On their way out, the black cat juggled the pinky in its paw. The wooden finger seemed ordinary as ever without anything special about it.
Mater spat out the remaining four fingers that he collected. The Thumb, The Index, The Middle, The Ring. There was no reaction at all when the five of them met each other.
"Huh? I thought for sure that there was going to be some kind of effect." The black cat meowed.
"Fingers without a hand seems wrong. There might be one last piece." Crow said.
"You're probably right, Crow." The black cat nodded.
Sparrow had already taken the sleek back car out and was waiting for them in front of the hotel.
"Where are we going, Master?" Sparrow said.
"Let's go home, Sparrow." The black cat meowed.
Home had many meanings. But right now, the Underpark was their home. It was a very secretive hideout with no influence from outside.
The black cat lay on Selina's shoulder and purred softly, "Have you absorbed all of the Chaos Spheres?"
