CHAPTER 1 — The Birth Under the Hunter's Comet (Age 0)
The night the boy was born, even the beasts stopped breathing.
A silver comet carved through the sky above the Vareon Clan's ancestral palace, trailing a shimmering aura so dense that even untrained eyes felt pressure in their chest. The elders whispered that the comet appeared only when the world birthed a hunter capable of rewriting fate itself.
Inside the palace, the child's cry wasn't a cry at all.
It was a pulse — a shockwave of raw aura that cracked the marble floor.
His mother held him close, trembling.
"Kael… Vareon. His aura… it's overwhelming."
His father, Lord Arctus Vareon, placed a hand over the infant's heart.
Beneath his palm, Kael's aura spiraled like a maelstrom, dense and impossibly pure.
"This one is born hunting," Arctus murmured. "Born seeking. He will surpass all of us."
Outside, every beast on their estate bowed instinctively, lowering their heads toward the newborn.
And the boy's golden eyes opened for the first time — pupils sharp, focused, aware, as if he recognized the world and found it… unworthy.
Kael Vareon entered the world not screaming, but glaring.
