Jax drove into the entrance of a luxurious hotel. Ash sat on the back seat. Her eyes widened when she saw the large neon sign at the front.
"The Meridian Hotel? This place is very expensive..." Ash mumbled.
"The most expensive hotel in all of Aeliz City as a matter of fact." Jax smiled. "But the reason why it is expensive might not be what you think."
"Why is it so expensive?" Ash said.
Jax stopped in front of door and smiled. His smile was sarcastic with a hint of madness within.
"Because no one mess with the Meridian Hotel."
Jax opened the door for Ash and helped her inside. Ash understood what Jax was referring to immediately. There were guards everywhere every few steps inside the hallway.
Each man stood still like a statue and each was packing. They wore their gun like a badge of honor and let it be shown clearly. It was both an act of intimidation and reassurance. So that the customers would know they were protected and their enemies think twice before doing anything.
