Chapter 92 - Dream Summon (Bonus Chapter)

"The winner has been decided!" the commentator Ibri roared passionately. "After reversals upon reversals, Hyakinthos Clio, captain of the Hestia Familia, having successfully killed Levi Bright, captain of the Apollo Familia, is now the only one left on the field."

"Let us congratulate the Hestia Familia on winning this War Game."

No sooner had his voice fallen than the commentator's voice rang out once more.

But his words carried a hint of disbelief.

"Someone seems to be standing at the edge of the divine mirror. Hey, hey, hey, no way, does someone really dare to provoke Levi Bright at this moment? Isn't the Apollo Familia captain's fate enough of a warning?"

"Hmm?!"

"Wait!"

"'The Fierce'?! Ottar?!"

"I [DanMachi curse]!!!!!!"

It wasn't just Ibri who witnessed this scene; many in Orario had heard the words spoken by Levi.

However, before they could react, in the next instant, the divine mirror, which had originally been open to everyone, suddenly seemed to lose power and vanished from the sight of the ordinary citizens.

Only the divine mirror inside the Denatus hall remained active.

"That Freya! She really dares!" Hestia gnashed her teeth. "If she can't win the War Game, she resorts to such coercive tactics, she's practically throwing away the gods' dignity!"

Despite her words, the twin-tailed goddess's face showed little sign of tension.

This scene made the gods present feel a sense of unease.

"Hestia, aren't you worried?" Demeter, sitting in the back row, couldn't help but ask. "Your Levi is indeed formidable; his normal combat power can be considered Lv.5, and with that ornament, he can unleash power comparable to an upper Lv.6 or even a lower Lv.7. But Freya's 'The Fierce' is a genuine Lv.7, and he has been training at that stage for a long time."

Although the other gods didn't speak, their expressions were similar.

Hestia knew what her lover was about to do, and she knew even more clearly that after today, the entire situation in Orario would undergo a major change.

So she repeated what she had said when she first arrived at the Denatus hall: "Didn't I say it? My Levi is invincible!"

Beside her, the red-haired, one-eyed goddess also smiled inexplicably, in anticipation of the scene that was about to unfold.

As Orario's strongest individual in practical terms, 'The Fierce' Ottar was not really one to mince words.

Hearing Levi's question, he simply took the greatsword from his back and pointed it at the boy not far away: "Levi Bright, you are very good, but to be pursued by the Goddess and receive her grace, that is your destined future."

"Fatalism?" Levi's lips curled into a mocking smile. "We are born free; who can stand above us?"

Ottar was silent for a moment. "Perhaps the Goddess likes this very aspect of your character. To avoid destroying the brilliance in your soul, I will give you a chance to resist. If you fall by my sword, then come with me!"

With that, he even pulled out a panacea: "If you need to restore your status, I have medicine here."

Hearing 'The Fierce's' words, Levi shook his head: "I like your character, but it's a shame…"

He didn't finish the rest of his sentence. Instead, he changed the subject: "To be honest, those last two battles weren't even a warm-up."

"However, against you, I admit that even I will need to use my full strength."

The moment his voice fell, a card appeared between the fingers of Levi's raised right hand.

Its front depicted a white-haired woman holding a longbow, and upon closer inspection, a small teddy bear could be seen standing on her shoulder.

The back showed an archer wearing a hood.

Levi, his eyes fixed on Ottar, slowly opened his mouth:

"—Demi-Servant Summoning!"

The next second, though it was still daytime, a brilliant full moon suddenly appeared in the sky.

A pure white, immaculate pillar of light descended, completely enveloping the short, pale-golden-haired youth.

When the anomaly vanished and Levi emerged from the pillar of light, his full-plate armor was gone, replaced by a loose, white-based trench coat with red trim.

His right hand, which had held the card, now, at some unknown point, clutched an entirely silver-white long spear.

"Artemis's Arrow?!" Inside the Denatus hall, Takemikazuchi, as the God of War, cried out in alarm, then quickly shook his head. "No, it should only be a projection of that weapon from Tenkai."

"But that's still terrifying, isn't it?" another god sitting next to him retorted. "If I'm not mistaken, Levi Bright should have completely transformed into Artemis's [Familia Member] at this moment."

The 'Familia Member' he referred to was, of course, not the so-called adventurers who had received Falna. But rather the [Spirit] from long ago, revered as a divine avatar, capable of exercising some divine authority.

"So, Hestia, what was that card Levi Bright just used? Where did it come from? It wasn't just accidentally picked up, was it?"

Loki, too shocked, even opened her eyes at this moment.

Not only her, but every single god present, one by one, cast curious, excited, and even fervent gazes toward the twin-tailed goddess sitting in the front row.

Even Hephaestus couldn't help but nudge her good friend's arm: "Hey, hey, hey, so that card actually sealed Artemis's power? I didn't even realize it back then!"

Hestia, ever since granting Levi Falna—or more precisely, after seeing that [Unknown True Form] skill—had been rehearsing similar scenarios in her mind.

She immediately shook her head, responding nonchalantly: "It wasn't picked up, so did it just fall from the sky?"

Seeing her resolute attitude, a god immediately became displeased: "Hestia, you…"

But before he could finish, Hestia retorted: "Shall I remind you of the Apollo Familia's fate?"

Apollo, deep in sorrow over Hyakinthos's death: "…"

Other gods: "…"

It was still the same old story: no matter how bright Orario appeared on the surface, it couldn't hide its true nature of the strong preying on the weak.

If the Hestia Familia were still the obscure little Familia it was before the War Game, other gods would naturally not dare to use their authority to pressure the blue-ribboned goddess for answers.

But now, with Levi displaying strength capable of directly fighting a Spirit.

Many questions had become irrelevant.

Levi Bright certainly held secrets, but as long as the young man himself and Hestia, his patron goddess, didn't speak of them, then no one else would ever know.

"Oh my~" Demeter, sitting in the back row, rested one hand on her cheek, her words carrying a faint, almost imperceptible hint of envy. "Hestia's luck is as good as ever. She just descended to the lower world not long ago, and she's already almost cleared this Familia game."

Astrea, sitting beside her friend, nodded slightly upon hearing this.
