\TUESDAY - AFTERNOON/
. . .
*Classes end.
[Ember] Cyan, I have to stay behind for a student council meeting.
[Ember] I have no idea when it will end, so, don't wait for me. You will be bored. I'll chat you later.
[Cyan] Alright.
. . .
[Cyan] What should I do? \thinks\ I guess it's time to buy those textbooks.
*Their college textbooks are annoying, because you can't buy them all in a single store. And most textbooks are sold outside campus.
*Cyan takes a quick snack at 7/11.
*He then thinks what book should he buy first.
*Cyan decides on the order of books he will buy.
*Cyan gets going. He starts to go to the furthest bookstore, isolated from the rest in comparison.
*This bookstore is the only one on the left direction outside of the university.
[Cyan] The lines are insane. \falls in line\
*Cyan buys the first textbook then moves to the next store, far away.
*Cyan arrives at the second bookstore and falls in line.
*Two random hands appear from behind and cover Cyan's eyes.
[Random Hands] Guess who?
[Cyan] \hears that high pitch voice, highly familiar these past days\ Hey, Ember.
[Ember] Wow! How did you know? \goes in front of Cyan\
[Cyan] Told you, your voice sounds like a pop punk queen.
[Ember] Hmm, I can't even surprise you huh?
[Cyan] Meeting over? How did you get here?
[Ember] Yeah. Meeting's over, the student council just passed by \points outside\
[Ember] They're going to eat snacks together. But then I saw you, and now I'm here.
[Cyan] Don't you need to be with them?
[Ember] \thinks\ Nah. They are so stiff to each other. \whispers\ They're bragging about all their academic achievements.
[Ember] It honestly feels like a contest.
[Cyan] You don't want to compete?
[Ember] There's nothing to win.
[Ember] Going with them for snacks without an adviser is sure to be suffocating.
[Cyan] Escape then?
[Ember] You know it! So, what are you doing?
[Cyan] Buying books. \points to a paper\
*It is a list Cyan made that contains all textbooks for this semester.
[Ember] Oh, yeah. I need to buy too. How many do you got so far? Let me join.
[Cyan] Just one. This is the second stop.
[Ember] I see. \ turns and asks for a line ticket number\
*She writes her school, major, what book, and shows her ID for student discount.
*She then falls in line.
*They buy books.
*After Ember's 2nd store.
[Cyan] \walking and sees Ember\ (Ember's holding 2 books.)
[Cyan] \takes Ember's 2 books and carry it himself\ I'll hold these.
[Ember] \shock\ Uhm, okay? Are you sure, we still have a lot more books to carry.
[Cyan] Yes.
*Along the way of their book hunt, Cyan had a thought.
[Cyan] Ember, I think going with the student council for free snacks might be worth it.
[Ember] It's not free though?
[Cyan] Are there boys in the student council?
[Ember] Yes?
[Cyan] Then you might get a free snack.
[Ember] \thinks\ That won't happen. I told them I have a boyfriend. \smirks\
[Cyan] Missed opportunities, I guess. \teases\
[Ember] Not an opportunity, it won't end with just snacks.
[Cyan] \smiles\ Maybe you could've gotten me a caramel latte.
[Ember] I'll buy you caramel latte myself. \grins\
[Cyan] \laughs\ I'm supposed to reject free drinks now too huh?
[Ember] It depends, are they buying me coffee too?
[Cyan] \laughs\
[Ember] \giggles\
*The conversation continues with random topics while walking.
*They buy books, until Cyan has 8 books for him and 7 books for Ember, 15 books in total, carried by Cyan.
[Ember] \stares at Cyan\ (Should I help?) (But, he doesn't seem to be struggling?) \thinks\
[Ember] Do you need help?
[Cyan] \notices\ (Oh, yeah. My hands are full.) \stares at Ember\
[Cyan] (I don't want her to carry books though.) \realizes\
[Cyan] Want to carry my backpack?
[Ember] Yes.
*They stop. Cyan gives his backpack to Ember.
[Ember] (It's light.) What's in here?
[Cyan] Open it.
[Ember] \opens\ (Water bottle and snacks?)
[Ember] What's in the water bottle?
[Cyan] Just water.
[Ember] \takes water bottle, opens it, and puts the straw in front of Cyan\
[Ember] You should drink. \grins\
*Cyan sips water while Ember is holding the bottle.
[Cyan] Thanks.
[Ember] \smiles\ No, thank you. \grins\
*They continued walking till they reach the last bookstore.
*Halfway through their walk.
[Ember] \sneaks a peek at Cyan\ (Cyan, are you sure about this? What are you thinking, Cyan?)
[Cyan] (Should I buy a suitcase? Maybe those hard-shell suitcases. Make sure it has good wheels.)
[Cyan] (Then, what size should I buy? Large ones? Nah, I'm not going on a vacation. Medium? Fits better. Should I also buy small?)
[Cyan] (Maybe I'll decide when I'm in the store. What about color? Do I go with classic gold or silver? Or maybe blue, red? Maybe not.)
[Cyan] (It's too bright. Something low key, maybe gray? or emerald green? or black?) \ponders\
*Cyan and Ember arrive at the last bookstore.
*Ember buys the last book.
[Cyan] \looks at the time\ It's pretty late. We should take a cab.
[Ember] . . . \thinks\ No.
[Cyan] Huh?
[Ember] . . . I like walking. \grins\
[Ember] \holds out her hand and asks Cyan\ Give me my books.
[Cyan] (Walking back with 16 books, huh? Pain. Do I have no choice but to give it to her?) \sighs\ (I feel like I lost.)
[Cyan] Okay. \transfers Ember's books back to her\ Then, let's walk back to your place.
*Walking by the streets, lit by street lights, traffic lights, cars, and actual traffic.
[Ember] \looks up to the sky\ (Tonight stars are pretty.) \stares back to Cyan\ (Maybe it's not just the stars.) \grins\
*Cyan and Ember continued talking, joking, laughing until they reach Ember's building.
[Cyan] Here we are. How are you holding up? \concern\
[Ember] \smiles\ I'm fine! I can't get carried all the time. \grins\
[Cyan] I should at least grab you take-out. Hang on. \turns\
[Ember] No need, Cyan. \smiles\ Besides, building has a visitor's curfew, they might not let you in.
[Cyan] Oh. Can't be helped then... Goodbye Ember! \smiles\
[Ember] \smiles\ Goodbye and thanks Cyan! Let's chat later after dinner.
[Cyan] Alright.
*Cyan and Ember went their separate ways.
*They cooked, ate dinner, and slept.
*They were too tired to chat, and had immediately fallen asleep upon lying on their beds.
