"That's too—"
Qynric, upon hearing why Cecilia had come to Cassia, was immediately speechless.
His mouth opened, closed, and opened again. No sound came out. He looked like a fish that had just been asked to commit several crimes against nature, morality, and possibly international law.
"Y-Your Majesty, those words in those orders are a bit..." He stuttered, his voice trailing off into silence.
Moments ago, Cecilia had declared, "I have a set of dragon bones. I need them to be made into weapons. Does Cassia have the resources?"
Dragon bones.
Weapons.
Qynric's brain, which had served him faithfully for decades through every shit under heavens, chose this moment to take a brief vacation.
"Let me meet Her Majesty and Her Highness, then," Cecilia continued. "It's time for me to personally greet them too. Miss Lilyca missed them, and I'd like to ask for their opinions about how I'll process this set of dragon bones."
Process. This set. Of dragon bones.
