"Successfully hunted down the Transmigrator Vince, also known as Silver Dragon Enel, rewarding 4 Dice rolls and VIP Luck +1."
Lucien pulled open the light screen, and the information displayed did not disappoint him in the slightest.
The only thing that irritated Lucien was Imu. Despite being such a major existence, she had only rewarded three Dice rolls. He had genuinely believed Imu was a fated villain.
What a letdown.
As for Emma and Ethan, they had naturally been offered to Law Following Speech and the Dying Ability. That made Silver Dragon the most valuable harvest of them all. VIP Luck was king, above everything else.
Lucien sat casually on a jagged rock, a cigarette between his fingers as smoke drifted upward. He calmly began settling accounts. On both sides of him stood Whitebeard and the others, silent and unmoving.
At their feet lay Sengoku, Tsuru, CP0 agents, Celestial Dragons, Army Admirals, and countless other captives.
Every single one of them was waiting for Lucien's judgment.
"Whoosh…"
Lucien did not hesitate.
Eight black thorns burst from his tailbone, piercing forward and devouring flesh and soul alike in a grotesque display.
"You all go in first. The Whitebeard Pirates stay."
Lucien pointed at the book beside him, his gaze sweeping over the Beasts Pirates, the Blackbeard Pirates, and the Revolutionary Army.
Now was the time to harvest.
The World Government's forces had already been wiped out, and all their top-tier powerhouses had given Lucien their maximum value.
And then, there were the Red Hair Pirates.
Once everyone entered the book, Mondor snapped it shut and stood beside Lucien, expressionless as he looked at the remaining Whitebeard Pirates.
"Is it our turn now?" Whitebeard asked.
His coat fluttered behind him as he stared directly at Lucien, his expression calm and resolute.
Lucien said nothing.
Eight black thorns shot forward, piercing straight through the hearts of Whitebeard, Marco, Jozu, Vista, and the others.
None of them struggled.
Not because they did not want to resist, and not because they did not want to escape.
Their bodies simply no longer belonged to them.
If Whitebeard had been stronger than Lucien, he could have resisted. He might have even turned the tables.
But Lucien's current strength eclipsed his completely.
Minutes later, the core members of the Whitebeard Pirates crumbled into dust, leaving only their clothes scattered across the ground.
Lucien raised his hand, capturing every soul before opening his mouth and devouring them whole.
"Bring out the Beasts Pirates."
Lucien casually waved his hand. A violent gust tore across the battlefield, peeling the ground clean and scattering the discarded clothing.
"Yes."
Mondor submerged his consciousness into the book, then opened it once more.
Kaido appeared, followed by the Three Disasters, the Headliners, and the remaining elites of the Beasts Pirates.
Lucien did not waste words.
The thorns struck like ravenous demon vines, piercing flesh and drinking deeply.
"Master!"
Yamato stared at Lucien in disbelief, her beautiful face filled with shock and confusion. She could not understand why he was doing this.
She had given him everything.
Even her feelings.
Bang.
Lucien flicked his hand.
The air detonated violently, forming a devastating shockwave. Kaido and the rest were reduced to ashes in an instant, their forms erased without mercy.
Lucien reached out once more, seized their souls, and shoved them into his mouth.
"Blackbeard Pirates."
"Revolutionary Army."
One by one, Lucien devoured them all.
Golden Lion.
Redfield.
Bullet.
The Golden Emperor.
Former Shichibukai.
Kuma.
Hancock.
None were spared.
Finally, it was the Big Mom Pirates' turn.
Katakuri and the others walked forward calmly. They had long anticipated this ending.
Even Mondor and Shirahoshi were not exempt from Lucien's cruelty.
In the vast, bottomless abyss canyon, only Lucien, Law, and Mansherry remained standing.
Lucien lit another cigarette and reopened the light screen. Dense streams of information flooded his vision, forcing his amethyst eyes to narrow.
At first, satisfaction filled him.
Then his expression darkened.
The Whitebeard Pirates had only provided four Dice rolls.
Whitebeard, Marco, Jozu, and Vista were merely classified as minor supporting characters. The remaining commanders did not even qualify.
What kind of joke was this?
The Beasts Pirates also gave four Dice rolls, Kaido, King, Queen, and Jack.
The Big Mom Pirates only gave three, Katakuri, Cracker, and Smoothie. Daifuku, Oven, and Perospero were not even considered minor supporting characters.
The Red Hair Pirates gave four, Red Hair, Beckman, Lucky Roux, and Yasopp.
The Blackbeard Pirates were the biggest surprise. Every member counted as a minor villain, totaling nine Dice rolls, excluding Blackbeard himself.
Blackbeard alone was considered a major villain and rewarded three Dice rolls. Yet he was not classified as a fated villain.
Unbelievable.
Then came Magellan, former Shichibukai like Crocodile, Doflamingo, Moriah, Jinbe, Buggy, Kuma, Mihawk, and Hancock.
Hancock was an exception, rewarding three Dice rolls, bringing the total to eleven.
Old legends such as Golden Lion, Redfield, Rayleigh, Zephyr, and Bullet contributed seven.
The World Government was especially generous.
Five from the Gorosei.
Four from the Army Admirals.
One from Kong.
Six from Sengoku, Akainu, Aokiji, Kizaru, Garp, and Tsuru.
Even famous Vice Admirals like Onigumo did not make the cut.
Dragon and the Revolutionary Army contributed five.
That was the full harvest.
Lucien had no idea how this useless Golden Finger calculated value. Asking questions would only lead to silence.
Some characters had massive screen time, yet were not even recognized as minor supporting characters.
Still, after absorbing so many bodies and souls, Lucien could feel it.
He needed seclusion.
This single, world-shattering battle had yielded seventy Dice rolls, plus one VIP Luck. Adding the five remaining from before brought the total to seventy-five.
A truly obscene harvest.
As expected, the spoils of the Pirate King were unmatched.
The Dice jumped.
The model airplane rumbled forward three squares.
A blinding white light flashed as Lucien immediately activated VIP Luck.
"Position Swap +1."
"Description: Ignores time, ignores space, ignores all restrictions. Allows instant position exchange with a designated target."
At first glance, it looked useless.
At second glance, it seemed passable.
By the third, fourth, and fifth glance, Lucien's interest was fully captured.
This was an extremely powerful one-time consumable.
It might not compare to Soul Devour or Damage Transfer, but it was far from trash.
Used at a critical moment, it could save a life or completely reverse a battle.
One VIP Luck.
Worth it.
Just imagine unleashing a finishing move, only for positions to swap at the last instant.
Ignoring time.
Ignoring space.
Ignoring all restrictions.
An absolute exchange.
This ability was far more terrifying than it appeared.
Still, Lucien could not help feeling slightly envious.
Soul Devour.
Damage Transfer.
Fifty percent Luck Increase.
Those were truly broken.
Next, seventy-four Dice rolls could be condensed into seven standard Luck Dice, with four chances remaining.
Lucien hoped for items like Senzu Beans or war background music, since those had originally come from standard Luck rolls.
As the Golden Finger upgraded, standard Luck felt cheaper and cheaper, like a rigged gacha game that kept inventing new tiers.
VIP.
SVIP.
Advanced access.
Disgusting.
Still, items like Senzu Beans had no business being locked behind VIP only.
That said, anything drawn from standard Luck would not be completely worthless.
The Dice spun again.
The model airplane raced across six squares.
The white light faded.
Luck had been consumed.
