Returning from her afternoon exam, Ariana saw a familiar figure under the flower arch near the stadium. It was Kian, locked in a brotherly hug with Karim. She moved closer, curiosity guiding her steps.
"...thanks for everything, man," Karim was saying, his voice thick with emotion. "For being our go-between. Jane and I wouldn't have made it without you." đ€
The final piece of the puzzle clicked into place. The conversations, the meetings;it was all about Karim and Jane. Jane's description fit Karim perfectly, from the blonde hair to the wealthy background. A flush of shame warmed Ariana's cheeks. She had woven a tapestry of doubt from mere threads, suspecting Kian without cause.
Her phone chimed, pulling her from her thoughts. It was a message from Kian.
"Going to a nearby restaurant with Karim to celebrate him and Jane officially being together. I'll introduce you to her soon! He's treating me to food and drinks tonight. Tomorrow's our final exam, and we'll meet up after that."
Understanding everything now, Ariana typed her reply with a light heart.
"I actually met Jane by the pond yesterday. She's lovely, and I'm happy for them. I did wonder, though;aren't they from different religious backgrounds? Just be safe tonight and don't drive if you drink! We'll meet soon." đ
Kian's response was swift. "Yes, Karim is Muslim and Jane is Christian, but they don't see it as a barrier. Jane even offered to convert, but Karim told her it wasn't necessary. Both their families are supportive. Now, you should focus on your exam. Get some good rest."
Ariana smiled, her heart feeling full. "Thanks for explaining. I was just curious. You're right, what matters is true love and trust. Good luck on your exam too. Good night."
She spent a final half-hour reviewing Business Law before surrendering to the exhaustion of the long day, her mind finally at peace. đ

The last day of exams dawned. Ariana woke early, a sense of culmination in the air. Her final test, Business Law, began at 8:30 AM. She knew Kian was also finishing today, with two demanding architecture exams.
After getting ready, she left her dorm, the morning sun feeling like a promise. She sent a quick message to Kian: "Good luck on your finals today! We're almost there." Then, she walked toward the exam hall, not with the weight of anxiety, but with the light, happy step of someone who had overcome more than just academic challenges. đ
