Chapter 1 - rebellion and rebirth

Agh… I groaned as I slid off the bed and closed my curtain. "Morning, sunshine." I looked at the empty space next to my bed. Oh yea, I forgot, I'm a loser. I fixed my hair and went to the bathroom and looked at my clear face. I've never really been ugly, but my personality makes girls run. I laughed at myself. Life is crap. Stupid people, stupid ideals. I looked at my untouched toothbrush and sighed, not being in the mood to brush my teeth. It's not like I leave the house anyway.

I stepped out of the bathroom and looked at my PC, then sat in my gaming chair and turned my PC on and sighed. "Okay, guess I'm playing Eternal again. Cool," I said in my dry tone. Should I start over? I looked at my maxed character. It's boring. Guess I will.

I deleted my game save and began modding a new character who is modded after me. What should I name him? Narctot Danar sounds decent. I added his backstory:

A poor kid who grew up on the streets of Ishmau, the poorest kingdom of the 9 known kingdoms. The human civilization split into four kingdoms: the kingdom of Vaelinthar, the one ruled by the Mad King; Eryndel, more of a background kingdom, never was important in the story I thought, neither was the rest of the human civilization; next the elf kingdom Solvantar ruled by their queen; the Dark Empire ruled by the dark elf queen—apparently they were sisters or something, at least the plot books I read were hinting at it but who cares; Thornhold is the kingdom of the dwarfs; and most importantly the Empire ruled by the Emperor and his wife. They rule as one, and they let anyone stay in the walls of the kingdom because they believe in equality—or that's what they say. We all know nothing that is too good is true. The Empire kidnaps the beast folk they let in to "learn more about them." Honestly, I hated and loved the Empire.

"Why was I playing this game?" I thought as I leaned back and closed my eyes for a second. Ishmau, the kingdom under the rule of the Empire—I chose it because it's the hardest and best place to grow up if you want to be strong. And for a gamer who's played this over eight times, it's pretty easy.

"Ding." I heard it and sat up and looked at my screen. I didn't even get in the game yet. There should be no notifications, and I have them turned off. I looked at my headset on the side—and my headset is in. What the heck is going on?

I clicked on the notification and got hit with a wave of purple light so bright my eyes began to water, and I heard a voice say, "You choose rebellion, so you have chosen death. You were meant to be great. If you won't be in this world, maybe I—" and it cut out. But I could guess the next words as I woke up in a dirty room, a hole in the roof where moonlight was pouring through.

"What the heck is going on?" I fixed my hair and found a much bigger arm. "Huh?"

I stood up and walked to where the roof was leaking, and I looked at my reflection— and I was the character I had just made. I screamed and fell back, hitting my head, and I awoke next.

Chapter lol. See ya next chapter, and I'll try to stay consistent. Peace. Also I know this was short but call it an introduction 😭
