Visha frantically examined the wounds on Uri and Xeno.
The spiderweb was stretching as if trying to envelop their bodies.
That's when she heard it. Fill started screaming. It echoed in the forest. The sound was desperate. Visha turned to see Fil, who had transformed, with a leg that was almost completely black.
She turned back to Uri and Xeno. Their faces were pale, but they didn't make a sound.
"Are you okay? Are you in pain?" She asked them both. Neither of them answered. The veins were spreading. Visha started to panic.
She looked at the dead wolves, wondering if they were contagious.
Is it because they were bitten? Would they turn into those things?
Panic rose in the camp. Visha didn't want to move, but she needed to know. She needed to see for herself whether it was the same for everyone. She checked Fil, who was the most obvious.
The same spiderweb of black was crawling up his leg.
