Chapter 910 - The Universe He Refused To Rule

Before creation…

There was silence.

Before stars.

Before worlds.

Before time itself learned how to move.

There was only the endless existence of Kael Veyris.

The Architect of Existence stood within the Infinite Library.

Surrounded by endless shelves.

Endless stories.

Endless possibilities.

Before him floated an empty book.

Not a forgotten story.

Not a lost timeline.

Not a universe that had already existed.

A blank page.

A beginning.

Kael placed his hand upon it.

"For once…"

"I will not write the ending."

The Universe Tree beside him moved.

Ancient branches stretching across infinity.

"Creator."

"You will not guide this creation?"

Kael shook his head.

"No."

"I will create it."

"But I will not control it."

The Universe Tree became silent.

A rare thing.

Because even an ancient being like the Universe Tree understood.

Kael Veyris was choosing something unusual.

Freedom.

The Architect lifted his hand.

A spark appeared.

A tiny point of existence.

Then.

Expansion.

Space formed.

Time began flowing.

Dimensions unfolded.

Laws of physics appeared.

Stars ignited.

Galaxies were born.

Worlds formed.

Oceans filled planets.

Life emerged.

Within moments…

An entire universe existed.

A universe untouched by previous stories.

A universe without Kael's name written into its history.

A universe where nobody knew their creator existed.

Kael looked at the newborn reality.

Beautiful.

But this time…

He did not shape every detail.

He did not decide who would become powerful.

He did not choose who would win.

He did not remove suffering.

He did not create perfect beings.

Instead…

He stepped away.

The first civilizations rose.

Millions of years passed.

On a distant planet…

Humans built their first cities.

They looked toward the stars.

Wondering what existed beyond their world.

They created kingdoms.

They created legends.

They created heroes.

On another world…

A young warrior awakened a mysterious power.

Not because Kael gave it to him.

But because he earned it.

On another planet…

A child born without strength trained every day.

Eventually becoming the greatest guardian their civilization had ever known.

And among the stars…

New gods appeared.

Not created as servants.

Not created as rulers.

They were born from the universe itself.

Some controlled storms.

Some protected life.

Some explored the unknown.

Some made mistakes.

They were not perfect.

They were real.

From far beyond the universe…

Kael watched.

Not as an emperor.

Not as a god.

Not as a ruler.

Just a spectator.

He sat beside the edge of reality.

A cup of tea beside him.

The same way he watched his Empire.

Quietly.

A new god appeared before a civilization.

The people worshipped him.

The god looked toward the heavens.

"I wonder..."

"Who created everything?"

Kael smiled faintly.

But he remained silent.

A hero fought against darkness.

A villain challenged the heavens.

A civilization reached the stars.

A new era began.

A thousand stories unfolded.

None of them written by him.

And that was what made them special.

Later…

Kael returned to his palace.

Ignisia was waiting.

"You created another universe."

Kael nodded.

"Yes."

Lilith looked curious.

"And what did you make?"

Kael smiled.

"Nothing."

Silence.

Nyx looked at him.

"Nothing?"

Kael nodded.

"I gave them a beginning."

"But the rest belongs to them."

Ashvattha smiled softly.

"You allowed them to surprise you."

"Yes."

Eldara looked toward the distant universe.

"That must be difficult."

Kael looked thoughtful.

"It is."

"Why?"

Asked Seraphina.

Kael answered quietly.

"Because knowing everything…"

"…means there are no surprises."

He looked back at the newborn universe.

"But when I do not interfere…"

"I get to witness something even I cannot create."

"A story that writes itself."

Far away…

The new universe continued.

New gods rose.

New civilizations formed.

New heroes appeared.

New legends were born.

And beyond everything…

The Architect watched.

Not controlling.

Not changing.

Not interfering.

Only observing.

Because sometimes…

The greatest gift a creator can give…

Is the freedom to create their own story.
