''YOUNG MASTER WHY DID YOU!...''. Tick says as he is cut off by Togata shh-ing him.
''Tick calm down, not too loud I know,...I know''. Togata says.
''What are we going to do!?''. Tick whispers in a panic.
''I don't know I thought you would!''. Togata replies.
Tick paces around the room thinking. ''Well, it is of no concern!! I will not allow anything to harm you young master! In this world or in the dream world beyond! As I always have''. Tick sighs.
''Thanks Tick''. Togata replies.
''But, you are exhausted, you cannot keep it up for much longer, you must sleep''. Tick suggests.
''No way! You know what happens when I do''. Togata replies.
''No matter, I want to try something, I was able to help you in your nightmares before so why not again, I believe if we can control the nightmares we can control you're sleep walking''. Tick suggests.
''Tick...But, I'm not sure I can take that again, dying, over and over, it's....''. Togata says holding his chest.
''I am aware young master, do not fear the pain, we will kick that son of a bitch back to the pit he came from!''. Tick shouts.
''Let's do it''. Togata sighs.
''This is a one spirit type of relationship! I will not be cheated on!''. Tick declares.
''Don't be dramatic Tick''. Togata says with a smile as he pulls the covers over himself.
''Goodnight young master! Cheerio!''. Tick says as he enters Togata's body.
''Goodnight''. Togata replies as he closes his eyes.
Togata falls asleep, but this time his dream, now he's an old man sitting at home.
''This again''. Togata says watching the dream play out.
The old man hears something and goes to check it, inside his house seems to be some people.
''Thieves!''. The old man shouts.
A figure stands in the darkness of the night watching him, he points something at the man and shoots at him. Togata braces for the impact but suddenly Tick rushes into the man's body pushing Togata out as everything is blown away all that remains is the old man, Tick, Togata and a familiar tall dark figure.
Tick and Togata stand now on the offensive. ''Tick, recognize this?''. Togata asks.
''Of course young master''. Tick replies.
''What don't you understand boy, you can't stop the inevitable''. Death says.
''Oh yeah? Then why did you want to use me to do it''. Togata asks irritated.
''We will deal with you as we have dealt with spirits before you foul tyrant!''. Tick shouts.
''Silence ghost, I don't recall making a contract with you or did I?''. Death says.
Tick gasps dramatically.
Togata notices the old man standing there. ''What is he still doing here?''. Togata asks.
''To teach you an important lesson, everyone dies, the more you resist the closer their time comes, and if you're not careful, yours as well''. Death says as he slices at the man and he suddenly disappears.
''I'd like to see you try''. Tick says putting his fists up.
''Oh would you now?''. Death says taking his stance.
Togata transforms, his original blue aura flaring, his cracked lens ticking, a mask forming around his face.
''This is more like it''. Togata says.
''I prefer our look better''. Death jokes.
''Go to hell''. Togata replies.
''Make me''. Death replies as he slices at Togata.
''10x''. Togata says as he runs around on the defensive dodging as many attacks as he can.
Death uses his massive scythe to throw attacks at Togata slicing the ground behind him, but Togata manages to keep his footing dodging as much as he can.
''Tick, go back to the real world, this seems....Off''. Togata says keeping his eye on death as he circles him dodging attacks.
''I thought the same thing young master''. Tick replies.
''Yeah, the meeting''. Togata says as he flips over an attack. ''You stopping that man's death, and this 'final battle' It's all too cliche''. Togata says.
''Can you manage on your own''. Tick asks.
''I'll try''. Togata replies.
''Indeed, see you soon young master''. Tick says as he flies out of Togata's body and out of the dream realm.
Meanwhile in the real world, before Tick left, Togata's body woke up. The familiar sound and feeling takes over his body, he gets up, pupils dilated, no longer in control as the cloak forms around him, he walks around and stumbles upon Aira and Momo's room.
But Momo is no where to be found, so he walks towards Aira scythe in hand as he raises his arm, preparing to attack.
Aira wakes up and transforms dodging the attack as it cuts her bed and the floor.
''Oh, what's this? Attacking someone in their sleep? How's that honorable?!''. Aira says as she stands facing the dark figure.
The figure smiles as it just stares at her.
''Ugh creepy!''. Aira says.
Suddenly the throws a slice, Aira manages to dodge it but it was a fake, the figure hits Aira out of the house into the forest outside.
Aira groans in pain as she lies in some fallen trees struggling to get up. ''Who the hell is this guy!?''. Aira says to herself as the figure walks out of the hole in the side of the house coming towards her.
''Everyone! Wake up we have an intruder!''. Aira shouts. But there's no response, everyone is still sleeping exhausted due to the training they did earlier today.
''Lazy and incompetent! Fine, I'll do it myself!''. Aira says as she takes an offensive stance.
But before she can even move Togata dashes towards her about to take a slice right at her neck, Aira can do nothing but try to block it but suddenly he flies through her and turns around.
Aira looks around and checks her body, it's see through.
''Oh my, quite a close one if I do say so myself''. Tick says as he emerges from Aira's body. ''Are you alright Mr Shiratori?''.
''Tick? Yes, I'm fine, how did you know I needed help and who is this fellow?''. Aira asks.
''Well...I suppose we couldn't keep this up for long, that is the young master...''. Tick says.
''Huh? So that thing is Togata?!''. Aira shouts.
''Uhhh, yes, but the young master is not doing this of his own will! He is well, sleep walking... We must disarm him without injuring him''. Tick says.
''You mean sleep murdering! I cannot make any promises''. Aira says.
Tick sighs.
''It is also quite unfortunate that the only one that could keep up with me is a ghost! My team are a bunch of lazy weaklings!''. Aira says.
Tick watches Togata closely who just stands there. ''I will guide you, I know the young masters tendencies in battle, he likes to go for a strike when the opponent least expects....''.
Tick is cut off by Togata dashing at the two, Aira manages to dodge it.
Tick gasps. ''Oh my! Ms Shiratori, you managed to dodge it? You are quite the fighter''.
''Of course I am, I'm the leader! Is it just me or did he aim for you as well?''. Aira asks.
Tick looks at Togata as he turns around remembering what Death said to him from his memories.
''I believe we must proceed with caution''. Tick says as he enters his body.
''Well then...Togata, I apologize for any damage I may cause, I might slightly enjoy it''. Aira says with a smile.
Togata watches them as a blue glow fills his body. ''He is...Using my power, Shiratori!''. Tick warns.
''I am aware''. Aira says as she uses her hair to grab him trying him to the trees.
Togata slices at her hair cutting himself down.
Aira gasps in disbelief. ''My hair! How dare you!''.
Meanwhile in the dream Togata manages to keep up with Death's attacks.
''Are you only going to run away boy?''. Death mocks.
Togata ignores the comment. ''I need to wake up, but, how do I focus while fighting this guy?''. Togata thinks to himself.
''This thing....Death, he speaks in riddles, I can feel every word that comes out of his mouth has a hidden meaning, I can't just put my finger on it, what does he want!?''. Togata thinks to himself as he watches him closely.
Togata looks at his attacks and body movement, Death barely moves but launches attacks from a singular position, Togata notices his attacks are slow, almost aimed at his feet not his neck.
''Back when we first met, he was way faster, almost like he read my mind. I know I'm pretty fast with Tick's power but, his attacks, they're sluggish now, almost, fake....''. Togata sighs as he stops moving realizing the trick.
Suddenly attacks head towards him, but they all miss. Togata walks slowly towards Death as he stops attacking.
''I thought so, you...Don't want me dead do you? You still need me''. Togata says as he de-transforms and walks towards him.
''Don't be so smug boy''. Death says as he puts his scythe to Togata's neck.
''Tick hasn't come back, and your missing on purpose...Aren't you?''. Togata says unfazed.
Death just smiles.
''How do I get out of here''. Togata sighs.
''How can you be so sure this isn't a trick as well? That I didn't lure you here to finish you off?''. Death asks as he presses the blunt side of the scythe head against Togata's neck.
''Earlier, you said something about becoming you, a piece of yourself in me, let's just say I have a feeling you're not the type to waste your time, I haven't done anything for you yet, I guess I still owe you, so you wouldn't want me gone just yet''. Togata says.
Death's grin gets even wider.
''That pride and nonchalant attitude really piss me off you know''. Death says.
''Yeah, heard that before''. Togata says as he starts to focus trying to get out of the dream.
''Yes, you are right about something, I do require something from you, but let me ask you, why it is you think you are so special to me?''. Death asks.
Togata doesn't reply he focuses as he begins to wiggle his toe, and it starts to wiggle in the real world where he is still attacking Aira, Tick helping allow her to phase through attacks she can't dodge.
''That ghost's power, it's been quite irritating to me for a while now, you should have died a long time ago, but yet, you're here, the power to turn the clock, time itself, why do you think you would be able to use such a power?''. Death asks.
Togata is getting distracted but manages to focus moving his head side to side to wake up.
''I don't know what you want and I don't care, I won't do your bidding.''. Togata says as he suddenly disappears from the dream world.
In the real world he wakes up, to see himself scythe right next to Aira's neck, but he is held back by her hair tying him around the trees restraining him from moving further. He de-transforms.
Aira falls to the ground panting as Tick comes out of her body.
''Young master!''. Tick cries.
''Tick, Aira....I'm glad you're alright''. Togata says as he falls to the ground on his back exhausted.
''Uh uh! Don't think you're just gonna go to sleep like nothing happened! You're gonna explain to me what the hell is going on!?''. Aira shouts as she gets up pointing at him furiously.
