ENJOY THE CHAPTER MY FELLOW PIRATES

Captain Frugal, a 6-foot-4 tall white and lean man with a massive beard and the captain of the one-hundred-and-seventy-man Frugal Pirates invading the island, is all smiles.
He says, "Alright crew, we are almost there. Conqueror of the North. What a joke. We'll show him who the Conqueror of the North is."
The pirates erupt with wild screams of excitement, shouting over each other in agreement.
Just then, a shorter man with pink hair and rainbow-colored teeth steps beside Frugal, smiling as well. This is his vice-captain, Natch.
He says, "Captain, we've prepared for over three years for this. Now it's finally happening."
Captain Frugal responds, "Yes indeed, Natch. That boy embarrassed me nine years ago. I had to spend years fixing my reputation. Only to find out his Conqueror's Haki was just a mistake as well. Such embarrassment must be fixed."
Natch nods and says, "Indeed, Captain. But did we really need to bring our entire crew for just one boy? Don't you think it's overkill?"
Frugal snaps, "Don't be stupid, Natch. Jerel did say the boy's Haki might be accidental, but it's been nine years since then. If he truly has learned how to use his Haki at will, we will need our numbers."
Natch smiles, nodding. "As expected of Captain Frugal. Always thinking ahead."
Frugal says, "Natch, as my second-in-command, you need to also learn how to think ahead. If I overlook something, you need to be able to correct me and show me the right way."
Natch says, "I got it, Captain Frugal. I won't let you down."
Captain Frugal nods. "Good. Did you bring the Recording Den Den Mushi?"
Natch quickly digs through his bag, pulls out a Den Den Mushi, and says, "It's right here, Captain."
Captain Frugal smiles. "Good. We will record ourselves embarrassing that boy and broadcast it around the North Blue so I can regain my reputation."
One of the random members of the one-hundred-and-seventy-man crew suddenly shouts with passion, "I'm ready to skin a kid alive!"
Other pirates voice the same excitement.
Captain Frugal turns toward his pirates, smiling, and shouts, "We are now landing! I promise you, after we deal with that boy Sterling, we will plunder the island and get a big payout!"
The pirates scream in excitement, filling the ship with echoed shouting.
Captain Frugal turns toward the island and sees a lone figure in the near distance, sitting down with a smile on his face, balancing his upper half with a flintlock pistol.
Captain Frugal smiles and says, "It seems our target decided to deliver himself to us. I will never forget that presence. I thought I'd have to kill villagers one by one to get him out."

The Frugal make it onto the Island
Just then, what would look like a legendary picture if taken unfolds before them.
Captain Frugal stands at the very front with a huge smile, Vice Captain Natch at his side wearing the same wide grin. Behind them, one-hundred-and-sixty-eight pirates stand ready.
Opposite them, still sitting down and smiling, is Sterling.
Captain Frugal speaks first.
"Norwell 'Conqueror of the North' Sterling. We meet again."
Sterling says, "It's been a while indeed, Mrâ?" His tone makes it clear he is asking for the man's name.
Captain Frugal answers, "It's Captain Frugal. And I don't like that smile of yours."
Sterling responds, "Captain Frugal, huh. It's good to meet you again, Captain. And as for my smile, you'll have to forgive me. I'm just a happy kid, you see."
Vice Captain Natch steps forward and says, "Captain Frugal, I see now what you meant by his condescending and overconfident nature. I really hate such people."
Sterling looks at Natch and twitches.
"You look colorful. I'm not going to lie, your entire look does not look good."
Natch snaps, "Shut up! You don't know art!"
Sterling replies, "You're right, I truly don't understand art. I mean, a banana stuck on a canvas with tape once sold for an enormous amount of money."
Natch blinks in confusion. "What are you even talking about?"
Captain Frugal smiles.
"Sterling, if I was you, I'd wipe that wide smile off your face. I don't know if you've noticed, but we have quite the numbers."
Sterling shrugs casually.
"I see that very well. I feel so blessed having such a massive fan club. But really, Captain Frugal, numbers don't mean anything if I can knock every single one of you out with just my willpower alone."
Captain Frugal bursts into loud laughter and turns to his crew.
"You hear that, guys? He says he can knock out everyone with just his willpower!"
The pirates erupt in laughter.
Vice Captain Natch chuckles.
"Captain, this kid truly is hilarious."
Sterling looks at them calmly.
"I don't see what's so funny here. I've done this before, and I can do it again."
Natch turns back to Sterling with the biggest smile he can muster.
"Sterling, there's no point in putting up that act with me anymore. I know you can't activate your Haki at will."
Sterling's smile instantly fades.
Captain Frugal laughs maniacally.
"Yes, yes! That's the look I want. The kicking in of despair."
Sterling internally curses himself.
Fuck, I showed my emotion on my face. The biggest mistake in psychological warfare. Can I still bluff my way through?
Sterling regains his composure.
"Indeed, you are correct. When I was eight years old, I couldn't activate my Haki at will. But I've had nine years to perfect it. Do you truly think I'm the same as nine years ago?"
Captain Frugal smiles.
"I don't know. Shall we find out? Natch, use the Recording Den Den Mushi and start recording."
Natch nods quickly, pointing the Recording Den Den Mushi directly at Sterling.
Sterling looks at the Den Den Mushi, his face now void of any smile.
"What's that for?"
Captain Frugal snaps, "Nine years ago, my reputation was destroyed as I was accused of running away from an eight-year-old! Other pirates stopped respecting me! My name was dragged through the mud!"
Sterling replies, "But that was not my fault. You're the one who spread those news yourself. I never cared for no reputation. If you had kept your mouth shut, nobody would have known."
Captain Frugal growls, "That's all in the past. You see that? It's a Recording Den Den Mushi. I will record myself embarrassing you and make sure everyone in the North Blue sees it and sees that the legend of the Conqueror of the North is just a myth."
Sterling finally stands, holding his flintlock pistol at the point, gripping it like a bat.
"Are you not embarrassed, Captain Frugal? Bringing over one-hundred-and-fifty pirates to face one seventeen-year-old kid and then proceeding to record it? Don't you think that will embarrass you more?"
Frugal smirks.
"We are pirates, Sterling. Nobody will care. Now then, shall we begin?"
Sterling thinks:
This is bad. I'm a deterrent to pirates in this village. If I suffer a humiliating defeat here and people see I cannot use Conqueror's Haki, this village will become free reign. What can I do?
