Among the four of them, they were all science students, except for Eli Thorne. Charles Lothkorv was in class one while Roman Vale and Thoma were in class two. Because Eli Thorne was an arts student, he was in class twelve, which was right at the end.
Class twelve was nearer to the right staircase entrance, so Eli Thorne left them halfway.
But before he could take two steps, someone pounced on him from behind, giving him a scare.
Turning his head, he saw that it was Marcus, and his heart returned to his chest.
"What are you doing?" Eli Thorne asked him.
Marcus hung his arm around Eli Thorne's shoulder with familiarity and turned to glance behind them. He countered, "Were you with Roman Vale earlier? Along with Charles Lothkorv and Thoma?"
