haki plus one.

The nine ordinary draws included one bottle of Super Enhanced Version Perverted Spicy Laxative, one bottle of antidote, five Da Ivans, one Teleportation Talisman, one pair of X ray Glasses, and one Wolf Tooth Club.

A tremendous harvest.

More than ten minutes later, Lucien appeared in the backyard and began testing Any Breath.

He inhaled deeply underwater as naturally as on land. When buried beneath soil, he felt no suffocation. Lifting his gaze toward the sky, he considered traveling into space to test his limits.

"Master."

Caesar emerged from a mirror behind him and stepped into the yard, confusion evident in his eyes.

He had been researching bombs when Lucien summoned him. Thanks to the power of the Mirror Mirror Fruit, the forces under Lucien's control, including the Whitebeard Pirates, the Beasts Pirates, and the Revolutionary Army, were connected through mirror space. It ensured secrecy and drastically shortened travel distances.

An invisible network now linked them all.

"How long will it take you to replicate this?"

Lucien wasted no time. A Da Ivan materialized in midair and slammed into the ground with a heavy thud.

Caesar stared at the massive warhead, excitement flickering across his face.

"Master, is this…"

"A bomb," Lucien replied calmly. "Its power is enough to erase a small island and shatter a medium sized one. I want you to study it immediately and mass produce it as soon as possible."

"Any problems?"

"No problem, but…"

Caesar circled the bomb, rubbing his hands nervously.

"But what?"

"Can I have another one?"

Lucien answered with action. With a casual wave, a second Da Ivan crashed to the ground.

"Master, just wait for my good news."

Minutes later, Caesar left through the mirror with more than ten subordinates, taking both Da Ivans with him, brimming with excitement.

If he could fully understand Da Ivan and replicate it, he would become its creator in this world. The entire pirate era would tremble beneath its destructive power.

There was no game more thrilling than dropping Da Ivans from the sky.
