Chapter 95 - Returning to Earth

"I am a man, not a god. Even with the power of a god, I maintain the thinking of a man."

Aaron reiterated that he was not a god, nor was he the son of Bor, Odin's brother.

Odin nodded, showing understanding. "You will get used to it. We enjoy a long life, we must find things to do, mustn't we?"

"We must learn to live life as gods, otherwise it would be too boring and dull."

Aaron nodded.

Odin wasn't wrong, it should indeed be so. But even if he wanted to enjoy a good life, he needed to become invincible first.

However, during the process of becoming invincible, he didn't mind appreciating the scenery along the way. No good piece of scenery should be missed.

As for bad scenery... get lost.

Moreover, Aaron preferred exploring scenery that no one else visited, because that belonged only to him.

Perhaps one day, when he had climbed step by step to the very top, he would return here and enjoy his retirement with them.

But not now.

Aaron said, "To enjoy a wonderful life like a god, one must possess power that fears nothing."

"It's just a pity... that power is not here."

Odin's pupils constricted.

Aaron did not state his meaning clearly, but Odin vaguely guessed what he meant.

Odin's eyes flickered slightly as he said, "But the problem is solved now. Ragnarok will not happen. Surtur was torn into pieces by space and can never descend upon Asgard again."

He had only mentioned this matter to Frigga. Even Thor was currently unaware.

However, Aaron was not surprised. "Surtur is only one factor, and the threats in the Universe are not limited to him alone."

"Compared to the vast Universe, what is Surtur?"

Odin fell silent.

"You see farther than I imagined. How wonderful would it be if Thor had half your foresight?"

Thinking of his son, Odin sighed again.

Thor was already fifteen hundred years old. When Odin was that age, Hela was about to be born.

Yet, Thor's gaze still lingered on the small area of the Nine Realms.

He didn't realize that the world beyond the Nine Realms was countless times larger than this place.

Not to mention anything else, just within the Milky Way Galaxy, there were various Gods.

There was the Omnipotence City where numerous Gods gathered, and the Kree Empire, known as the first Empire in the Milky Way Galaxy.

And there were the Celestials who were rarely seen.

Although Asgard, like the Greek Gods, was a high-level God Race in the Milky Way Galaxy, it was far too inferior compared to the Celestials.

And just recently, a guy known as the Mad Titan, had ambitiously begun collecting the Infinity Stones.

And at the center of the Universe, there was a great existence, almost omnipotent, known as the God of Gods—Eternity.

Thor knew none of this.

Thor only cared about Asgardian wine and delicacies. His eyes only saw the mere Nine Realms.

However, even so, Thor was not even enough to dominate the Nine Realms. He had not yet truly mastered his power.

Even if he ascended, probably not many people in the Nine Realms would submit.

But Aaron...

At the age of twenty-two, he had skillfully mastered his power, sensed Ragnarok, and detected the hidden crisis in the Universe.

And by forcefully suppressing and killing Surtur, he instantly intimidated the Nine Realms, making many Gods submit.

This power and cunning left people endlessly amazed.

Prodigy!

More of a prodigy than Hela, more of a prodigy than himself.

"You're leaving? Can't you stay a few more days here?"

"Asgard... there are still people waiting for you."

Odin wanted to say that the people of Asgard needed him more. But after thinking about it, he didn't say it.

It had the suspicion of moral blackmail.

Now, when Odin faced Aaron, he had to be even more cautious, for fear of letting this powerful ally he had finally managed to win over leave.

There was no other way. Whether from the perspective of a father or the current king of Asgard, he had to find a way to pave everything for his son and his people.

Ragnarok haunted the depths of his mind like a nightmare.

And Hela, who would break free after his death, was also a huge problem.

Thor did not have the ability to clean up messes or handle problems. Instead, he might make problems bigger and create more problems.

Loki... his schemes were useless in the face of absolute power, unable to resist crises.

Otherwise, why not let him be the king?

Aaron was the hope.

Asgard might escape the nightmare of Ragnarok.

"I still have many things to do, at least you're not dead yet, right?"

Aaron knew Odin's thoughts, but he didn't care.

Sif and the others were right here. He only needed a thought to travel from Earth or even further to Asgard.

Even across billions of light-years, he could sense and communicate with them at any time.

If Sif and the others encountered any trouble, he could rush to them instantly just by hearing them call his name, Aaron.

On the other hand, Earth, although overall far inferior to Asgard, contained many things he needed.

Odin nodded upon hearing this. "Take care. Asgard will always stand behind you."

Aaron nodded slightly, and dark energy surged, making him disappear from the spot.

Odin looked at the empty balcony and then gazed into the distance. He saw the waves at the border of Asgard, stirred by the sea breeze.

Wave after wave, the previous wave was quickly dashed on the sand.

Odin became even more dazed.

"What a prodigy."

Earth, New York, Osborn Industries.

"Boss, you're back."

Felicia, buried in a mountain of files, noticed the familiar scent and looked up in surprise.

"Little Kitty, did you miss me?"

Aaron walked behind her and glanced at the files.

Hmm, security document signing for the Exposition.

Felicia nodded repeatedly.

Feeling Aaron's eager gaze, her face fell. "Boss, my task isn't finished yet, why don't you help me? Can we speed it up?"

Aaron raised an eyebrow. "I'm the boss, and you're telling me what to do?"

Felicia pouted.

But these were originally your tasks.

Why had she, a mere secretary, become a ruthless signing robot?

And she was also responsible for arranging various major events.

According to procedure, after Norman signed, she still had to re-verify the signature.

If it were anyone else, they might just glance and sign their name directly. But Felicia was very serious. Osborn Industries was Aaron's property and she was Aaron's little kitty.

Isn't it a little kitty's duty to guard the house for her Master?

Due to this, even with her super abilities and physique, she was somewhat mentally exhausted from doing everything herself.

Aaron noticed her fatigue and touched her forehead with his index finger.

"Boss?"

Felicia was puzzled, and the next moment, she felt her entire body lighten by several pounds. She was full of vigor and energy, brimming with vitality.

All kinds of hidden health problems in her body disappeared. The mental exhaustion from many days of staying up late also seemed much lighter.

"I feel like I can work for a whole day."

Felicia looked at Aaron with adoration. "Boss, what kind of ability is this?"

"Nothing much, just the ability to instantly heal human diseases and hidden problems at a molecular level."

Aaron raised an eyebrow. "Want to learn?"

Felicia nodded.
