Chapter 1 - chapter 1

---

Jay stared at her, the words still echoing in his mind.

"I want to break up," Camila said, folding her arms with cold impatience.

"W-what? Why?" Jay whispered, his voice trembling.

"Because I don't like losers," she replied sharply. "And you… are a loser."

The word stabbed deeper than anything he had ever felt. His friends had warned him again and again. She only loves money, Jay. She's a gold digger. Wake up before she destroys you.

But Jay—soft-hearted, loyal, hopeful like a puippy—always believed she truly loved him.

A roar of an engine split the air. A matte-black Lamborghini slid to a stop beside them. The door lifted upward, and out stepped Jack Aman—second-generation billionaire, son of the man who owned an entire shipping empire worth more than five billion.

Jack didn't hesitate. He walked straight to Camila, wrapped an arm around her waist, and pulled her close.

"Camila is my girlfriend," Jack said, his voice dripping with superiority. "So don't contact her again."

Then he shoved Jay aside like he was nothing.

Camila didn't even look back. "He's a loser, Jack. Don't talk to him. Let's go finish our date."

They slid into the Lamborghini, the engine growled, and the car sped away—taking his three years of love with it.

Jay stood frozen, watching the taillights fade into the distance. He didn't speak. He didn't fight. He simply… broke.

He was an only child. His father had died when Jay was just five. He had grown up in a small village, working as a civil servant—living honestly, humbly. He wasn't rich like Jack. He never pretended to be.

But he had loved Camila with everything he had.

Now, alone in his small rented room, he collapsed onto the bed. His chest ached like it was being torn apart. Tears spilled silently onto the pillow. The weight of betrayal pressed on him until he could barely breathe.

Never again, he thought. I will never love anyone again.

Then—

[Dog-Liking System Activated]

A soft mechanical tone echoed in his mind.

[Would you like to activate the system?]

Jay froze. Was he hallucinating? Was heartbreak making him hear things? But no—he was young, he knew exactly what this was. A system… only appearing to those broken beyond limit.

And it had chosen him.

---

> [System Installation: 1%... 2%... 3%... 9%... 100%]

[System Installation Complete]

Jay wiped his tears and sat up. "System… what functions do you have?"

A calm, mechanical voice answered inside his mind:

> [Host: Dog-Liking System Activated]

[Function 1: When Host spends money on women with a Beauty Score ≥ 85, Host receives double cashback.]

[Function 2: When a woman's Favorability reaches 90, Host receives 10 Points + a Gift Pack.]

Jay blinked. For the first time since Camila left, something inside him lit up.

He had promised himself he would never love again. Not after betrayal.

If women like Camila only cared about money… then fine.

Now he had a system that let him treat those same women as money-making machines.

He opened his banking app.

Balance: $15,000

Jay nodded slowly. "Perfect. I can test the system… and also make Camila's favorability go negative."

He stepped out of his small room and walked toward the campus. Students filled the pathways—girls laughing, walking in groups, sipping coffee. One by one he checked their scores:

70… 74… 80… 83…

Jay frowned.

"Beauty Score 85 is the system limit… that's why most people don't trigger it," he murmured.

Then—

A perfume-like scent drifted past him.

Sonia walked by, elegantly flipping her hair. Jay quickly checked:

Beauty Score: 86

Jay froze. Of course he knew her.

Sonia—the campus's most infamous gold digger.

Every rich boy she dated lasted less than a month.

And she was Camila's close friend.

She had laughed at Jay behind his back many times.

She definitely knew Camila dumped him today.

Jay tightened his jaw. Perfect target.

"This is the right person to test whether the system is real," he thought.

He walked up to her. "Hi, Sonia. What are you doing? And thanks for the lecture notes you gave me."

Sonia blinked, surprised. She smiled, but her eyes held that usual arrogance. "No problem," she said casually. She knew exactly who Jay was—Camila's loyal dog, the boy who bought Camila food, gifts, and still believed she loved him.

And she also knew Camila had dumped him today.

Jay smiled politely. "I was thinking… let me treat you today. Let's go to a hotel restaurant."

Sonia's eyes gleamed for a split second. He's trying to impress me now? she thought.

Of course she wouldn't refuse a free, expensive meal.

"Alright," she said with a sweet smile. "Let's go."

Inside Jay's mind, the system chimed softly—

> [Potential Cashback Detected]

Jay smirked.

"Let's see if the system is real… Sonia, today you'll be my experiment.
