The scene continued.
Kabuto used medical ninjutsu to heal his stomach wound, then slowly approached Sakura and Yamato.
He adjusted his shattered glasses.
"It appears Sasori didn't come here after all."
Sakura and Yamato stared warily.
Kabuto continued:
"I came here today… and only Sasori knew about it."
"But he didn't come. Yet you two knew."
"That means… he told you. He wanted you to learn about this meeting, hoping Konoha would kill Orochimaru for him."
The scene shifted—
A gravely wounded Sasori appeared, dying.
"Ten days from now… at noon… go to Tenchi Bridge in the Land of Grass."
"One of Orochimaru's subordinates—my spy—will meet him there."
After saying this, he died.
The image returned to Kabuto confronting Sakura and Yamato.
Kabuto sneered.
"He didn't know… that I dispelled his mind-controlling jutsu long ago."
Hidden Sand Village
Chiyo trembled violently as tears poured down her cheeks.
"Sasori…"
"My child… how did you die? Did Konoha kill you?!"
"I'll avenge—"
Then she froze.
"No… wait. This is the future."
"That means Sasori is still alive right now."
"His cloak… it's the same as Deidara's earlier…"
"So he joined Akatsuki."
She wiped her tears.
"…Looks like I need to pay him a visit."
Amegakure — Akatsuki Base
Sasori stared at the screen.
"…I die?"
"Who killed me?"
"How could I die… before killing Orochimaru?"
His puppet body's fist clenched.
He would kill Orochimaru.
And now he knew Kabuto had broken free of his control.
"So the jutsu wore off… very well. I'll eliminate him first."
Tobi skipped over cheerfully.
"Sasori-senpai, so that's what you look like! I thought you were an old wrinkly grandpa under there!"
Hidan: "Wow, Sasori! You die soooo miserably! All stabbed full of holes!"
Kakuzu sighed.
Judging from these visions…
Akatsuki members have tragic futures.
Deidara blew himself up and still failed to kill Sasuke.
Tobi got caught in the explosion.
And Sasori got impaled to death.
Even Orochimaru—once a member—gets killed by Sasuke.
Nagato thought:
"I wonder during which mission Sasori dies… If we identify it, we can prevent his death."
The scene continued.
"ROAR!!"
Naruto howled.
Red and blue chakra spheres bubbled out of his body—
Floating upward.
"That… is chakra."
Even Orochimaru finally widened his eyes in shock.
The Four-Tails cloak lifted its tail skyward, pulling all the chakra orbs together—compressing them.
A small black sphere formed.
Orochimaru's expression turned serious.
"That's… troublesome."
Buzz!
The black sphere shrank further—denser.
"If he fires that at me… I'll die," Orochimaru said calmly.
He was not shocked anymore—
only wary…
And thrilled.
Crack… crackle!
Naruto opened his mouth—
And swallowed the sphere.
Orochimaru burst into an ecstatic laugh.
"Hahaha…! With chakra that dense, his movements will be extremely sluggish!"
"How will you fight me, hmm?! Ha—"
Then Orochimaru froze mid-laugh.
Naruto's stomach GLOWED and SWELLED—
And smoke poured from his mouth.
"So he's using that technique!"
Orochimaru instantly bit his thumbs and slammed both hands down.
"Triple Rashōmon!"
Three colossal demonic gates erupted from the ground.
At the same moment—
Naruto opened his mouth.
And fired a devastating Tailed Beast Bomb.
Hidden Cloud Village
Raikage A stood up abruptly.
"That is… if I'm not mistaken—that's a Tailed Beast Bomb!"
"The kind that can erase a village!"
Because of Killer B and Gyūki, he knew this technique well.
Mabui asked nervously:
"Lord Raikage… should we pre-emptively eliminate the Nine-Tails jinchūriki?"
A shook his head.
"There will be plenty of people who try that before us."
