Miyu composes herself as she looks at him and smiles. ''At least I was right about one thing, you are well off''.
''Guess so''. Togata replies with a laugh. ''And what about you miss Miyu...What could have caused us to cross paths tonight?''.
''Business meeting, Friday night drinks...Annoying boss, you know...''. Miyu replies.
''Yeah I get that minus the drinks part''. Togata says with a smile.
''I know you do...It's weird...Talking with a sixteen year old has been more engaging that speaking with any multi-millionaire investor I've ever met''. Miyu jokes.
''I guess it's just the working man in me, I understand the grind as they say''. Togata jokes.
Miyu laughs as she looks outside the window. ''Working so young...Must be horrible, I would give anything to go back to my teenage years, the late nights the lack of freetime''.
''You get used to it, It's fine, coffee exists for a reason''. Togata replies.
Miyu laughs harder as she holds her stomach.
''So you'd want to become a teenager again, but what about your daughter?''. Togata asks.
Miyu is surprised. ''How did you...''.
''You mentioned it earlier''. Togata says cutting her off.
''Oh...My daughter...She's the reason I do all of this you know...I could never leave her, I guess I didn't think it through''. Miyu says.
''What's her name? How old is she?''. Togata asks.
''She's eight and her name is Hinano. It means sunflower child, her dad picked it''. Miyu says with a smile.
''It's a beautiful name''. Togata replies.
''Thank you''. Miyu says.
''So we will probably meet little Hinano sleeping, and maybe I'll get to meet mister Suzuki back your home''. Togata says with a smile.
''Yeah...''. Miyu says as she starts sniffling and then crying.
''Huh?...Miss Miyu?''. Togata asks.
She doesn't listen as she keeps crying.
''Uhhh...I'm so sorry is it something I said?!''. Togata asks worried.
''No it's alright you didn't know!''. Miyu replies still crying.
''Damn it, what do I do?!''. Togata thinks to himself.
He quickly switches on his phone and messages Tick on his phone. ''Tick if a lady is crying what would a gentleman do!?''.
He watches the phone as Tick replies. ''Oh my!''.
''I'm serious Tick, C'mon answer!''. Togata texts back.
''Well a gentleman would comfort her with a hug, you must make them feel safe! And make sure to clean them up by offering tissues. If a lady cries at all in front of a man it usually means they feel vulnerable, you must restore their dignity without judging, and quietly support them''. Tick texts back.
''Woah...That's good...''. Togata thinks to himself.
''Thanks Tick, be home soon don't wait up''. Togata texts back.
''Should I prepare a bed for the lady?''. Tick texts.
''No''. Togata texts back sighing before switching off his phone.

He sits there watching Miyu cry as he scoots over carefully before putting an arm around her.
She notices as she stops crying for a bit confused.
''I'm sorry miss it's alright to...let it out...''. Togata says. ''Although if it isn't too much to ask you can share, it should make you feel better''.
''You're as red as a tomato. It looks like this is your first time hugging a female''. Miyu replies laughing.
Togata is slightly embarrassed as he looks away. ''I literally just asked for advice from someone''.
Miyu laughs even harder. ''I'm sorry, I don't know what's wrong with me today, I guess the drinks are still in my system, crying in front of you like this isn't presentable''.
''It's alright, I don't mind''. Togata replies with a smile as he hands her a handkerchief.
''Thank you, you're such a gentleman for your age''. Miyu jokes cleaning her face.
''I try...Don't mention it, let's change the subject''. Togata says.
''No it's okay, it's just...My husband and my son died years ago and my daughter has been in the hospital for months''. Miyu sighs.
''Oooofff''. Togata sighs looking away.
''Way to play it off''. Miyu laughs.
''I'm sorry, that's just a lot...But I understand how hard it is to lose someone''. Togata replies.
''I know you do...I heard you lost your parents, I'm sorry''. Miyu says.
''It's okay, it happened a long time ago, but...Your daughter, what's she sick with, if I may know?''. Togata asks.
''That's the problem, the doctors can't seem to figure it out and all these tests are draining my account, I have to pay tonight or they may stop treating her''. Miyu replies.
''How are you....going to pay?''. Togata asks.
''I guess I'll take a loan from my boss, I don't know''. Miyu sighs.
''I see...Well then if you'll allow me, I'd like to become your creditor''. Togata replies.
''What? No, we just met I can't!''. Miyu says.
''No I insist, I don't mean to brag or anything but I do a lot of charity work, just...Take it as the philanthropist in me, I want to help, by the way it's better taking money from a train buddy than from a boss you hate''. Togata jokes.
''....No I can't really I just feel like I'm taking advantage of you that way, especially since we just so happened to meet''. Miyu replies.
''Exactly, I don't believe in coincidences, everything happens for a reason, so if you want we can set up a payment plan and everything. What do you say?''. Togata asks.
''I don't know''. Miyu says.
''Well I won't stop asking until you say yes''. Togata replies.
''Really?''. Miyu asks smiling.
''Yep''. Togata replies.
''I see. Well then, of course I accept your loan mister Toriyama''. Miyu replies.
''Please that was my father's name, I'm not old enough for that yet''. Togata sighs.
The train stops as the doors open.
Miyu laughs as she stands up to pat his head. ''My son would have been a few years younger than you, I wish he had turned out to be such a responsible young man''.
''I appreciate the compliment, shall we?''. Togata asks.
''Of course, we're in the home stretch''. Miyu replies.
The two leave the train station as Togata looks at the sky then at Miyu's head.
''No timer, so does it mean she's safe or has an undetermined fate of some sort...''. Togata thinks to himself as he looks down. ''Well it doesn't matter, I'm glad I stepped in...She has a daughter who would have died without her, so by saving miss Miyu I saved both of them''.
''Here we are, my apartment is just up ahead''. Miyu says as they approach a building.
''Okay let me go inside and pay you back for tonight, it's the least I could do, infact better idea, come inside I'll make you some tea and we can discuss the payment plan, what do you say, I mean I don't think you have a curfew little man?''. Miyu jokes.
''That sounds great, thank you''. Togata replies.
''Don't mention it, let's go''. Miyu says happily going forward.
Togata walks behind her as he thinks. ''I guess I'm doing what dad said, making them proud...''. Togata says smiling as he stretches. ''Good work Togata''.
Suddenly Togata sees a tall dark figure standing resting on the building, almost equal to it's size.
''Good work indeed...''. The shadow says before lunging from it's spot towards Miyu.
Togata immediately reacts transforming into his reaper form he uses his scythe to block the attack as he gets a look at the attacker.
''You continue to piss me off boy!''. Death sighs as he and Togata lock scythes.
Miyu falls to the ground just in front as she watches. ''Huh? HUH! AHHH! What is that! Togata....What are you wearing? What's going on!?''.
''I'll explain later miss Miyu, call it a part time job of sorts''. Togata sighs as he breaks the lock standing in front of her.
''You always seem to be just where you shouldn't''. Death sighs.
''Nah boss man, I'm just where I need to be. Thought we could end this night quietly but shit's hit the fan of course''. Togata sighs rolling his scythe. ''Tick, Tick, Tick''.
Tick suddenly appears with a bow. ''Finally young master I was waiting for you! Where have you been?''.
Togata points at Death nonchalantly.
''Oh...''. Tick sighs as he looks around to see miss Miyu on the ground. ''Oh...I understand completely''.
''Make sure she's safe''. Togata says.
''Of course young master''. Tick replies as he flies over to Miyu. ''Greetings miss, I shall be your guardian for tonight''.
''...A...A GHOST!? AHHHH!''. Miss Miyu screams.
Tick covers his ears. ''Well...It's been a bit since I've seen that reaction''.
Tick flies back over to Togata hiding behind him.
''Per chance young master how do you plan do deal with him?''. Tick asks.
''I'm not....''. Togata replies. ''Plan B''.
''I see, be careful young master''. Tick sighs.
''Let's see if we can negotiate first''. Togata says turning to Death. ''So now that I've stopped ya, will you leave her alone boss man?''.
''That's not how it works''. Death replies angrily as he takes a swing.
''Ouch...Well then plan B it is...I challenge ya...''. Togata replies.
Death stops mid-swing as his grin grows and he laughs maniacally.
''Tick...You know what to do...And make it quick...I'm begging ya''. Togata sighs.
''I shall young master!''. Tick replies flying away quickly.
Togata de-transforms as he faces Miyu on the floor behind him. ''Miss Miyu, sorry about tonight, we both can't catch a break huh? But it was nice meeting you''. Togata says with a smile.
Death and Togata turn into a wisp as they disappear, leaving Miyu alone watching.
''What?''. Miyu asks confused.
