Chapter 1 - THE Crimson Moon Tragedy

The Crimson Moon… A Night When Blood Falls From the Sky

The wind that night carried an unnatural stillness.

The entire sky had turned blood-red, as if the heavens themselves were soaked in slaughter. Doors shut early, lamps dimmed, and whispers spread through the village—

Because tonight was the night of the Crimson Moon,

a night when chaos was said to crawl out of ancient wounds.

A thin, quiet boy stood outside his home, staring at the red sky.

Yu Yuan.

Fear flickered in his eyes… but beneath it was something else—

an unexplainable instinct that this night would change his destiny.

Behind him, his frail mother stepped forward and gently placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Yu'er… come inside. This night is not auspicious."

Yu didn't move.

He asked in a soft voice:

"Mother… why does the Crimson Moon shine so red?"

Her eyes trembled with an emotion she tried to hide.

"Because old wounds of the world… reopen on this night."

Yu lowered his gaze.

His mother had been sick for years, yet she always forced a smile for his sake.

Her body was breaking, but her heart never did.

She stroked his hair lovingly.

"One day, Yu'er… you will become someone great."

Yu bit his lip.

How? My spirit veins are crippled… I have no future.

But before he could speak—

---

🔥 BOOM! — The Night Was Shattered

A thunderous explosion tore through the quiet.

Dust surged into the air as if a mountain had shattered.

Yu and his mother spun around—

Houses were burning.

People were screaming.

Shadowy figures were charging in.

Bandits.

And leading them was a monster of a man, nearly seven feet tall, fists as large as boulders, muscles like steel plates.

Iron Fist Hu.

His voice shook the ground as he roared:

"LISTEN UP! On Crimson Moon nights… I hunt!"

Villagers scattered. Children cried.

Yu grabbed his mother's hand:

"Mother, we have to run!"

But Iron Fist Hu's sharp eyes locked onto them.

He pointed at Yu and grinned.

"Look there! A weakling brat. Bring him to me."

Yu pushed his mother behind him:

"Mother, go! I'll hold him off!"

She screamed:

"YU NO—!"

But it was too late.

---

Death Approaches

Iron Fist Hu grabbed Yu by the collar as if he weighed nothing.

"Heh… Crippled Spirit Veins?

You won't survive a single punch from me."

Yu spat blood at his face.

"Don't… touch my mother!"

Hu laughed.

And drove a fist into Yu's stomach.

THUD!

Yu's body skidded across the ground, blood spilling from his mouth.

His mother rushed to him, cradling him in panic.

"Yu'er! Please—open your eyes!"

Yu heard only her trembling voice…

and the crackling of burning wood surrounding them.

Iron Fist Hu approached slowly, hungry for more suffering.

He grabbed Yu's mother by the neck.

"Let's deal with the old woman first."

Yu screamed:

"NOOO!!"

But Hu drove a glowing finger into her heart.

Her body went limp.

She collapsed into Yu's arms, trembling fingers reaching for his face.

Tears streamed down her cheeks.

"Yu'er… don't… die… live… and one day…"

Her breath weakened.

"…avenge…"

Her eyes closed forever.

Yu froze.

His soul ripped apart.

The world blurred into red and smoke.

He clutched her blood-soaked hand and cried out—

"MOTHER!!!"

The Crimson Moon glowed brighter, bathing him in hellish light.

Iron Fist Hu yawned.

"Your turn, boy."

Yu didn't resist.

He wanted death.

There was nothing left.

But at that exact moment—

---

Power Answers a Dying Heart

The ground beneath Yu began to tremble.

Where his mother's blood had soaked into the earth, ancient black symbols ignited, swirling in a circle.

The air froze.

Even the flames seemed to stop moving.

A voice older than time whispered inside Yu's mind:

"…Child drenched in despair… do you seek power?"

Yu blinked.

Sweat and tears mixed on his face.

"If power is the only thing that can keep me alive…

then yes. I want it."

The voice growled:

"Power demands suffering, blood, loneliness…"

Yu looked at the crimson sky.

"I'll endure everything."

"THEN TAKE IT."

The seal exploded.

A spiraling torrent of black, abyss-like energy surged into Yu's broken body.

His veins burned as if molten iron flowed through them.

But he didn't scream.

He didn't even flinch.

He only thought—

I will avenge my mother.

Iron Fist Hu stepped forward angrily.

"What new trick is this? I'll kill you both—"

He stopped mid-sentence.

Because Yu Yuan…

stood up.

His once brown eyes had turned pitch-black—

like swirling voids that devoured light.

A mechanical whisper filled the air:

"Initial synchronization: complete."

Yu lifted his head.

His voice was calm. Too calm.

"Your death… will be the beginning of my story."
