A visible crease appeared on his forehead when the sound of his reading partner munching on many things kept distracting him from reading.
He turned his head to glare daggers at her small form as she kept fishing out small rounded cakes and cookies in a large bowl placed beside her. The annoying sounds she made as she bit and chewed on the cakes were this close to driving him mad.
How could she read whatever the hell she was reading with her mouth so busy?
Xueyao faced him when he wouldn't stop glaring at her. She wondered what she did to deserve that displeased look from him. She forced the remaining cake in her hand inside her mouth and her mouth swelled as she struggled to chew and swallow it all down at once.
He looked away, slightly irritated.
''What? I am not going to share with you,'' she said and he couldn't help but return her words with another one of his looks.
