Chiquitita drags Togata into the farmhouse and rushes to get a bucket of water and throws it unto him.
Togata begins to come through and he groans.
''Ugh, where am I?''. Togata asks holding his body in pain but tries to get up.
''Mr Sad Man! You're injured don't move!''. Chiquitita says as he rushes to get the first aid kit.
''Chiquitita....Hey''. Togata says with a smile as he rests down.
''Yes, my papa isn't here right now he's with everyone else they are hiding out at a secret bunker, you're on the farm''. Chiquita explains as he tends to Togata's wounds.
''Everyone,....Everyone's ok...Thank goodness''. Togata says as he coughs up more blood.
''Don't talk Mr you're really hurt, I'll help, I watched my papa do it.''. Chiquitita says.
''I'm alright, what kind of person would I be to let a little kid take care of me, when it's supposed to be the other way round''. Togata says with a smile as he begins to put bandages on himself.
He tries to grab one but notices his hand has a hole in it. ''Ugh! What the....''. Togata says as he looks at his hand.
''Oh yeah, in the ship, I blocked an alien from stabbing my head...everything hurts! Luckily they didn't stab my damn balls! How come I'm feeling it now?...I guess, it had to do with that new power, I couldn't think of anything but killing everyone there, need to work on that''. Togata thinks to himself.
''Uh Chiquitita, do you have any clothes?''. Togata asks.
Chiquitita nods yes with a smile.
''Could you go get them for me?''. Togata asks.
Chiquitita runs off to get some clothes. When Togata looks at him, he notices something on his head, a cracked glowing halo that rotates slowly anti-clockwise with an eye inside of it, that seems to watch him.
''What the hell is that''. Togata says to himself.
Suddenly.
BOOM!
The world seems to lose it's color and freezes. A familiar voice speaks to him as Togata's pupils dilate filling his eye once again, his gaze freezes in place.
''Togata, that boy...should have died a long time ago, it's time for him to go, there must be balance''. The voice tells him.
''Death...No...No way, not Chiquitita! He has nothing to do with this!''. Togata replies.
''I said I would ask for what I wanted, this is it, it will be painless, do it''. Death says.
''No way!''. Togata shouts.
''I'm not asking, DO IT!''. The voice shouts as space itself seems to crack.
''Make me''. Togata says.
''Fine, have it your way, although you suggested it''. Death says a hint of amusement in his voice.
Suddenly color comes back and time resumes, Chiquitita comes running into the room with a change of clothes. The halo spins faster but as Chiquitita comes closer it begins to spin slower and glow, the eye watches him, unblinking, just staring as it rotates around the inside of the halo.
''Here Mr''. Chiquitita says as he gives him the clothes.
''Thanks Chiquitita''. Togata replies.
''There's no way. I'm not killing him, you damn bastard''. Togata says with determination.
Suddenly the eye begins to rotate faster, it's gaze unchanging.
Togata puts on the clothes as him and Chiquitita head to the kitchen.
''Have you eaten?''. Togata asks.
''No I'm waiting for my papa he said he'd be back, when I came back from school''. Chiquita answers.
Togata smiles. ''Well, I can barely cook, Tick did all the cooking but, I can show you a students favorite, some ramen? How about it?''. Togata asks.
Chiquitita smiles and nods.
Togata begins to cook and the two eat and Togata puts him to bed and stays until he falls asleep.
''Well, glad he's alright, and everyone else too''. Togata says with a yawn. ''I feel so...Tired, dying is a lot of work I guess, I can't wait to see Tick, everyone, how am I going to explain this...''. Togata jokes to himself as he sleeps on a futon in Chiquitita's room.
He opens one eye and checks on Chiquitita as he looks over from his bed on the floor. The eye still watches him, spinning faster.
''You can go to hell, you might have gotten the upper hand but I am not doing your bidding like a good little boy''. Togata says as he falls asleep.
Togata wakes up, not in the room, but somewhere else, he looks at himself, he's a woman!?
''What the hell!?''. Togata says to himself.
He looks around. ''Is this even Japan!?''. Togata says as he notices different buildings and people that don't look Japanese. ''This...Is a dream isn't it?''. Togata asks himself. ''I can't move''.
''It's like this body is moving on it's own...Like I'm a spectator or something!''. Togata says as the body begins to walk.
The walks around as he enters an alleyway and notices someone following him. ''This must be death's doing''. Togata deduces as he turns around to face his stalker.
Suddenly two more men grab him from behind and pin him down as he struggles, he shouts but his voice isn't his own anymore it's something else, girlier, high pitched.
''Hey there sweetness, you gonna pay us or do we need another form?''. The man says.
''Leave ya creep!''. The body shouts as she struggles. ''What the heck, my body isn't doing what I want it too, usually these guys would be no problem...I guess it's cause...This isn't my body''. Togata thinks as they begin to tear his clothes.
''Better stop resisting, I'm no perv so Imma ask permission k good lookin? You gonna pay our boss or what? Or maybe being the gentlemen we are we can help ya out with the debt, of course for a small reward''. The man says as he holds a knife as he licks his lips.
Suddenly Togata speaks out. ''No way! Go to hell you creeps!''.
''What the! That wasn't me...It was the body it's speaking?''. Togata asks.
''Oh girly, you know we're nice guys, you wouldn't want us to do things the way the boss told us too, so c'mon give in''. The guy says as he touches her leg.
The body kicks his face with her heels causing him to bleed.
''That's it! I tried to play nice but since you won't cooperate!''. The man says as he begins to carve out ''HOE'' on her stomach.
''AHHHH!''. Togata and the girl shout.
''I can't move this body! But I can feel this pain!?''. Togata asks himself.
The man begins to carve her body with the knife slowly and painfully as she can't move as the others are holding her. The man carves her legs, face and back as she bleeds out screaming in pain.
''This isn't a dream! It's a nightmare!''. Togata shouts to himself.
Meanwhile in the real world Togata's body struggles on the futon in pain but suddenly he becomes still. His eyes open pupils dilated as he stands up and stares at Chiquitita as he transforms, his cloak covers him and a hood covers his face.
He walks over and stares as the eye in the halo stops moving around and fixes into place in the middle, the pupil in the eye contracts until it's not a thin line like the eye of a cat. The halo stops spinning and glows consistently.
Togata puts his hands on Chiquitita's neck and begins to choke him.
Chiquitita wakes up looking over at the being in front of him as he screams for help.
''Papa! Mr Sad man!''. He cries out as he begins to lose consiousness.
Togata hears this from the dream. ''Chiquitita! I know what's going on! CHIQUITITA! Come on wake up! Wake up!''. Togata shouts to himself from inside the dream.
But now he's no longer that woman, he's now a man who go hit by a truck, then a child who was kidnapped and drowned in a river.
''These visions! I need to drown them out, focus....on one thing!''. Togata says as he begins to wiggle his toe and shake his head from inside the dream.
His real life body begins to do the actions and he feels himself begin to wake up.
''I'm not your puppet!''. Togata screams as he wakes up, he de-transforms and notices himself choking Chiquitita, he lets go immediately as Chiquitita cries and he carries him up comforting him.
''Mr....Mr Sadman! A bad guy was here!''. Chiquitita cries.
''It's alright, it's alright, everything is fine I promise. it was just a nightmare...''. Togata says as he looks at his body.
''What the hell am I?''. Togata thinks to himself.
Suddenly Mr Mantis Shrimp rushes in. ''Chiquitita! Where are you! What happened!?''.
He sees Togata holding Chiquitita who's still sobbing slightly.
''T..Togata!?''. Mr Mantis Shrimp shouts.
''Hey...Mr Mantis Shrimp, where are my friends?''. Togata asks quietly.
''What happened how are you alive!? What happened to my son?''. Mr Mantis Shrimp shouts as he walks over.
''We'll talk about that later, don't worry about Chiquitita here... He just had a nightmare. Nothing but a nightmare...Just a nightmare''. Togata lies as he feels guilty.
Mr Mantis Shrimp carries his son and puts him back to bed after a while.
''Togata... Everyone was so worried, Thank Goodness''. Mr Mantis Shrimp asks.
''Yeah...Tick, My friends''. Togata says.
''We have to take you to them quickly!''. Mr Mantis Shrimp says as he begins leave.
Togata looks back to see the halo gone over Chiquitita's head. ''We...There's no rush really, let's just meet them tomorrow, I'm sure their tired, in the meantime we can watch Chiquitita and you can tell me about what's been going on ok?''. Togata suggests.
''Good point''. Mr Mantis Shrimp replies as he goes back to Chiquitita's side.
''I can't do this alone, but Tick...He'll know what to do, for now I just have to....not fall asleep I guess''. Togata thinks to himself.
