Chapter 102 - Chapter 102: As Long As You Save Me, I'll Do Anything!

Shirou arrived at the kidnappers' place. At once, he saw Eris lying in the dirty warehouse.

This young lady, who used to be picky and even rude, now looked very pitiful. Not only was her whole body covered in bruises, but her delicate face was also covered in blood. She looked like she had been completely tortured.

Although Shirou was somewhat prepared for this, he still sighed when he saw Eris's miserable state. After all, he wasn't against helping her, but her personality was too stubborn. Unless she suffered a bit, it was hard to imagine she would learn a lesson.

So, Shirou had made up his mind. This time, he had to make Eris suffer, truly realize her mistakes, and then save her.

This was a dirty, adult trick, and using it to torture a young child was obviously a bit too mean.

But Shirou didn't care that much anymore. To achieve his goals, he was now willing to do some mean things instead of sticking to foolish justice like he used to.

So, even after arriving at the warehouse where Eris was, he didn't immediately step forward to save her. Instead, he slowly and steadily walked up to Eris and chose a spot in the corner of the room to sit down.

"Who are you?"

With such movement, Eris naturally noticed Shirou's arrival. But because the room was dim, she couldn't see who it was. She thought it was one of the kidnappers again, and her body instinctively became scared.

Shirou didn't speak right away. He just quietly observed the room. He noticed that the room was very dirty and full of dust. There were also broken chairs and armor with holes in them casually thrown in the corners.

In such a depressing environment, even someone as arrogant as Eris should now realize her situation and the despair that came with it.

But Shirou didn't dare to gamble that Eris had really accepted reality. He especially didn't dare to gamble that Eris, who had been spoiled since childhood and fed all sorts of wrong ideas, could correct her mistakes and have the right way of thinking.

He still needed to test her to make sure this girl had really been taught by reality.

In that case, gentle words were just a meaningless waste.

To make someone like Eris realize how cruel reality was, he had to use sharper words and an even more arrogant tone.

Shirou himself couldn't do that. His personality was too gentle. He wasn't sharp enough to hit someone where it hurt. But on the other hand, Servant Emiya, who existed within him, was exactly that kind of person, able to strike people's hearts with words.

Shirou had already merged with Servant Emiya, so it was easy for him to imitate Servant Emiya's way of being. Or rather, he didn't need to imitate at all. He was Servant Emiya himself.

In an instant, Shirou shifted the personality part of himself further towards Servant Emiya's state. His expression and movements began to become as cold, proud, and sarcastic as that white-haired Servant. He even struck Servant Emiya's signature pose, crossing his legs and sitting in the chair in the abandoned room.

"You start with those words right away. Seems you really are the arrogant young lady everyone says you are."

Shirou, now with Servant Emiya's personality, said mockingly, "Oh my, seeing you like this, I really have to think about whether I should save you or not."

"You're here to save me?"

Eris didn't expect the man to say that. A look of surprise appeared on her face.

She quickly said, "No matter who you are, get me out of here now! I'll have my grandfather give you a big reward. You can have land or money!"

Eris had obviously learned something from this incident. She realized that the world didn't revolve around her, and that as the daughter of the Boreas family, she couldn't just order everyone around and go unpunished.

So she didn't order Shirou around rudely like she used to. Instead, she chose to offer terms of a deal.

"Land? Money? Do you think you can afford it?"

Shirou said mockingly without wavering, "Haven't you realized your situation? Right now, you're not the young lady of the Boreas family. You're just a prisoner about to become a slave. You don't have as much value as you think. Not to mention whether your family is really willing to pay that much for you."

"That's not true! Grandfather, Father, and Ghislaine, they must be trying to save me!"

Eris really trusted Ghislaine.

Shirou instinctively thought that when he heard her words.

On the surface, he said with a sneer, "Is that so? But are you really sure they're doing that? You haven't seen your family. Instead, you've been cruelly beaten by kidnappers. That's the truth."

"That…"

"Without you knowing, your family might be happy to have gotten rid of you, thinking about having a new child to replace you, maybe."

"That's not true! That's impossible!"

Eris got worked up.

Ignoring her current situation, she shouted loudly in anger, her astonishing voice echoing throughout the warehouse.

"Oh my, what an impatient young lady."

Seeing this, Shirou in Servant Emiya mode sneered and left the room with extremely agile movements, disappearing from the spot.

Eris didn't react right away.

The next moment, the drunken man kicked the door open again from outside with a bang! and barged in.

"What are you yelling about!"

He kicked Eris hard to let out his anger, kicking her until she even shed tears, before reluctantly stopping.

"Hmph, damn it! If you yell again, I'll kill you!"

After saying that arrogantly, the man turned and left.

"Waa... Waa..."

After being beaten so cruelly and heartlessly, Eris finally couldn't help but cry out loud.

The pain in her body and the cruel reality finally made Eris, who was self-centered, understand her situation. Her original arrogance and pride were finally wearing down.

Just then, Shirou appeared again. He silently glanced at Eris's condition. Although he couldn't see the details clearly, he could feel that the damage to her body was extremely severe.

If left unattended, it could even lead to death.

But Shirou still didn't think about treating Eris. He coldly watched the girl crying sadly on the ground and said with a sneer, "Do you understand now? Whether you're still the so-called young lady. Right now, you're nothing. You're just a prisoner."

"Waa... Waa..."

Eris finally didn't argue with Shirou's words. In the silent room, only the girl's crying could be heard faintly.

Shirou didn't want to completely break her down either. That wouldn't do him any good.

So he deliberately provoked her, saying, "So, you're choosing to give up like this? Honestly admitting that you're going to be a slave, treated like a toy by someone from who knows where?"

"H-How could I!"

Eris retorted immediately, but she had finally learned her lesson and didn't make a loud noise.

People always learn to reflect in pain and despair. This was perfectly shown in her.

For a moment, the red-haired girl finally looked directly at the man in front of her. She hesitated, seeming to think about what to do, and said stiffly with a plea, "If... if you're willing to save me, I'll do anything!"

Eris had obviously never asked someone for help in a humble way in her life, so her tone of speech was somewhere between a request and an order.

Shirou was undoubtedly not very satisfied with this, but he also knew that it would be difficult to get this arrogant young lady to understand what the right way to ask someone for help was in a short time.

So, he said quietly, "Alright, I can save you, as long as you're willing to show your resolve."

"My... resolve? Do you want my body?"

"Not that boring stuff."

Maybe because of the current situation, some strange ideas popped into Eris's head.

Shirou denied it firmly and said sarcastically, "Resolve means whether you're willing to fulfill the conditions I set. Asking others for help is a simple matter, but there's always a price to pay. Are you mentally prepared to pay any price to get my help?"

"I... I..."

Eris hesitated for a moment at Shirou's words. She clearly didn't have the belief of paying any price.

Seeing this, Shirou didn't rush her. He said with a smile, "You can refuse my offer. That doesn't hurt me in any way. But you, do you think these kidnappers will do anything kind to you next?"

"..."

Eris's face finally turned pale.

The fear and anxiety in her heart completely took over her. Only the arrogance and pride remaining in her heart still controlled her.

So Shirou waved his hand, "Seems you still don't have the resolve. Then sadly, I'm leaving..."

Shirou turned to leave after saying that.

Eris finally couldn't control her despair and suddenly crawled up and grabbed his pants leg. "D-Don't... don't leave me. As long as you're willing to save me... I'll do anything!"

The arrogant young lady finally gave in, no longer resisting Shirou in any way.

Shirou smiled at this. "Seems you've finally accepted reality. In that case, let's sign a contract."

"A c-contract?!"

She didn't expect that.

Eris was stunned.

Shirou didn't hesitate and projected a Self-Geas Scroll. This was a skill that Servant Emiya had learned at Clock Tower, the magic holy ground. It could use paper and words to set an unresistable curse on those who signed the contract.

He didn't believe that this young lady would sincerely keep her promise. He had to rely on this outside thing to force her to obey.
