Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 Amon, Your Brother Is Here

They really treated him as Amon's brother, or… Rosen glanced thoughtfully at the Sun God. After the initial chaos had passed and his rationality returned, he noticed that the Sun God's attitude toward him seemed somewhat subtle, even wary.

Why? Even if the other party had truly sensed that he was an outsider, at most he was just a uniqueness turned sentient. What was there to be wary of?

Unless the transmigration had actually brought him some changes he himself hadn't noticed, but the Sun God already had?

Thinking of how he inexplicably turned from a surrounding-item into a suspected-uniqueness monocle, a hint of contemplation flashed through Rosen's eyes. Then he looked at the still-sleeping baby Amon beside him and said to the Sun God with a smile: "I'm happy to wait for my little brother to wake up, but can I know what his name is?"

"…Amon, you can call Him Amon." The Sun God paused, suddenly glanced at the space behind Rosen, and said: "Adam, please take care of your two younger brothers for now. Later I'll have Sasriel come take care of you."

Rosen froze for a moment. Only then did he notice that beside him stood a blond-haired, golden-eyed child. This child looked a bit older than him and Amon, but only slightly.

So this was the legendary Adam, who could appear out of thin air?

Rosen couldn't help but examine him curiously. He wasn't too worried that the other party would detect his inner thoughts. After all, as a Marauder uniqueness, even as a beginner relying on instinct, he knew how to avoid that from happening.

"Okay, Father, I'll take good care of my younger brothers." Although Adam looked only four or five years old, and quite possibly had been born today along with his two brothers, he already appeared very calm.

The Sun God also seemed very confident in his first son. After giving a few more instructions, He turned and left.

Rosen silently let out a breath. Being in front of the Sun God was still quite stressful.

Although Adam was also a version of the Sun God, he hadn't awakened yet. He really could be considered a true child… Rosen glanced at Adam again. When Adam looked over, Rosen immediately approached enthusiastically, beaming: "Adam, can I call you big brother?"

Rosen didn't feel embarrassed at all calling a little kid "big brother." As someone who used to be a stage actor, he had performed far more embarrassing content before.

"Of course you can, Rosen." Adam nodded. He was clearly trying hard to keep his face stiff so he could seem more mature, but limited by his hardware, the effect was instead a bit cute.

"Pff—" Rosen couldn't hold back a laugh. Before Adam could react, he turned to poke Amon's cheek, speaking with a hint of concern: "Why hasn't Amon woken up yet? Could something be wrong…"

The concern was fake, but the worry was real. Rosen genuinely didn't want his transmigration to cause any issues for Amon. Otherwise, he would end up in a "you harmed my child" situation with the Sun God.

Fortunately, as soon as he said that, the previously quiet, sleeping Amon finally opened His eyes. His pure-black pupils stared at Rosen, and the next second He reached out to grab the monocle on Rosen's face.

"That's not allowed, little brother. This is your big brother's thing." Rosen caught Amon's dirty claws while smiling.

"It's obviously you who stole my thing." Amon looked clearly aggrieved. Angels at birth weren't yet as shameless as they would be in later eras—He looked like a child whose toy had been taken.

But this child was obviously not as harmless as an ordinary child. In fact, the next second Amon tried again. He really seemed determined to take back the power he lost. Although he hadn't actually lost his uniqueness, the portion of power belonging to it wasn't with Him but in Rosen's hands. So as long as Rosen existed, Amon couldn't exert his uniqueness power.

A stubborn child's instincts refused to accept this fact.

Rosen, on the other hand, simply wanted to use this chance to practice and get familiar with his new abilities.

And so, while the two rookies fought, bird feathers flying everywhere, on the other side, the Sun God—who seemed to have left but actually hadn't—was silently observing the scene. Beside Him was the newly arrived Dark Angel Sasrir.

Sasrir withdrew his gaze from the feather-filled battlefield, eyes softening slightly, clearly moved by the scene. He looked at the Sun God and said: "Perhaps things aren't as bad as you thought. This child seems to bear no malice toward our world."

"You're only affected by your cognition and treating Him as our real child." The Sun God's voice was nearly icy. His earlier departure had partly been to summon His half-body, and partly to better observe Rosen.

"You must stay awake. We must stay awake." The Sun God glanced at Sasrir, sounding both like a warning and a reminder.

Sasrir did not refute. He simply met the gaze of his Lord, his true body, and after a moment said:

"I understand, Lord. I will keep an eye on Him."

The Sun God didn't have the energy to constantly watch Rosen. Since the Third Epoch, the will of the Primodial God Almighthy within Him had grown increasingly active, forcing the Sun God to expend more energy suppressing it.

Thus, He chose His incarnation—the Dark Angel Sasrir, Vice-King of Heaven—to fulfill this duty.

Of course, that didn't mean the Sun God would stop paying attention to Rosen.

Rosen now had his own room.

In the seventh minute of his feather-flying fight with Amon, the Dark Angel Sasrir—who had appeared at some unknown moment—pulled them apart. This handsome, slightly gloomy-tempered yet gentle incarnation of the Sun God comforted Amon and Rosen separately, then took the Sun God's three freshly born cubs to their new residence.

This was how Rosen obtained his own room. On his left was Amon's room, and on his right was Adam's.

"…Basic living supplies are all prepared. If you have any special needs, you may tell me." Sasrir said this while half-kneeling in front of Rosen, looking at the boy with a gentle tone:

"I'm sorry, I still have matters to attend to and cannot stay with you all the time, but I'll be in the study. If you need anything, you can come find me."
