Synopsis
“Waking up in a world of chakra and shinobi… I actually started with a System.” A young shinobi, trembling slightly, stepped in front of me. Shinobi: “Um… excuse me, sir. Your eyes—they aren’t Sharingan or Byakugan. What are they?” Aizen: “They’re… illusions. But not the kind this world is familiar with.” Shinobi: “Illusions…? Then are you a genjutsu user?” Aizen smiled lightly. Aizen: “Not exactly. I create illusions… and then I make the world believe they’re real.”

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: A Strange Awakening

Chapter 1: A Strange Awakening

The sun was warm over Konoha, its light filtering through the leaves of the dense trees that lined the banks of a gently flowing river. Beside the water, a boy of about thirteen lay motionless, his clothes torn and his body marked with fresh cuts and darkening bruises. His breathing was shallow, a faint rise and fall of his chest that was the only sign of life.

A low, pained cough finally broke the silence.

The boy's eyes fluttered open, only to be forced shut again by the brilliant, unfamiliar daylight. Confusion clouded his mind as he tried to push himself up, but a wave of agony slammed him back down onto the grass.

Where is this? he thought, his mind reeling. This light… it's impossible. The infinite hell is a void of endless darkness. This can only be an illusion.

He was Aizen Sōsuke, former captain of the 5th Division in the Soul Society, a being who had once ruled Hueco Mundo. His last memory was of the cold, oppressive silence of the Muken, the infinite prison, and a desperate, failed attempt to break his bonds that had resulted in a catastrophic backlash of his own spiritual energy. The resulting chaos had thrown him into unconsciousness. To awaken to this… this warmth and light was profoundly disorienting.

"Did I succeed?" he whispered to himself, the hope warring with deep-seated suspicion. If this was freedom, he would reclaim his power and his dominion. But a part of him wondered if this was merely another, more intricate layer of Kyōka Suigetsu's hypnosis.

Gritting his teeth against the pain, he tried once more to rise.

"Oh! You're finally awake!"

The voice was light and melodic, cutting through his turbulent thoughts. He turned his head, a slow and painful movement, to see a girl running toward him. She was young, perhaps twelve, with eyes of a pure, startling white. Her smile was gentle and kind, and though her features were still soft with youth, there was a noble delicacy to them. She was Hyūga Hinata, eldest daughter of the Hyuga clan.

Hinata had found him there early that morning, collapsed and bleeding. Despite his strange appearance, her kind heart wouldn't allow her to leave him. She had stayed, waiting for him to wake up, and now her face was bright with relief.

"Where am I?" Aizen's voice was rough, his mind racing to place his surroundings. "Is this the Rukongai? And who are you, child?"

Hinata flinched slightly at his tone, her gaze dropping to the ground. "A weird person… you look the same age as me, but you're calling me a child."

"The same age? Do not jest. I stand at the pinnacle of Shinigami, the master of Hueco Mundo. A mere child like you has no right to…"

His arrogant declaration died in his throat. As he spoke, his eyes had continued to scan the environment, finally landing on his own reflection in the clear river water. The face that stared back was his own, yet it was not. The sharp, mature features of a conqueror were gone, replaced by the softer, younger visage of a boy.

He was young again.

"What… is the meaning of this?" Aizen whispered, his pupils contracting in sheer, unadulterated shock.

At that moment, a cold, mechanical voice resonated directly within his mind.

Host consciousness stabilized. Activating system now.

System Designation: Shinigami System.

Initializing…

System Introduction: Host, a former Shinigami, possesses an innate foundation of spiritual power. In this world of shinobi, where Chakra is the fundamental energy, the Shinigami System will allow you to reclaim your powers, including the abilities of your Zanpakutō. Furthermore, the Host may also learn to wield Chakra.

Primary System Directive: Conquest.

Objective: Subjugate the Six Paths. Ascend to become the eternal and true god. Conquer the world of Naruto.

The voice fell silent, leaving a void of ringing quiet in its wake. Aizen's mind, usually a fortress of calculated thought, was in turmoil.

The Naruto world? Chakra? The Six Paths? The terms were alien, meaningless to him. And who dares to speak to me in this manner?

His eyes, now cold and sharp, fixed on the timid girl before him. A surge of murderous intent rose within him. He instinctively tried to unleash his Reiatsu to crush this insignificant presence, to reassert his dominance—but nothing happened. His body felt hollow, a vacant vessel. The vast, ocean-like spiritual pressure he commanded was gone, leaving behind only the barest ember, a dormant seed of what it once was. Even his connection to Kyōka Suigetsu was severed, a silent and empty void where his greatest weapon once resided.

A cold dread, an emotion he had long forgotten, began to creep into his heart.

Remain calm. Your power has not vanished, the system's voice returned, flat and devoid of emotion. It has been reset. By completing the tasks set before you, you will not only regain your former strength but surpass it.

"Who are you?" Aizen hissed, his voice low and dangerous. "Do not hide in the shadows."

I am the Shinigami System. I am the instrument of your future power. Fulfill the objectives, and you will attain strength beyond your previous comprehension.

As the final word echoed in his mind, a flash of white light erupted behind his eyes. A torrent of information flooded his consciousness, a comprehensive data stream explaining the mechanics of this system, the nature of this new world, and the path that lay ahead. He saw interface panels detailing stats, abilities, and mission logs, all framed with the aesthetics of a Shinigami's power, yet integrated into the strange laws of this shinobi world. He understood, then, the fundamental truth.

He was no longer in the Soul Society. He was in another world entirely, and the rules of his existence had been rewritten.
