Chapter 5 - Swinging Around New York

Aaron glanced at the time, half an hour had passed unknowingly.

He then rushed to the cafe and, upon entering, saw Kate looking bored.

When Aaron appeared, Kate pushed her chair away and bounced over.

When she was still two or three meters away, Kate thought of something and paused. She put on a calm expression, but her eyes were constantly scanning.

"Where are those things?"

Seeing this, Aaron deliberately reached into his pant's pocket.

Kate immediately backed away in fright. "Oh my god, you really put it in your pocket. It's so big."

!!!

So big?

Aaron followed her gaze, and his face instantly darkened.

Vaguely sensing other people's wary, shocked, suspicious, or delighted gazes, Aaron helplessly pulled out his pocket.

"Alright, I had him send the stuff home. I don't have anything on me."

Kate was a little disbelieving. "Then this..."

"It's a banana. Alright, let's leave. Do you still want to drink coffee?"

Aaron pulled Kate outside. If he stayed any longer, he'd probably be mistaken for a pervert.

However, Kate was still very curious and even wanted to touch it.

Aaron rolled his eyes, looked at the tall buildings, and had an idea. "Actually, I have another ability. Do you want to swing?"

"Eh? Is there one here?"

Kate's attention was indeed caught. She no longer cared about investigating the so-called banana, looking left and right with a suspicious expression.

"Get ready."

Aaron shot out strands of web from his left hand, sticking Kate to him, then swung his right hand, and a long strand of web stuck to a distant building.

After sending a message to the nearby bodyguards in his mind, he instantly shot out.

"Ahhhhh—"

"I'm flying!"

As the two became black dots, constantly swaying between the buildings, Kate's terrified and excited screams sounded from afar.

Meanwhile, two nearby bodyguards huddled together, looking at each other, then at the unknown text message that had arrived at some point, and for a moment, they fell into a state of doubting life.

When did Aaron use his phone to send them a text message?

Do they still need to chase after him now?

Looking up, the idea of chasing after him was instantly discarded.

A bodyguard picked up his phone and made a call, "Boss, Young Miss Kate flew away."

!!!

Eleanor, who was in a meeting on the other side, was bewildered.

Kate flew away? Is today April Fool's Day?

"Mr. Aaron sent us a text message, then he flew into the sky with Kate. Now, he's probably... already two blocks away? Do we still need to chase after him? Perhaps we can request the use of satellites or surveillance?"

Eleanor's eyes were blank, and her mind was empty.

Actually, she had given Aaron both a house and money not just out of simple gratitude to him, but also to gain his favor through these material conditions.

Perhaps he could work for her Bishop Security. A company with a Superhero would definitely win the favor of countless wealthy individuals.

But now...

Did they really have the ability to secure such a powerful man?

Mysterious, powerful...

But now it seemed, at least Kate and Aaron's relationship was still good?

Even if they couldn't recruit him, gaining his friendship would also be good.

Eleanor's mind, like a machine, spun wildly. Her peripheral vision suddenly caught Kate waving and smiling at her from outside the window, then she and Aaron suddenly flew into the distance.

Oh my god, this is on the twenty-something floor!

"Boss? Boss?"

"I... saw it..."

Eleanor took a deep breath, her expression constantly changing. "You don't need to worry about it, come back first."

After recovering, she looked at the managers below and suddenly felt bored.

"Meeting adjourned!"

Flying...

She was a little jealous of Kate. It must have been very exciting, right?

"Wow! That was so exciting."

"I saw my mom's company, and I even said hello to mom."

"That's my school over there. They'll be so jealous when they see me."

"Faster! This is awesome. I'm flying in the sky."

Aaron, holding Kate, swung through the center of New York.

Since Spider-Man hadn't appeared yet, they could be considered to be the first people to swing all over New York.

When Aaron brought Kate down from the sky, landing on the rooftop of a tall building, Kate was still a little reluctant for it to end.

"That was so cool!"

"I've never experienced anything like this before, flying freely, even freer than birds."

"It would be even better if you didn't wrap me in that stuff.'

Kate's face was flushed red as she excitedly proclaimed her experience.

She wasn't exactly a good girl to begin with, and Aaron's swinging thoroughly ignited the desire for thrilling experiences deep within her.

She clung to Aaron, wanting to play more.

Aaron looked at Kate. Her legs were still trembling, but she was completely unaware.

Pointing to the setting sun, he shook his head helplessly. "Your parents must have told you that children shouldn't stay out late, especially little girls."

"Let's go, we're going back."

Amidst Kate's exclamations, Aaron held her and quickly swung through New York.

Although it was his first time experiencing "web-swinging," his body coordination, no less than Spider-Man's, allowed him to easily master this alternative form of flight.

Who didn't want to have the superpower to "fly" freely through the city?

Not to mention Kate, even Aaron found it quite thrilling.

After dropping Kate off at home, Aaron waved to Eleanor and the others waiting at the door, then lightly stepped, and he shot straight into the sky.

Just as he was about to land, his web stretched for dozens of meters, sticking to a building, and he took off again.

"Hey! I'll come find you tomorrow, I still want to play!" Kate shouted at Aaron's retreating back.

The latter gave an 'ok' sign without looking back and quickly disappeared among the tall buildings.

"Kate."

Eleanor reacted and quickly went to Kate's side.

"Mom, today was amazing! Aaron is simply omni-man. He's omnipotent." Kate babbled excitedly.

Seeing this, Eleanor could only look at her dotingly, quietly listening to her share her fun stories.

However, the more she listened, the more envious she became, wishing she could take her place.

At the same time, she was even more alarmed by the strength Aaron displayed.

This man was even more mysterious and powerful than she had imagined.

Thinking of this, Eleanor leaned down and whispered, "Kate, you absolutely must not tell anyone else about these things. That would cause some trouble for Mr. Aaron, do you understand?"

Kate looked up and said seriously, "You can rest assured. Superheroes can't reveal their identities, I understand all of that."

"Besides you, I won't tell anyone."

Eleanor nodded upon hearing this. Although Kate was a bit restless and interested in everything, she always kept her word.

"Then let's pinky promise. You can't tell even dad, understand?"

"Mm."

Meanwhile, in Manhattan.

A young man sat on the school bus, boredly looking out the window.

"Oh my god! Someone's flying!"

"Where? Oh my god, someone really is flying!"

"Is he a Superhero? So cool!"

...

Hearing his classmates' commotion, Peter Parker looked out the window following their gaze.

He saw a figure in the sunlight, like a bird, flying from one building to another. He moved nimbly through the city, disappearing from sight in a few seconds.

"So cool! I wish I had powers like that too!"

Peter was full of envy. Hearing his classmates' lively discussions, he thought, 'If I also had superpowers, I would definitely become the most popular kid in class, right?'

A Superhero, it sounds so cool.

But then he remembered that in reality, he was a loser, and he immediately smiled bitterly.

How could such a good thing happen to him?

Aaron didn't know that the real Spider-Man was envying him, an "impostor."

Aaron arrived at the top of the Empire State Building, once the tallest building, looking down at New York. For a moment, his heart swelled with emotion.

He hadn't even spent a full day in Marvel, and he had already gained such powerful strength.

What about the future?

Would he have the chance to climb step by step to the very top, becoming a supreme god?

Aaron shook his head, temporarily not thinking about such distant matters.

I'm still too weak right now. Just a few dozen tons of strength. In the MCU World, that's only enough for a cameo role.

In the boundless Universe, I am no stronger than an ant. I still need to become stronger.
