Ana's POV
"What the hell are you two doing?" Ridley's voice cut through the air like a blade, his expression thunderous as he stormed toward us, reaching out to grab me.
Morris's expression turned glacial. He let go of me and positioned himself between Ridley and me. "Ana nearly took a spill. I caught her. Got a problem with that?"
Ridley's glare could have burned holes through Morris, rage radiating from him at seeing I'd brought another man to our home. "Ana, you've got some nerve! Dragging a man back here while you're still my wife? Have you completely lost it?"
My jaw tightened. "Ridley, watch what comes out of your mouth. He's a friend. Not everyone operates like you do!"
The words came out sharper than anything I'd ever thrown at Ridley before.
His face went black. "Run that by me again."
