''Takakura! I wish to fight him!''. Evil Eye shouts pointing at Togata now face down on the ground.
''No way Evil Eye!''. Okarun shouts still running.
''The way is clear follow me you two!''. Mr Mantis Shrimp shouts as they head to close the gate.
''Young master! Oh no!''. Tick scurries as he picks him up.
Togata detransforms on the ground. ''P..Pocket''. He manages to spurt out.
Tick reaches into his pocket and sees a half eaten chocolate bar and feeds it to him as his hair returns to blue.
The alien finally seems to notice him and start attacking sending missiles towards him as more aliens surround him.
''Ugh damn it they're still coming''. Togata pants as he takes a breath of life and gets up transforming once again.
''That was incredible young master!''. Tick praises.
''Thanks Tick''. Togata says as he transforms. ''I mean, nothin' much Ticky''. He says as his other self comes out a little.
''I dislike your vocabulary in this form but it's power is quite formidable! Although it's toll is as deadly!''. Tick says.
''Tell me about it, almost went CRKK!''. Togata says gesturing his scythe to his neck.
''It is not over! Now would be a good time to do something young master!''. Tick says as missiles head towards them.
''Alright young master be on the ready!". Tick says going on the offensive.
''10x''. Togata says as he lunges forwards attacking the aliens, he manages to slice some of them, but their numbers quickly increase more and more.
Unable to keep up as he can't destroy more than they can show up as it takes more than one slice to kill one he quickly becomes overwhelmed unable to attack them all at once due to his slow scythe skills.
He tries to dodge but they slam him back with attacks and shock him causing him to fall to the ground.
''Damn..? Interesting...''. Togata says.
''What is it!''. Tick asks.
''I don't really know how to use this thing for some reason''. Togata says.
''Huh? WHAT!''. Tick shouts.
''Yep''. Togata replies.
''What of your training!?''. Tick shouts.
''I barely trained bro, I actually thought when I merged with the other me I would get his experience, but guess not, I mean it's not totally bad I can control this form now but...''. Togata says without energy. ''Now that I think about it I still haven't mastered using this thing, we'll probably die''. Togata says nonchalantly.
''I see! But do not speak like that young master.''. Tick warns.
''Just being realistic they're way too many''. Togata says.
Tick looks around then has an Idea. ''Mister Takakura said something about spirals earlier. Maybe we can use that to increase our power!?''.
''Spirals huh?''. Togata says as he remembers how Dark Togata spun around his scythe to attack quicker.
''Oh yeah, the other me spun his scythe like a damn ribbon dancer, wait, spirals...I guess rotating the scythe on the interior with my wrist and rotating the scythe itself will allow me reach angles way quicker...that makes sense...''. Togata says.
''Indeed! And maybe that is how Death himself sent out aerial attacks earlier!''. Tick says.
''Yeah guess so, nice eye Ticky''. Togata says.
''Then do it!''. Tick shouts.
''Wait!''. Togata says putting a finger up as he readjusts his EarPods, I need some hype music lemme get s'mthing real quick''. Togata says as he looks on his phone. ''Damn I've got no music downloaded''. Togata says disappointed.
''Young master this is not the time!''. Tick warns.
''Yeah it is, I'm feeling really demotivated right now''. Togata replies.
''Ugh! He's still useless!''. Aira shouts still fighting.
''Boss lady calm down, if I'm gonna dance with Death...I'm picking the song''. Togata says.
''That doesn't make any sense!''. Aira replies.
''This is hashtag radio! We're now finished with the Q and A section here comes a new headbop that I know you deep dark emo teens will love, it's called swim by chase Atlantic but it's the remix, slow and reverbed like you hipsters like it .....''.
The aliens get closer and closer as Tick panics. ''Young master! Make haste!''.
Togata cuts the radio presenter off as though he's not about to be crushed with attacks. ''Dude can ya stop yapping and play the damn song I'm kinda in a hurry here''.
''Alright that's enough from me enjoy the song ya'll''. The radio presenter says as he plays the song.
Suddenly Togata hums in approval. ''Hmm yeah, Love that intro''.
Suddenly the whole battlefield freezes as Togata's lens stop clicking.
Togata spins the scythe around as nothing happens. But then time un-pauses and the missiles explode as some of the aliens heads fly off and they disappear.
''Yeah, Swim! Tick make sure no one gets hurt''. Togata says as he sings along and the bass drops.
''Where did this music come from!?''. Aira says.
''My apologies miss Shiratori, the communication device seems to be transmitting the song to our allies as well''. Tick explains.
Togata jumps around the battlefield slicing as he spins the scythe sending out attacks. Togata rolls his shoulder once, feeling the rhythm settle into his bones and using it to sync his attacks.
The first alien rushes him.
Too straight.
Too desperate.
Togata steps aside and lets the scythe spin into a swing, not a strike, but a spiral, the blade tracing a smooth circle through the enemies like it's orbiting him.
One rotation.
Two.
The third time, the spiral tightens
He moves.
He doesn't stop, but just keeps flowing, each motion feeding the next. Wide arcs collapse into short, snapping cuts. Togata glides through the enemy line, footsteps perfectly landing on the beat. ''Yeah this track is nasty''.
Suddenly the team sees a giant Kaiju and robot fighting.
''Huh!? Is that a kaiju!?''. Aira says looking over. ''It must be that weirdo Sakata!''.
''Hurry up over there Togata! We need to go help Momo and the others!''. Aira shouts.
But Togata can't hear her he's still fighting enjoying it a bit too much, lost in the song.
An alien fires point-blank. Togata dips under it, spins the scythe backward without looking, the blade clipping the enemy. He pivots, cloak flaring, and lets the spin pull him forward like a current.
They can't track him so they reinforce blocking him off.
''More we need more, corner the human!''. The aliens shout.
But Togata slices through their numbers quicker than they can come at him.
On another side of the field Aira struggles to keep up and watch over the Evil Eye at the same time as he frolics around the battlefield enjoying fighting the aliens a bit too much.
He then notices the robot and kaiju fighting where Momo and Okarun are.
''HAHAH Big strong robot thing!''. He shouts as he runs towards the kaiju.
''Evil Eye! Get back here! Dammit!''. Aira shouts.
''Tick go watch Evil Eye I got things over here''. Aira says still fighting.
''Of course miss Shiratori, do take care of the young master he seems to really be in his element right now''. Tick says with a bow as he flies off.
''I am not his babysitter!''. Aira replies.
Aira struggles more as now that the Evil Eye left the aliens have one less person to fight she is barraged by an alien that sends multiple punches her way slamming her backwards but she manages to block it.
''Uhgh! Damn it why do I have to do everything myself!''. She complains before another barrages her with missiles.
''Huh!?''. She shouts sitting on the floor unable to get away.
Togata rushes in grabbing her out of the way just in time.
''Ya good boss lady?''. Togata asks.
''Are you out of your dumb music trance now?''. Aira says.
''Nah the song's still going''. Togata replies.
''You are quite annoying!''. Aira says as she ties up the aliens with her hair.
He plants one foot and whirls, the scythe blurring into a circular halo as blue trails spiral outward. Every turn sends a wave of force ripping through the battlefield, slicing the bodies of enemies as they are immobilized.
''He's...Copying my style of fighting isn't he?''. Aira thinks to herself surprised.
Missiles fire again
Togata flicks the scythe once.
Just once.
The slice flies outwards.
Silence.
Then detonations ripple harmlessly behind him as he walks forward, humming along, totally unbothered.
''Woah...''. Aira says impressed.
Togata exhales his grin wide as ever.
An enemy manages to catch him off guard creating an electric net but Togata glides over it landing behind the enemy as he holds it's neck and puts the scythe to it destroying the exosuit.
Unfortunately this doesn't kill the aliens inside so Aira finishes the octopus looking aliens off as they scurry around for shelter.
Togata twists the scythe with one hand as he slices through the aliens with incredible swordsmanship.
The same alien that barrages Aira with punches stands in front of them as it extends six arms which all start to attack, Togata dodges them with a grin as he slices the arms off one by one flashing then appearing behind the alien as it is diced into pieces.
''The Kaiju destroyed the robot!''. Aira shouts as she sees the titans still fighting.
Togata doesn't listen just keeps fighting.
''Hey! Can you even hear me!?''. Aira shouts.
Togata just closes his eyes as he hums to the song.
He lunges for another but it blasts him back so he lands on another one with a devilish smile killing it as well as he flashes suddenly he's in front of the alien that blasted him back.
''Backup! A unknown adversary is diminishing our numbers!''. The alien shouts as we enter it's POV and it sees a dark figure walking by with Aira on his back.
Togata turns to it and grins as it's head falls off.
Aira covers his back as Togata manages to cut down their numbers quickly but they keep coming calling for backup.
Sniper aliens shoot at Togata from behind. But Aira blocks the attack with her hair. But even more show up shooting at the two.
''Behind us! Behind!''. Aira shouts.
Togata turns around opening his cloak as the darkness inside seems to eat the laser.
He jumps into the air slicing at them as he glides around using his cloak.
The aliens catch an idea of his fight style and barrage him with pieces of ground and more missiles as another creates a giant electric barrier trapping the two inside in the air.
Togata grabs a better hold of his scythe as he spins himself in place creating almost a torndado of slices as he starts sending ripples that he pauses mid air letting them stack together as the attacks still fly towards him.
The song keeps going and Togata gets even more into it.
''Yeah, I've been drowning, release''. Togata says to himself.
Suddenly all the attacks release sending a immense blast of air that destroys the barrier as Togata spins carefree inside of it.
''Push the water to the edge and watch it drip''. The song goes on as Togata gets even more into it.
Aira gawks in awe genuinely impressed as Togata looks down at the aliens below and begins attacking but we can't see his arms moving but they start falling.
The song reaches another base drop. As Togata flashes forward as the slices barrage the battle field even cutting up the ground.
''Hey! You don't have to kill every single one! Do not overdo it! You're running out of life force''. Aira warns watching his hair.
But Togata doesn't seem to hear her and keeps going grinning intensely.
Togata appears in front of the line of aliens. ''10x''. He says as he applies it to his scythe and slices in front of him slicing the air itself and causing sparks, cutting all the enemies in half as it explodes.
Togata stands in the explosion as he spins himself slowly enjoying the destruction.
Togata suddenly de-transforms and falls to the ground panting as his legs give out, Aira falling on top of him.
''Ugh?''. Togata says confused.
''You idiot! I told you not to overdo it! It must have been the safety switch de-transformation thingy''. Aira explains.
Togata looks around to see the aliens still coming and he can't move his body due to exhaustion.
''More...Incoming Aira!''. He shouts as attacks keep coming.
Aira grabs him with her hair pulling him out of danger.
''Ugh...I couldn't think straight! What happened!?''. Togata asks fading as if falling asleep.
''I don't know some massive Kaiju appeared and the robot we used to beat it before and I think It's Sakata fighting it!''. Aira explains fighting while keeping Togata out of harms way with her hair.
''But they keep coming! How are we gonna beat them!''. Togata asks.
''We just need to wait until Okarun and Momo can deactivate the gate''. Aira replies as she puts him down and the two stand in front of more aliens head towards them but the two are already exhausted.
