Chapter 33 - Theme Song

Title: "When the Stars Forgot Our Name"

🎼 Intro

Soft piano + distant wind + faint heartbeat sound (very subtle)

🎙️ Verse 1 (Male – Main Character)

On the edge of silent mountains,

Where the cold wind knows my name,

I carried dreams inside my chest,

But my heart was never the same.

I laughed like nothing hurt me,

I wrote like I had time,

But every beat was whispering,

"This life is borrowed… not mine."

🌌 Pre-Chorus

If the night decides to take me,

Before I finish what I started,

Will my words still find your hands,

After I have departed?

🌠 Chorus (Cinematic lift – emotional but powerful)

If the stars forget our name tonight,

If my heartbeat fades from sight,

Don't search the sky for where I am —

I'm somewhere in your light.

Even if my voice grows weak,

Even if I couldn't stay,

I loved you more than I could speak,

In my silent way.

---

🎻 Instrumental (Strings + soft rock drums + Nepali madal rhythm faint)

---

🎙️ Verse 2 (Female – Kajal perspective)

Before I learned to love you,

You were already walking away,

You left behind a single letter —

Was that all you had to say?

No promise, no forever,

No chance to hold your hand,

Just words that felt like breathing,

That I didn't understand.

Why did you hide your breaking heart?

Why smile through all that pain?

Was leaving me with memories

The only way you remained?

---

🌌 Final Chorus (Higher key – emotional climax)

If the stars erase your name tonight,

If darkness wins the fight,

I'll keep your words inside my soul,

And turn them into light.

You didn't give me love in time,

You gave me truth instead,

A heart that fought until its last,

Even when it bled.

---

🎼 Outro (Soft piano + heartbeat slowly fading)

Whisper (male):

"I wasn't afraid of dying…

I was afraid of not being remembered."

Author's Note

I honestly don't know how good this song is.

I'm not very good at rhyming, and I don't think I'm better than anyone else. You all already know that. If you feel some lyrics could be improved, or if certain words don't sound right to you, you're free to imagine them differently. Music grows with the listener.

I recently uploaded Miles Between Us in Japanese.

The English version might be removed soon, so please listen while it's there.

If you are in a long-distance relationship, I believe this song will mean something special to you.

And one more thing — please don't tell me I need to change the story.

If I ever feel like changing it, I will.

Right now, I don't even remember every detail of it anymore.

But if you don't understand the meaning, I'll explain it simply:

It's about an introverted boy who falls in love with a girl from a distant country.

He knows she may never truly be his.

Deep inside, he just wanted to leave something behind in this world.

Maybe it would have been a child.

Maybe it would have been his stories.

The story never says it clearly, but his wish was to leave a legacy — something that proves he existed.

In the end, the female lead marries and raises her child alone.

And when the boy opens his eyes again — it's not the original world.

It's a parallel universe.

In that world, his love didn't die.

So maybe the old saying is true —

that some souls stay connected across lifetimes.

That's all I wanted to say.
