Chapter 150 - The Ancient One

Seeing that Aaron had finished his main task, Venom rubbed his hands. "Boss, besides here, is there anywhere else you need me?"

Compared to Eddie, who strictly forbade him from eating brains, Venom preferred the generous and straightforward Aaron.

Of course, his heart would always belong to Eddie, but his body leaned more towards Aaron.

He could not help it. Following Eddie meant he starved nine times in three days.

But following Aaron was different. He got to eat his fill.

Seeing Venom's face full of flattery, the other Symbiotes simultaneously slapped their foreheads and turned away.

How embarrassing!

Aaron thought for a moment and said, "I do have a lead here, but the risk is a bit high."

Venom's eyes lit up upon hearing this.

High risk is fine.

The greater the storm, the more valuable the fish.

To eat one's fill, risk is necessary.

"No problem, leave it to me, rest assured." Venom licked the corner of his lips.

He desperately wanted to eat.

Once he returned to San Francisco, he would have to endure starvation again. He had to eat enough to be stuffed this one time, storing phenethylamine as "winter" provisions.

Seeing this, Aaron did not hold back.

Flipping open his small notebook, he saw that the suspected enemies included Killian's Ten Rings Gang, Pierce's Hydra, Councilman Rudolp, members of a certain underground gang's periphery, and Sokovia mercenaries.

Oh, there are quite a few suspected enemies.

There might be innocents among them, but Aaron was too lazy to investigate closely.

Whether they were the main culprits or not, they certainly could not escape involvement.

He copied a piece of information from his mind and used his psychic ability to transmit it directly into Venom's brain—no, into Eddie's brain.

Then he took out a phone and tossed it to Venom.

"There is only Felicia's number in here. If there is any movement from the targets, she will notify you immediately. You will then lead the other Symbiotes to handle it, understand?"

Venom nodded, looking at the phone as if it were a super treasure.

He was going to feast!

Anyway, none of these guys were good people. They were all using their own kind for research, their hearts black.

It was perfect for repurposing waste, letting him eat his fill.

Venom glanced at the other Symbiotes and whispered, "Can these tasks be entrusted to me alone?"

"Father, eating alone is not a good thing."

"Venom, I think we should have a good talk."

Although the other Symbiotes despised Venom's fawning attitude, when it came to food acquisition, they immediately became wide awake.

Aaron glanced at them and then ignored them. "How you distribute it is up to you to decide. Remember, what should be said and what should not be said, I believe you all know in your hearts."

The Symbiotes repeatedly agreed.

Seeing this, Aaron waved his hand, teleporting the Symbiotes and Moonbeam back to New York.

It was not until the third day, that the anomaly at the Alkali Lake Industrial Complex was learned by the outside World.

When Coulson, the S.H.I.E.L.D. workhorse specializing in supernatural events, arrived at the scene and saw the headless corpses scattered everywhere, he fell silent.

"Director, I think we have encountered a big problem."

"Colonel William is confirmed dead, and all personnel related to Weapon X were killed. All video footage regarding the scene has also disappeared."

"Other than headless corpses and bullet holes covering the ground, there is not much effective information here."

After careful examination, Coulson's expression grew even stranger.

"Based on the trajectory of the bullet holes, the people here must have been controlled by some kind of hallucinogen, firing randomly. I suspect they died at the hands of some kind of man-eating beast."

"Based on the wounds, this incident is closely related to the Life Foundation incident."

Hearing this, Fury immediately saw a figure flash in his mind.

"Aaron... was it you?"

Not just him, many people vaguely guessed whose work it was but none of them had concrete evidence. Even if they did, no one would step forward.

Everyone was in the same boat. Helping Aaron meant helping themselves.

That same day, news about William illegally conducting human experiments was exposed.

Just as Aaron had said, he was stripped of his position by the Military, and even after death, he would face Military court condemnation.

When Eddie saw the series of heinous crimes committed by William, his heart chilled.

This world is too terrifying.

Carlton was just a small fry compared to Aaron, not worth mentioning.

"Venom, I have figured it out, let's act now."

"Oh yeah, I get a buffet!"

After Aaron had dealt with William, he contentedly began his two-point life between the villa and Osborn Industries.

In the morning, he would flirt with his secretary when he had nothing else to do.

In the afternoon, he occasionally went to teach Kate lessons, while also seeking guidance on yoga knowledge from Barbara.

In the evening, he would give Lorelei a bit of a push and cultivate his relationship with the two little elves.

Originally, Aaron planned to visit Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.

However, the arrival of one person caused this plan to be temporarily canceled.

Looking at the bald figure in the yellow robe before him, Aaron raised his cup. "You are finally here."

"You don't seem surprised by my arrival?"

The Ancient One said with a smile, looking at the man who had brought her countless confusions, sounding slightly surprised.

"Surprised? Actually, I am quite surprised." Aaron nodded.

He signaled her to sit down and said, "I thought you would come sooner."

Although Aaron had only been in Marvel for just over a month, he had lived a considerably "fulfilling" life.

He had eliminated Ego the Living Planet, annihilated the Fire Demons, dominated the Nine Realms, and intimidated various factions on Earth.

Logically speaking, Kamar-Taj couldn't possibly have failed to notice him.

Aaron had long been prepared for a greeting from the Ancient One, or perhaps a house call service from the Time Variance Authority.

But to his surprise, none of them came to him.

It was one thing that the Time Variance Authority hadn't shown up. He could tentatively explain that by saying his actions weren't on the sacred timeline.

But Kamar-Taj was also completely indifferent to the commotion he had caused.

Could it be that they weren't bothered to investigate simply because he wasn't a purely magic-side existence?
