Chapter 43 - THE SUPREME ANOMALY

A shape formed ahead of Kael.

Not a person.

Not a creature.

Not a god.

But an error.

A living contradiction.

A being that wasn't supposed to be possible, not even to the Absolute Scribe. A being with no past, no future, no identity.

The Supreme Anomaly.

Its voice was static and distortion:

"YOU

SHOULD

NOT

BE

HERE."

Kael tilted his head.

"I've heard that too many times."

The Anomaly stretched its arms, which weren't arms but collapsing-dimensions in the shape of arms. Each movement destroyed and recreated the blank realm millions of times.

It was something above all cosmology.

Something that could erase authors.

Something even the Absolute Scribe feared.

Kael smiled.

He wanted to test his abilities.

The Supreme Anomaly unmade the entire space around Kael.

Everything collapsed into pure non-existence.

Kael breathed out.

Just one breath.

And non-existence reformatted itself into a stable shape.

Then Kael spoke the words of a new ability:

EX ANTE CREATION

"Creation before Creation."

This power allows Kael to create something before the idea of creation existed.

Meaning the Anomaly cannot stop him.

Kael snapped his fingers.

A shockwave spread.

Not forward.

Not backward.

Not sideways.

But in undefined directions, resurrecting what was never created.

The Supreme Anomaly froze.

"THIS POWER IS NOT CLASSIFIED

Kael corrected it:

"It's not classified because it never existed until I got bored."

Kael extended one finger.

Reality folded around it like it was frightened.

1. Narrative Collapse

Erases the "story structure" of a being.

If they rely on any concept of identity, continuity, destiny, or plot they cease.

The Supreme Anomaly shook violently.

Its voice cracked:

"YOU THRIVE… WHERE NOTHING… SHOULD THRIVE…"

Kael stepped forward.

"Let me test the real one."

Kael placed his hand over the blank space.

And said:

"I rewrite the anomaly as something harmless."

The universe tilted.

Rules buckled.

The anomaly's impossible form unraveled, shrinking, shrinking, shrinking until it became a small floating spark, harmless as a firefly.

Kael caught it in his palm.

"Good. That works."

He pocketed the little spark like it was nothing.

The Unwritten Expanse calmed.

Every impossible layer bowed to him.

Kael looked into the endless white void.
