''Heaven and all that exists within the Formless Dimension I call for you to gather here and witness the joy of the day!'' The voice of a red dragon boomed across the majestic hall of the Dragon's Nexus as the doors opened to receive the grand entrance of the two white dragons as they moved down the aisle, flooded with dragons on the left and right and towards their everlasting throne. ''All bow and welcome the great dragon king!''
Every dragon fell on one knee, their hands pushed forward in reverence as they had their heads bowed uniformly. The male white dragon led his other half towards the rippling stairs and helped her to get comfortable on the throne before standing proud beside her.
The red dragon announcer paused, faced the throne to drop on his knees and acknowledge the presence of the dragon king.
She leaned sideways in a reclining position on her throne with her bare feet on the soft white cushions as she regarded everyone with disinterest.
The male White Dragon nodded at them all to rise and they all did in unison. The red dragon announcer then turned to face the crowd and said in a loud voice as he called Xueyao in to present herself before the dragon king first.
The female white dragon's gaze seemed to darken on her form as she strolled down the aisle and the gaze of a thousand intimidating red dragons.
She was dressed beautifully in a simple light blue sleeveless dress. Her long hair straightened and decorated with beautiful dragon scales and butterfly pins and she looked like an immortal fairy as she paused at the mouth of the aisle and paid her respects to the dragon kings.
Qing Yue looked the other way the moment she did and Xueyao tried not to lose her composure as a few red dragons scoffed and laughed at her presence.
''The tribulation guardian? Hmm, what a joke.''
They whispered among themselves as the male white dragon nodded at her form to rise and she did, careful not to embarrass herself further.
''I didn't know the formless dimension's prophecy was for me to wait for a weak, blue dragon for one hundred thousand years to save me.''
Xueyao pretended as if their words and mockery didn't have any impact on her and her confidence to go through this. If not for Sheng Chong being held hostage by the female white dragon, she wouldn't dare to risk her life to save any of them.
''Now!'' The doors slowly opened to reveal her tribulation partner. ''Heaven and all within the formless dimension all bow at the omnipotent presence of the great and terrible ancient immortal black dragon!'' Most people strained their necks just to have a peek at the formless dimension ancient mystery. ''The sovereign God of the immortal realm!''
The doors opened finally to reveal his unearthly form and Xueyao couldn't recognize him. People held their breaths, many fainted and most were this close to fainting. People collectively placed their hands on their chest as their hearts began to race in his presence.
Beautiful could never be the adjective to describe him because he was much more than that in appearance.
It brought smiles of admiration to many faces, his dark and regal beauty.
Golden, dragon horns shaped crown adorned his head as those long, silky dark strands fell like dark smooth waves all the way down his back. The silver strands in them made him look much more enigmatic and unique from the rest of them. The dark long dress with rich touches of gold complemented his godly looks. Multiple rings made from the very stars of heaven shined brightly along his perfectly shaped fingers and a few star shaped pins enhanced the beauty of his hair.
He looked like chaos himself.
A living temptation.
The king of kings and god over them all had finally returned. His appearance once again brought fresh tears to the dragon king's eyes. It forced her to rise to her feet to welcome him and only a few strands of self-control stopped her from running down that aisle to welcome back her beloved master.
He regarded no one as he stood at the threshold of the dragon nexus hall.
''What are you all doing?! Go down on your knees and worship him!!!'' The white dragon raged, snapping everyone from whatever trance they were being pulled into as they all bowed down their heads completely on the ground in worship. She turned to the white dragon still standing arrogantly beside her and one look from her was all it took for him to fall on his knees in respect.
Qing Yue stared at every bowed head and knees before the return of her master in indescribable satisfaction. It brought a crazed smile to her face and she just couldn't wait for when they would start ruling the universe together.
But there was one problem.
Everyone had their heads bowed down in submission for so long that they began to raise their heads one by one to see the immortal black dragon still standing by the door and yet to take a single step forward.
Qing Yue gazed softly at him as she wondered what was wrong.
His eyes remained on the girl that had no reason to keep her head bowed before him. After all, they were going to be saving the world together.
Everyone held their breaths when he slowly raised his right hand, adding to the insane tension in the hall as he held them in suspense of what he was going to do.
One snap of his fingers across the hall had Xueyao rising to her feet with the help of his magic…her feet a few centimeters from the ground as she stared around in confusion.
His gaze lingered on her form before he brought her gently with his magic to stand beside him. His cold hands wrapped around her soft one and pulled her to his side.
Xueyao stared at him wide-eyed in disbelief, her heart pounding more than ever as he refused to cast her a single glance to explain his intentions.
After a brief moment of silence that occurred between them, he opened his mouth to tell her his reasons for this.
''Walk with me.''
He said.
''I can't do this without you by my side.''
He didn't give her enough time to process the meaning of his words when he took the first step and slowly began to lead her down that aisle again. This time, with him standing strong, dominant and protectively by her side.
She couldn't take her eyes off him as she tried to wrap her head around his intentions still.
Everyone's mouths dropped as not only were they bowing before the immortal black dragon but before the weakest blue dragon in the whole immortal realm.
They reached the end of the aisle as he turned them around to face the large crowd of bowed heads and knees. The white dragon slowly lost it behind them as she wondered what in the world her master was trying to do in her presence.
The girl in his hold slightly fought to be free from his hold but he refused as he regarded each of them in quiet disappointment.
Their dedication in tempting him to change his mind about giving them all a second chance couldn't be ignored by him.
''I don't know any of you and I don't want to.''
He began in a voice only unique to him.
''And I simply do not want any of your hypocritical praises or ingenuine acknowlegements.''
The white dragon's mouth parted at her master in disbelief.
His gaze darkened on them. ''You all make me sick when you try to prove you are stronger by downgrading another.''
''Before me, you are all the same ungrateful idiots I chose to ignore for one hundred thousands years and return with the same urge to watch you all get destroyed by karma.''
''Master…''
He ignored her callings and continued to pour out his mind to them without shame. The girl beside him had a horrified look drawn on her face as no one dared to raise their heads to look him in the eye.
''Disgraceful…unworthy…''
''Master!'' Qing Yue cried out when he proceeded to add salt on the scabs he reopened with his insensitive words.
''...mortal souls I accidentally gave the chance to live again. And the best you could all do is to shamelessly prey on the weakest and disregard her like she isn't one of you.''
The silence that persisted was greater than the one witnessed in the grave. Even their hearts rendered to his words as the ancient dragon spoke his mind about them.
''Looking at you all…you really are not worth being saved but for her sake I am willing to sacrifice this much for you all.''
''Beware…'' He continued, making sure his words were imprinted in their hearts forever. ''If I can change my mind about saving you all because of her, imagine what can happen if anything is done or said against her.''
