Elisabeth's POV
My mother's voice haunted me as consciousness slowly returned, her words cutting through the haze like a blade.
"This is exactly what happens when you refuse to listen, Elisabeth."
For once in my life, she was absolutely right. Here I sat, bound and helpless, completely at the mercy of a monster. The rough rope bit into my skin, leaving angry welts across my wrists and ankles. Every muscle in my body screamed in protest, stiff from hours of being restrained in this uncomfortable position. The overhead light cast eerie shadows across the room, making everything feel like a nightmare I couldn't wake up from.
My stomach lurched violently as the putrid smell hit me again. Something was decomposing in here, the stench so overwhelming I had to fight not to vomit. Through blurred vision, I watched Bobby prowling around the space like a predator circling its prey.
