Ana's POV
I furrowed my brow. "Ignore Ridley's bullshit."
Ridley wouldn't pull any stupid moves before landing the Welch Group deal. More importantly, he wasn't the type to act on impulse.
Morris's lips curved into a smile, but he stayed quiet.
I snuck a look at him. He'd ditched his usual formal wear for a black T-shirt and matching pants today. As we drove under the canopy of trees, dappled sunlight streamed through the branches and windshield, highlighting the sharp angles of his face. His silver hair caught the light, almost glowing.
"Pretty good-looking, aren't I?" Morris's voice cut through my thoughts, making me jump.
I caught his eyes as he glanced over while driving. Heat crept up my neck. I cleared my throat, scrambling for a subject change. "For a Welch family driver, you sure dress down," I said.
Before this, I'd never really paid attention to what he wore. I figured anyone who could drop 600 grand would naturally have expensive taste.
