Chapter 125 - Chapter 125: Creating the Flying Thunder God Kunai and Meeting the Minato Team

Watching Yunyan-chan disappear with the dried fish in her arms, Ling also prepared to get up for breakfast, heating the bento made by her Shadow Clone last night in the microwave before washing up.

Now that the chakra metal had arrived, she could try forging Flying Thunder God Kunai. This would allow her to accelerate her progress in learning the Flying Thunder God Technique.

Special Flying Thunder God Kunai require chakra metal to forge. In the initial stages of practicing the Flying Thunder God Technique, they can enhance one's perception of the spatial-temporal mark on the Flying Thunder God Kunai.

They can also speed up the stable engraving time of the Flying Thunder God Mark. This method was developed by Minato when he was researching the Second Hokage's Flying Thunder God Technique.

Having a shortcut is convenient. Although this is a form of skipping lessons and requires Make-up classes later, the initial progress from zero to one makes Make-up classes much simpler later on.

After breakfast, Ling took about five hundred grams of chakra metal ingots and prepared to find a Ninja tool shop to forge the prototype of the Flying Thunder God Kunai.

This much chakra metal was enough for Ling to forge ten Flying Thunder God Kunai. Flying Thunder God Kunai have the effect of strengthening one's own resonance with the Flying Thunder God Mark.

One of Minato's improvements to the Flying Thunder God Technique was in enhancing the perception and resonance of the Flying Thunder God Mark. The faster one perceives the Flying Thunder God Mark, the faster the technique can be activated. (Second setting)

Subsequent Flying Thunder God formations and a series of other Flying Thunder God related operations are all based on strengthening the perception of the Flying Thunder God Mark and accelerating the synchronized resonance.

The Flying Thunder God Technique can be said to be the sum of the principles of the Body Replacement Technique and the Summoning Technique. Senju Tobirama, you can doubt his character, but you can never doubt his genius. (Setting: Body Replacement Technique involves space-time)

She arrived at the Ninja tool shop opened by the Uchiha Clan. The owner was an uncle named Uchiha Akahiko, who specialized in doing business with the Uchiha.

"Uncle Akahiko, please help me forge ten Kunai using this chakra metal. Here's the blueprint."

Ling had already designed the style of her Flying Thunder God Kunai. The Kunai blade was longer and thicker, mainly because with Ling's monstrous strength, if it were too thin, it would easily break.

"Oh, Ling, your Kunai are quite expensive to make. They even need to be mixed with chakra metal, and you're forging ten at once. Aren't you a sword user?"

Akahiko wasn't surprised by this Kunai style; he just didn't expect anyone to use chakra metal to forge a large number of Kunai.

"It's for learning the Flying Thunder God Technique. With Flying Thunder God Kunai made of chakra metal, the learning speed is faster."

Ling didn't mind her learning the Flying Thunder God Technique being known by others. Doing so could also increase her popularity and prestige.

"Alright, I'll have them ready for you in half a month. You can trust my craftsmanship. If you learn the Flying Thunder God Technique, it will bring honor to the Uchiha."

Uncle Akahiko took the blueprint Ling had drawn and the chakra metal, then took out a metal token engraved with the Uchiha Clan crest, the words 'Akahiko', and a serial number, and handed it to Ling.

"Then I'll trouble Uncle Akahiko. How much will it cost?" Ling put away the token and looked at Akahiko, who didn't seem to intend to state a price, asking with some confusion.

"No charge. Consider it a small help from me, Uncle. The positive changes in the Uchiha Clan these days are all thanks to you."

Although Uchiha Akahiko had no Ninja talent, he was still quite prestigious in the Uchiha Clan, as ninety percent of the Uchiha's Ninja tools were forged by him.

"Alright then, thank you, Uncle Akahiko." Ling didn't decline; this could be considered accepting his goodwill.

Having used five hundred grams of chakra metal, Ling now only had a little over a pound of chakra metal left. She decided to save it for forging other items in the future.

chakra metal mines are scarce in the Land of Fire, mainly relying on imports from the Land of Earth and the Land of Lightning. With the shadow of war looming, there was no longer any open trade of chakra metal, except for a small amount of smuggling.

However, during the early stages of the war, prices soared, and Ling's second-hand Ninja tools sold for a good amount of money. Including poisons and Soldier Pill, she sold a total of over three million Ryo.

On her way home, Ling encountered Obito and his two teammates eating takoyaki. Minato Namikaze was still in the Amegakure, helping Yahiko and his group develop, and coordinating support for Danzo.

So, Obito and his two teammates could only take on some D-rank missions in the Village. However, it wasn't long before they unanimously decided that they could rest from D-rank missions for a while.

"Oh, Ling, I haven't seen you in a long time! How are you doing in the Anbu?"

Obito, having just lost an argument with Kakashi, was muttering to himself and walking ahead, so he was the first to notice Uchiha Ling in her skirt.

"Obito-Nii, Rin-elder sister, Kakashi-senior, it's been a while! I'm doing quite well in the Anbu, pretty much the same as you guys doing missions in the Village."

Ling's ability to slack off was top-notch. Ever since she discovered the Anbu's strength level, she had been sending her physical Shadow Clone to work.

She didn't have to worry about anything going wrong. Every day was just on-duty guard duty or delivering orders to the Third Hokage, which was incredibly simple.

"Ling, do you know when Minato-sensei will be back? We're so sick of doing D-rank missions."

Obito was almost broke now, which was why he had no choice but to take D-rank missions. He somewhat missed the time when they used to do C-rank missions.

"Ah ha, Minato-senior should be back soon. You guys should seize this time to train and prepare for missions outside."

Ling knew that the current Obito hadn't even learned Chakra control techniques like tree climbing. The main reason was that he couldn't calm down to practice.

"That's right, a certain dead last, besides an unskillful Great Fireball Technique, doesn't know any other Ninjutsu."

Kakashi gave a disdainful glance at Obito, who was already extremely mortified. Ling felt that this was actually Kakashi's way of showing concern.

"Damn it, I just don't have as much talent as you! If I had your talent, I'd be even stronger than you!"

Obito was quite unconvinced. He just thought about the Ninjutsu he couldn't learn even after half a day, while others learned it just by watching once, so he felt a bit unbalanced.

"Tch, do you want to erase my hard work in building my foundation just by calling me a genius? You're nothing special. Your foundation is poor, and you don't know how to make up for it. You want to reach the sky in one go? Look at yourself."

Kakashi was even more disdainful. Eighty percent of his talent came from the solid foundation he laid in his youth.

"Um, Obito-Nii, you really should build a good foundation. You still need to master tree climbing and water walking. Once you're proficient, learning Ninjutsu will be twice as effective."

"Obito, my foundation isn't good either. Let's practice together." Rin Nohara's words were indeed comforting. Her Chakra control talent was quite good; she had already learned tree climbing and was still a bit short on water walking.

"Ling, you're so amazing, could you give me some pointers? I want to become stronger." Obito clenched his fists. He knew his anger was baseless; he just hated his own incompetence.

"Ling, I also want to ask for your guidance in Medical Ninjutsu. Is that alright?" Rin had been learning the basics of Medical Ninjutsu during this time and hadn't even learned basic healing and hemostasis techniques yet.
