Patrick tucked her in and sat by her side as she sniffled with a cute pout, laying on her side facing him. It was really hard without you, she started softly, you were so far away, it didn't matter how much I talked to you on the phone, I just wanted you next to me, but no matter how much I wanted it it just wasn't possible because of... and they had the nerves to just keep that from me, I just don't understand why.
I'll just say they must've had their reasons, they probably didn't want to hurt you, but as you're boyfriend he should've told you no matter what, maybe he's not who you thought he was, maybe the both of you weren't meant to be. Patrick felt like he was manipulating her in her time of weakness, but he couldn't bring himself to stop, and it's not like he was lying.
