~Becklan's POV~
The next morning arrived gently, the sky outside washed in muted gray as Leon shifted. I was still half-asleep, tangled against him, my face buried in his shoulder, when a light vibration stirred against my forehead.
"Wake up, babe," Leon murmured. His voice was thick with sleep, a low, gravelly rumble that felt like a caress.
I groaned, burying my face deeper into the crook of his neck and tightening my grip on his waist. "Five more minutes," I mumbled, my words muffled by his skin.
Leon chuckled, Instead of pulling away, he dipped his head and brushed my skin with a trail of feather-light kisses, starting at my forehead, drifting to my cheek, and lingering playfully at the tip of my nose.
"Come on, baby," he murmured, his breath warm against my ear. "You need to get up, you've got an early start today, remember?"
