Sasori: "Why would Konoha hide this information? It seems pointless."
Itachi Uchiha: "Konoha's higher-ups are dirtier than you imagine."
"If they hid this, it must've been to protect certain interests of theirs."
On this point, Itachi knew all too well.

No wonder in the footage, Naruto could fight him even without opening the Nine-Tails mode.
