Chapter 912 - The Architect Beneath the Open Skyy y

For once…

Kael Veyris left the Infinite Library.

Not because there was a crisis.

Not because an enemy had appeared.

Not because reality was in danger.

Simply because he wanted to walk.

The gates of the Imperial Palace opened.

Beyond them stretched the endless lands of the Veyris Eternal Empire.

A place containing 102 races.

A place where countless civilizations lived beneath the protection of the Architect.

The sky above was unlike any ordinary sky.

It contained layers of realities.

Stars from distant universes shined beside floating continents.

World Trees reached upward, their branches touching dimensions beyond normal understanding.

Kael walked alone.

No throne.

No army.

No divine ceremony.

Just Kael.

The citizens noticed him almost immediately.

A group of humans stopped in the streets.

A family of Void Dragons lowered their heads respectfully.

A group of young Celestari children stared in amazement.

"The Emperor is walking through the city."

"Lord Kael is here."

"Really?"

Whispers spread.

But Kael simply smiled and continued walking.

He passed markets where different races traded.

A human blacksmith forged weapons capable of cutting dimensional barriers.

A dragon merchant sold ancient treasures from forgotten galaxies.

A Chronari scholar discussed timelines with an Aetherborn teacher.

A group of children from different races played together.

Kael stopped.

Watching them.

A small child noticed him.

"Are you the one who made everything?"

The child's parents immediately became nervous.

"Please forgive"

Kael raised a hand.

"It is alright."

He looked at the child.

"Yes."

The child looked amazed.

"Can you make anything?"

Kael smiled.

"Yes."

"Then why do you walk instead of flying?"

Kael looked around.

At the streets.

The people.

The life around him.

"Because sometimes…"

"The journey matters more than arriving."

The child thought about that.

Then nodded.

"That's cool."

Kael laughed softly.

Nearby

A familiar presence approached.

Aeon.

The dragon goddess walked beside him.

Her black-gray hair moved with the wind.

Her gray eyes observed the Empire calmly.

Her brown dragon horns reflected the sunlight.

Her black dress flowed behind her.

"You enjoy this."

Kael looked at her.

"Walking?"

"No."

She looked toward the citizens.

"Watching them live."

Kael nodded.

"Yes."

Aeon smiled slightly.

"Even after creating infinite universes…"

"You still enjoy a normal street."

Kael looked at the people around him.

"Because this is the reason I created them."

Aeon tilted her head.

"Not power?"

"No."

"Not control?"

"No."

"Not worship?"

Kael shook his head.

"Life."

The answer was simple.

But from the being who stood above countless realities…

It carried enormous weight.

Then

A loud voice echoed across the city.

"KAEL!"

Wukong landed nearby.

Holding food.

Again.

Aeon sighed.

"He always arrives at the strangest moments."

Wukong grinned.

"I heard there was a peaceful walk."

Kael looked at him.

"How?"

"I have my ways."

"You followed me."

"...Maybe."

Kael smiled.

The three continued walking.

The Architect.

The Ancient Dragon Goddess.

The Immortal Trickster.

Walking through an empire beyond imagination.

Above them…

The Universe Trees moved gently.

Their ancient voices whispered.

"The Creator walks among his creations."

"And the creations smile."

No battles.

No wars.

No enemies.

Just a peaceful day.

A rare moment where Kael Veyris was not the ruler of infinite existence.

He was simply someone enjoying a walk outside.
