The team and Seiko walk towards Togata's old house as they arrive to see a mid-sized house, eerie and forsaken, the lawn overgrown the fence and fence gate rusted and old, but somehow the house itself is in good condition.
''I'm impressed kid. All these years and you still remember where your childhood home is?''. Seiko says.
''Some things you never forget''. Togata says with a smile.
''Well it looks horrible''. Aira points out.
Momo kicks her. ''Don't be insensitive you damn skank''.
''Hey! I'm just stating the obvious''. Aira shouts.
''It's alright Momo, I've never been back here since that day...I guess I just wanted to forget''. Togata says as he stands there lost in thought.
Tick holds his shoulder as he smiles and Togata smiles back.
''Although I'm surprised that it hasn't been broken into all these years''. Seiko points points out.
''Yeah...It's almost in too good of a condition''. Okarun comments.
''Well, onward shall we?''. Tick says.
Kinta holds himself. ''Eh ehm. Yeah, uh… you sure you wanna go in there?''.
''We have to''. Togata replies.
They push open the door. Dust swirls in the stale air. Scattered belongings lay untouched since their vacation, eleven years ago.
''Ewoo damn this house is dwusty!''. Jiji jokes.
Togata looks at the group. ''Spread out. Look for something''.
''Something like what?''. Aira replies.
''A journal...My father used to keep one, if there's anything he'd want me to know it would be in there''. Togata says.
Jiji grins, trying to lighten the mood. ''Oooooh, My bets are on that you're an alien''. He says as he starts making those cheesy 80s sci-fi sounds.
''We will find out soon enough''. Tick replies.
The group splits up, searching the old house. After some time, Togata finds the journal.
''Guys! Over here!''. Togata shouts out.
They gather around as he flips through the pages.
Engineering ideas, family notes, then, something strange.
Togata reads aloud:
''Togata, my boy, you don't know the truth about yourself. When you were born, we sealed a part of you away. We just wanted you to live a normal life. It's part of the reason you wear glasses. Haha''.
The room falls silent.
Then, the next sentence:
''The truth is… you're not our son''.
Everyone freezes.
Togata grips the journal tighter, his eyes locked onto the words.
''WHAAAT!?''. Everyone shouts.
''No way!''. Jiji shouts.
''Like huh!?''. Aira says.
Togata freezes as his breath hitches.
''Kid you ok?''. Seiko asks.
''Well this is an unexpected turn of events''. Kinta comments.
''Ha! The kid ain't their kid!?''. Turbo Granny laughs mockingly.
Momo looks at Turbo Granny as she kicks her across the room.
''No! This is false!''. Tick calls out.
''How do you know?''. Okarun asks.
''Because in the young master's memories I can see the day he came into this world as a precious infant! His mother holding him in hand as she smiles happily! This is a lie!''. Tick says.
''How do you know?''. Momo asks.
''Well I ehm, sometimes watch it like home videos''. Tick says.
Togata smiles but sighs as he realizes Tick is right. ''Yeah, I'm sure this is false, it's been tampered with''.
Then a laugh.
A cold, maniacal laugh echoes through the house. It crawls up the walls, slips into their ears, taunting them.
''You should have seen the look on your faces! Especially the blue one!''. A voice calls out laughing maniacally.
Granny Seiko lights a cigarette unbothered. ''I figured your old home might be haunted. It's been left for dead for over a decade, no wonder no one has come in here''.
The voice sneers, dripping with amusement. ''I've been waiting years for this knowing someone would come back HAHA! Miss Mama and Papa, little boy?''.
''The spirit tampered with the journal!''. Tick says.
''Where's the real one?''. Togata asks calmly but focused.
''Psh, that's bold, you pissed? Like I'd tell ya''. The spirit says.
''I have ta admit, that was a good one''. Turbo Granny says.
''I'll ask again, where is it?''. Togata asks.
''Don't make us kick your ass''. Momo says.
''Not like we weren't going to anyway''. Aira says transforming.
''This ain't your house, leave''. Okarun says transforming as well.
''Go kick rocks ya bastards this is my house!''. The spirit shouts.
Togata cracks his neck calmly. ''Ok...''.
Just then the house shifts.
The walls tremble, the floor twists beneath them, and the group is separated into different rooms.
Momo struggles to keep her footing. ''Ugh I knew it! Don't think this will stop us from kicking your!.....''.
Suddenly each of them is alone.
''Ugh hate these damn tricks''. Seiko says as she looks down to see Turbo Granny by her side.
''Space Manipulation, this bastard must have been here a while hasn't he?''. Turbo granny
Seiko looks around to see Momo's body lying there on the floor lifeless as blood runs from it.
They stare for a while before speaking.
''Psh, Bullshit''. Turbo Granny and Seiko say.
''This the best you got, weak ass spirit''. Turbo Granny says.
''Visions, and you're tryna crush my spirit, classic Amanojaku energy, although you could have been more subtle''. Seiko says as she swings her bat around her other shoulder.
''You read my heart huh? Yeah, I'm a spirit medium ya bastard''. Seiko says as she smokes her cigarette. ''So you know my fear is losing her? But what you don't know is that my granddaughter ain't no weakling she won't go down that easy! And for pissing me off you're about to meet your maker''. Seiko says.
Suddenly the body wakes up and stares at them.
''Oh yeah? Well then I'll just have to kill you then! You won't hit you're precious granddaughter will ya?!''. The Spirit shouts as the fake Momo runs towards them.
''Uh huh''. Turbo Granny says.
''That ain't my granddaughter ya bastard! Nessie!''. Seiko shouts as she smacks it with the bat right in the face.
Meanwhile with Kinta we see him standing alone. ''AHH! We've been separated!''.
He looks around. ''And without my great Kinta I'm vulnerable! Why did the spirit have to be a guy!?''.
Suddenly he too is thrown into a vision where he sees Momo, Aira and Vamola all there which scares him.
''AHHH!...''. Kinta shouts but then he notices them. ''Oh...Ladies, eh ehm''.
They turn towards him and walk forward.
Kinta combs his hair. ''How fortunate you are to have found me, do not worry, I will protect you, and of course you can reward me with a few kisses''.
The girls come even closer inches from him.
''Kinta...''. They all chant as they stare at him all touching him.
''Woah, woah, ladies, calm down, there's enough of me to go around''. Kinta says proudly.
Suddenly he turns to the side.
''AHHH! They must have finally realizes my charms!''. Kinta squeals to himself.
''You're useless!''. Momo shouts.
''You damn pervert!''. Aira shouts.
''I hate you, you weakling!''. Vamola shouts.
But Kinta just squeals and blushes even more. ''Oh!?''.
They insult him more
''Ah! I'm finally getting the attention I deserve from three beautiful women!''. Kinta shouts in joy.
An old man's head pop's out of the side of the room as he watches. ''What is wrong with this kid?''.
He says as he sees Kinta enjoying the attention.
''Gonna have to up the ante!''. The man says as he disappears back into the wall.
Suddenly the vision changes as Togata, Okarun and Jiji appear in front of him as they stare him down.
''Oh my, my subordinates welcome...''. Kinta says as he composes himself.
''Kinta you loser, no wonder girls don't talk to you''. Okarun says.
''Damn ugly bastard''. Jiji says.
''You good for nothing idiot''. Togata says.
Kinta doesn't flinch but he adjusts his glasses. ''I see, this must be some sort of trickery, the guys adore me they would never say such things! I am their leader!''.
''Come out you daft spirit! I will deal with you myself!''. Kinta declares.
''To hell with ya! What the heck is wrong with you kid!?''. The spirit shouts irritated.
''Hmmph! I see my intellect has angered you, I will not fall for your cheap tricks!''. Kinta says.
''Die''. The spirit says.
''Huh?''. Kinta asks.
Suddenly the fake versions of the boys raise their arms to hit Kinta.
''Oh my''. Kinta shouts as he screams running as they chase after him.
Kinta trips as they stand in front of him ready to attack.
''I'm going all out!''. Okarun's voice shouts from outside the wall as he bursts in smashing the copies into the wall breaking it as well.
Momo comes out of the other side. ''Okarun? Sakata?''.
''Yo Momo-chan, just found Sakata over here and decided to help out''. Okarun says.
Kinta quickly gets up from the ground and dusts himself off. ''I did not need your assistance but luckily you came because I do not know what I would have done to those cheap copies for attempting to play with my feelings! How dare he pretend to be beautiful women!''.
''So you had some weird visions too?''. Okarun asks.
''Yeah same here, must be an Amanojaku, they're a spirit that reads people's hearts and plays with their feelings tryna show them their worst fear''. Momo says.
''Well then it is not a very good spirit because I was enjoying the first one!''. Kinta says.
''Uh huh''. Momo says. ''C'mon let's go find the others.
In another room Togata stands with Tick as he sees his parents in front of him, bodies mangled with worms coming out of them as they walk towards him and stare him straight in the face.
''You're not our son''. His father says.
''You're a disappointment''. His mother says again. ''I regret ever having you!''.
Togata just stands there un-amused as he transforms into reaper mode. ''Ya done bro?''.
The copies try to attack but Togata immediately slices both their necks as they disappear.
''You could at least make them more realistic!''. Tick says. ''His father's glasses were not cracked before!''.
''I know right''. Togata says nonchalantly.
''You bastard, you'll never find it! After I kill all your friends I'm gonna watch you suffer!''. The spirit says.
''Oh you're gonna give me that journal, the real one this time''. Togata says pissed.
''Make me''. The spirit says.
''Tick, kick this bastard out of our house''. Togata says.
''With pleasure!''. Tick says as he enters into the walls and they twist and turn and the house turns back to normal, everyone stands in together in the room they were before.
''Evil gun!''. Suddenly Jiji appears looking at everyone.
''Togata?''. Jiji says confused still looking around
''Hey kid''. Seiko says.
''Yo peeps''. Togata says raising a peace sign with his fingers.
''Where's Tick''. Okarun asks.
''Dealing with the bastard''. Togata says as he points to the walls.
The house echoes with the sounds of Tick and the spirit struggling and fighting, they hear punching and kicking sounds as the house shakes violently.
''Take that! And that! Flying roundhouse kick!''. Tick shouts as he beats up the spirit.
''Yeah Tick kick his ass!''. Seiko, Momo and Aira shout.
Vamola mimics punching the air.
''Ohhhh It's a spirit brawl!''. Jiji jokes.
''HI-YAH!''. Tick shouts as he flies out of the wall kicking an old man out with him.
Tick lands gracefully as the old man lands on his face.
''Great work Ticky''. Togata says.
''It was my pleasure young master, this bastard was blaspheming the name of your precious parents!''. Tick says angrily.
Togata walks over as he steps on the spirit and wraps his scythe head around it's neck ready to slice.
''So what did you say about not giving me the journal? Oh yea, I should make you...I think I will''. Togata says.
The spirit laughs. ''You think I'm scared!? If you kill me you will never get it back!''.
''Oh yeah?''. Seiko says as she comes closer and draws a circle. ''Step back kid''.
Togata steps back as Seiko lights the circle engulfing the spirit in flames as it screams.
''What are you doing!? Won't that just kill it!?''. Momo shouts.
''He will but not quickly. Not with the weak talisman that I used, he'll just keep burning and burning''. Seiko says with a smile. ''So you gonna talk?''.
''I will I will! Stop please I beg you!''. The spirit shouts in pain.
Seiko destroys the circle breaking the barrier as the spirit throws out a book.
''If this isn't the real one we'll just keep ya burning and leave''. Togata says.
''It's the real one I swear!''. The spirit shouts.
''How can we even trust it!?''. Aira asks.
''This...Is my father's signature...It's the real thing''. Togata says with a smile as he looks at the front of the book.
Togata walks over to it.
''Have mercy!''. The spirit shouts.
''I'm feeling generous so I won't kill ya, but G-ma will''. Togata says.
Seiko places a stronger talisman as the spirit burns and disappears. ''Well that's done''.
''Psh, weakling''. Turbo Granny says.
''So Togata read it''. Jiji says as everyone de-transforms.
''Yeah what does it say?''. Okarun asks.
Togata de-transforms as he holds the book staring at it then opens it and begins reading.
Togata takes a breath. ''Lets...Read it at your place Momo''.
''HUH!?''. Everyone shouts.
''Oh c'mon who cares!''. Aira shouts. ''Just read the damn thing''.
''No! We will do as the young master wishes!''. Tick says.
''Oh bro the suspense!''. Jiji says.
''Suspense!''. Vamola repeats.
