Chapter 73 - Quantum Control

Aaron asked, "Do you have large-scale anti-gravity technology here?"

Sif nodded as if it were obvious. "We mastered anti-gravity technology ten thousand years ago. That's quite basic, isn't it?"

Aaron nodded, pointing to one of the floating structures. "What is that?"

"According to Midgard's terminology, that's a hospital." Sif glanced at it and said casually.

Aaron's eyes lit up.

He suddenly remembered that although Asgard still uses cold weapons, in reality, they have already developed quantum technology.

Admittedly, they haven't produced black technology like Pym Particles, but that doesn't mean they are inferior to Pym.

Just like Thanos, who, after obtaining Pym Particles, was quickly able to mass-produce them.

For Asgard, which has normalized quantum technology, mass-production is even less of a problem.

If I get the chance, I should strip this place bare.

Once this thought appeared, it could no longer be suppressed.

Aside from a few types of black technology, the most cutting-edge conventional military-grade or laboratory-grade technology on Earth might just be children's toys in Asgard.

For Aaron, Asgard was a treasure trove waiting for him to excavate.

The technologies currently in use or those that are lost can be transformed into his power through the Primordial Furnace.

Aaron immediately made a request. "Can I go inside and take a look?"

"Of course, that is your right." Sif naturally agreed.

With Odin's command, Aaron could go anywhere except Frigga's boudoir and Odin's Vault.

Do you understand the value of being Odin's brother?

Do you understand the meaning of Odin's words, "To see him is to see me"?

"Oh, right, do you have anything like warp drive technology or jumpdrive technology?"

Aaron had an idea when he thought of Captain Marvel's faster-than-light engine.

Sif shook her head. "We have the Bifrost Bridge. What use would that thing be?"

"If you want to play with spaceships, the Universe museum should still have a few captured ships from other realms, maybe thousands of years old?"

"But I guarantee they are still usable. Thor specifically tried those things out once, and they were quite inconvenient."

"..."

Aaron thought about it, and it was true.

No matter how fast a spaceship is, can it be faster than the Bifrost Bridge?

Coupled with Heimdall's ability, you can go anywhere within the Universe. Perhaps you could go outside the Universe too.

"Take me to see them sometime."

Aaron decided to become a scavenger for once.

What if he could find some good stuff?

As he spoke, Aaron saw the "black technology" within the hospital.

Ultra-realistic 3D projection technology, a soul refining furnace that can detect diseases and provide targeted treatment...

Aaron didn't hold back. He immediately activated an illusion, and without others noticing, he absorbed item after item into the Primordial Furnace for smelting.

[Gravity Control: You have mastered the power of gravity and can freely create gravitational fields around you, offsetting or augmenting gravity.]

[Healing: You have mastered the ability to heal, allowing you to instantly use energy to cure most diseases or negative effects in the world.]

[Soul Detection / Molecular Energy Control: You can easily see through molecular-level objects, and even perform a certain degree of detection and control based on this.]

[Quantum Control (Basic): You have marginally mastered quantum power, allowing you to use it to perform miracles that Mortals can hardly imagine.]

[Particle Flow Control: Similar ability detected (Electromagnetic Control). Fusion completed. Your electromagnetic control ability has been further enhanced, allowing you to easily convert protons, neutrons, and other particles in the air into particle beam attacks.]

[Super Vision: Similar ability detected and Fusion completed. Your microscopic sight has been further strengthened. Whether in the macroscopic world or the microscopic world, few objects can escape your eyes.]

[...]

Aaron remained outwardly calm, having secretly gained several new abilities.

These were only the ones with the greatest improvements, there were many other repetitive or irrelevant abilities. Perhaps he would never use them in his lifetime.

Asgard indeed possesses quite a few excellent things.

Healing stones capable of instantly curing injuries.

A soul refining furnace made using a quantum generator, capable of transferring energy at the molecular level.

Some involved technology, some involved magic, but in the end, they all transformed into a part of Aaron's abilities. He had even mastered a certain degree of quantum power. This was a good thing.

In the Avengers, quantum technology was even used to create a quantum tunnel, allowing them to travel through time back to the past.

Of course, such a result would only create another parallel Universe, generating a new time branch.

Furthermore, one must remain anonymous and avoid affecting the world as much as possible. Otherwise, they might win the jackpot and attract the Council of Kangs.

Although Aaron currently couldn't achieve time-traveling, he could use quantum power to more easily detect his surroundings and even become invisible at the quantum level.

Just like Ava, the quantum ghost in Ant-Man.

However, Ava's quantum invisibility was not independently controllable and risked going out of control. But Aaron would not have that problem.

This ability was entirely a part of him, controllable at will, just like blinking, sticking out his tongue, or breathing.

"You look happy? Maybe we can go somewhere more fun." Sif, who had been acting as the guide, winked at Aaron.

The other busy physicians in the hospital looked surprised at Sif and the complete stranger, Aaron. They couldn't imagine Sif being so enthusiastic toward another strange man.

Where was Thor? Wouldn't he come and intervene?

Ten minutes later.

Aaron had thought Sif would take him to the museum, but...

"The fun place you mentioned is a bar?"

Entering the bar, Aaron felt a medieval atmosphere rush over him.

There were mercenaries drinking heartily, scantily-clad barmaids, and a silent bartender.

Aaron also saw a familiar figure.

Fandral was sitting there, an arm around a barmaid on each side, drinking and laughing merrily, whispering into their ears.

Sif noticed Fandral and shrugged. "I thought you men liked it here, like Fandral. Volstagg also comes here to fabricate legendary stories."

"Alright, I was just kidding with you."

Seeing that Aaron was truly uninterested, Sif pointed to a large, floating building across the sky and said, "The museum you want to go to is over there. Follow me."

"Maybe we should call an airship, or we could find a colt."

"It's just a pity that the pegasuses disappeared with the Valkyrie. Otherwise, we might have been able to ride them and gallop freely in the sky." Sif sounded regretful.

Although she was also a Valkyrie, she was completely different from the vanished Valkyrie corps.

That group of the strongest female warriors had died gloriously on an outer realm battlefield, reportedly while fighting an extremely terrifying enemy.

Sif had grown up listening to tales of the Valkyrie and always wanted to be one of them, but no matter how hard she tried, Odin had no intention of rebuilding the Valkyrie corps.

Even her title of Valkyrie was merely a designation given to her by others due to her exceptional bravery. It was a title in name only.
