Amaira's POV
"Are you there buttercup?" A deep threatening voice is all I can hear from a distance to where I am hiding behind a box. I placed my hand on my mouth so that he can't even hear my breathing. My heart is running wild, I am scared totally drown between a game of survival or death. But I am still helding my ground and decided to run from HIM!
Suddenly a shadow appeared behind, a it takes no longer for me to register that he found me!
"Caught you buttercup"
"Ahhhhh.... Leave me please!"
"Arghhh"
I jolted up, the dream hitting me hard, I was sweating all over, my heart racing still remembering that day which has became my nightmare forever.
A day which still makes me go numb, the only man who made me fear that day. The blurred face keeps occurring in my nightmare till now! I don't remember his face yet still he keeps haunting me in my dreams.
The incident keeps repeating in my nightmare although I lost most of the memories of that horrible day but still some remnants of that incident keeps hunting my dream until now.
Before I can fully recover from the horrible nightmare, seems an old lady in her early fifties entered the room.
"Mam, sir has told us that you can stay here as long as you want but if you want to go, you can, his personal driver is waiting for you downstairs" she said with her head bowed down.
Suddenly, reality hit me and I roam my eyes to look around, a dark unfamiliar room. Where am I ? How did I end up here?
Then immediately, everything starts hitting my head, I drank something and then I started feeling dizzy.
Oh, God! I hope I didn't did or said anything wrong to him! What if I had recited all my not so holy thoughts about him! Oh God, what he must be thinking? Hope so I didn't said anything like that! He must be surely thinking what kind of pervert I am but it's all his fault! Why he need to be so perfect and fucking hot as hell!
Ahhh! Again I started my unholy thoughts about him. I am totally going insane now. Looks like this is how it feels when we get drunk for the first time and it doesn't end up well!
I clutch my head with my hands. Pain piercing through my brain. My throat is as dry as a desert now! Looks like I can grow a cactus for sure!
"Mam, I brought you a lemonade, it help you to ease your headache and sir left this painkiller for you, if you need you can consume it" she said keeping the tray beside, on the table.
Where is he now? A sudden question hit me
"Mmm, where's Mr. Singhania now?" I asked hesitatingly.
"Mam, Sir actually went out because of some urgent work but he asked me to take care of you until he returns back. He said you can stay until he comes back if you want but if you insist to go then, Sir 's personal driver is waiting outside he can deop you"
"Actually I need to go, I shall fresh up and go and thanks for your service, and also thank Mr. Singhania for this" I said.
She nodded and exited the room.
I went to the washroom. His washroom also shouts so much like him!
I splashed some water on my face and adjusted my saree and fixed my makeup. I found my bag on the nightstand. After getting ready, I searched my phone which was next to the nightstand. I glanced at the time. I came here in the afternoon and now it's past nine.
I drank the lemonade, avoiding the painkiller. Because my head is better now and I can't wait here anymore for him to come because I don't think I can face him after the stunt I pulled before. Hope I didn't messed it up badly.
I ran outside. An old man leaning against the car door waiting, as soon as he saw me, he straighten himself and gestured me to enter the car. I sat in the back seat and he sat to drive.
After few minutes of driving, I reached my mansion. I thanked him and he nodded in return and turned the car to depart. I entered my mansion.
"Come, Amaira have dinner, where have you been? Why so working late?"
"Yeah i shall join you all after freshing up, actually I went to Singhania to discuss the project for the next conference, so it took time" I reasoned.
"Is everything settled beta?" Dad asked descending down the stairs.
"All done dad, just some settlement with the government authorities tomorrow and then it's all ready"
"I am proud of you princess! You did all well. Mr. Singhania would be joining you too tomorrow for the meeting with the government authorities and then we can initiate the project ". He said taking me into a hug. I nodded and kissed his cheeks smiling widely at his words. I ran upstairs to freshen up.
Rudraksh's POV
"Is everything done?"I asked, my tone firm and authoritive.
"Yes sir" Rahul responded.
I headed towards the conference room. I had an important meet up today.
A man who is well knowned in the business as well as the underworld mafia. Dealing with this people is all our job since long but this man has crossed all his ancestors in being a heartless bad or tobe honest the worst man alive on this earth.
As I not really bang the doors of the underworld but to be honest, I am an aligning power among one of the top five mafia's in India. And this man, whom I am going to meet was once on the top being the only one but when I entered, i have managed to knock him badly and now grabbing the place of second I had gave him a nice battle and a welcome war.
As being the part of the align power, he wasn't able to affect me much but I did affect him much. Which is why he's here and I can't miss the chance to let him go.
Maybe he's here either to shake hands or knock my head off today. But he doesn't know me yet nor do I know him well. But the disaster I caused him has already grabbed his attention.
I straightened up. Buttoning my suit and walking towards the conference hall. I don't want to make him wait. Just for him, I left Amaira in my penthouse. Though I got the message of my driver Steven that he has dropped her to her mansion safely. But still my heart wants to call her now and ask. I knew she won't wait until I return so I already prepared Steven to take her home.
If it wasn't this man, I wouldn't have left her alone. I would have spend more time with her!
I entered the conference room. Rahul followed me behind.I saw him sitting on the chair with his legs on another.
"Knock, knock Lucifer!"
