After Asher finally left, the cave grew peaceful once more.
Aurora stood near the entrance for a few moments watching the massive wolf alpha disappear through the trees before letting out a slow breath. Between the intimidating aura he naturally carried and the strange way he alternated between cold indifference and awkward concern, being around him honestly felt exhausting sometimes.
Meanwhile, the little snow lion remained sprawled dramatically near the cave entrance like a tiny fluffy king basking beneath the morning sunlight. Its white fur almost glowed softly beneath the warm rays while its blue eyes lazily followed Aurora's movements.
Aurora shook her head lightly before returning her attention toward the clay bucket she made yesterday.
