The One Piece world,
in the "Holy Land" of Mary Geoise, Chu Yang listened to the wails coming from outside his cell, his heart heavy.
Less than a month after transmigrating to this world, Chu Yang, now a teenager, was kidnapped by human traffickers and sold to the Sabaody Archipelago, then chosen by the Celestial Dragons to become a slave.
Damn, what bad luck!
Everyone else who transmigrates comes with a system, living a life of luxury, but he's about to have the "Heavenly Dragon's Hoof" branded on him.
This is definitely leaving behind a special mark.
The smell of burning meat in the air made Chu Yang extremely nervous. Even though he had been struggling in society for many years before transmigrating, he still couldn't remain calm.
In the cell next to Chu Yang's, there were three girls about his age. Compared to Chu Yang, they were much calmer, seemingly used to it all.
The three sisters had completely different hair colors.
The largest one had green hair, while the tall and slender one had brown hair.
The smallest but most imposing girl, exuding an aura of authority, had black hair.
"Kid, you're new here, right? Remember, if they take you out later, no matter what happens, you must hold back and not scream. Otherwise, if you anger those guys, you'll be in big trouble!"
The relatively petite black-haired girl among the three spoke seriously, reminding Chu Yang. Chu Yang nodded in acknowledgment, accepting her goodwill.
The girl's icy expression softened.
As the wails outside gradually subsided,
the previously eerie atmosphere eased considerably, and the girls began chatting with Chu Yang.
"Hey kid, what's your name?"
"My name is Chu Yang. Could you please stop calling me 'kid'? You don't look much older than me!"
"Chu Yang? That's a strange name, really hard to pronounce. My name is Boa Hancock. You can call me Big Sister Hancock, kid!"
Hancock emphasized "kid" again, seemingly deliberately trying to annoy Chu Yang, but Chu Yang had no time to argue with her.
Hancock?! The Pirate Empress?
Looking at the young Empress still a slave in Mary Geoise, Chu Yang understood his current timeline: at least 13 years before the official start of the story. The exact year depended on when "hero" Fisher Tiger burned down the Holy Land.
With Mary Geoise's defenses, escaping from here would be harder than climbing to heaven.
Thinking of this, Chu Yang's face darkened.
This feeling of being at the mercy of others, entrusting his life to them, was unbearable.
Just as Chu Yang was trying to extract more information from Hancock, he suddenly heard footsteps approaching.
It was the jailers!
They were going to brand him with the "Sky-Soaring Dragon's Hoof."
Hancock's expression changed, and she urgently reminded him again, "Chu Yang, you must hold on."
Chu Yang forced a smile on his pale face.
With a "bang," the cell door was kicked open, and a tall, muscular man emerged from the darkness.
The man was dressed entirely in black, his head covered by a black cloth, resembling an executioner from ancient Western times.
Chu Yang took a deep breath, trying his best not to show any fear.
Without a word, the jailer lifted Chu Yang up like a chicken, coldly sizing him up, then led him out of the cell.
Hancock stared intently at their departing figures; she didn't want anything to happen to this young man who had just arrived.
Over the years, many slaves had been tortured to death because of the jailers' "whims."
Most of them were ordinary humans like Chu Yang.
Because other races are more precious to the Celestial Dragons, the loss of even one would severely punish the jailers.
In terror, Chu Yang was hoisted up by a group of jailers, next to a furnace smoldering with sparks, containing a red-hot branding iron.
A jailer, his face contorted with rage, approached him, branding him with the iron.
Chu Yang stared intently at the jailer, like a endangered wild animal, all fear replaced by anger and hatred.
"I've seen many eyes like yours, and they never fared well!" the jailer sneered, raising the branding iron and pressing the scorching hot iron hard against Chu Yang's chest.
The heat was momentary, but the ensuing excruciating pain was indescribable.
With each press, the iron caved in on Chu Yang's chest, causing him to stiffen and tremble. A surge of
willpower, from who knows where, prevented Chu Yang from screaming. He kept staring at the jailer, his eyes gradually turning bloodshot.
That hysterical madness instilled fear in the jailer!
He loosened his grip on the branding iron and instinctively took a few steps back.
When he came to his senses, he realized that Chu Yang had already fainted.
"Heh, I thought he was so tough, but he fainted so easily!"
As the jailer mocked, Chu Yang's soul arrived at a mysterious palace.
The palace was magnificent and imposing, but upon closer inspection, many parts were damaged and weathered, exuding a heavy sense of history.
Deep within the palace stood many thrones, densely packed as far as the eye could see.
Most of the thrones were incomplete.
Only the twelve thrones closest to Chu Yang were intact.
The two thrones at the very center shimmered with a terrifying red light, like spreading blood.
A figure sat on one of these thrones. That person seemed to have seen Chu Yang as well and quickly rose.
In a hazy vision, both of them clearly saw each other's faces, and they both froze, then paled in shock!
The two looked exactly alike!
The moment their eyes met, a special feeling filled their bodies, an unparalleled sense of familiarity, making them realize that they were the same person, both Chu Yang!
Immediately afterward, a memory that didn't belong to either of them surfaced in their minds.
Clearly, this extra memory belonged to the other.
"I never imagined there was another me who traveled to another world..."
"Our souls seemed to have encountered some accident during the journey, splitting into many parts..."
"And this palace seems to be our shared soul space."
After sharing their memories, the two Chu Yangs began to make simple deductions about the strange events that had happened to them.
The Chu Yang from the One Piece world looked at the other Chu Yang in amazement and exclaimed, "I never thought you'd actually go to the Naruto world..."
The Chu Yang from the Naruto world smiled bitterly, "The timing of the journey was terrible; I arrived many years too early, temporarily losing the advantage of knowing the plot."
The Chu Yang from the One Piece world also sighed, saying, "Me too, I arrived 13 years too early, and now I'm trapped in Mary Geoise as a slave."
"Then you're much worse off than me; at least I didn't end up as a slave," the Naruto Chu Yang teased, "but I arrived more than 13 years too early."
The One Piece Chu Yang asked curiously, "How many years too early did you arrive?"
Although they had shared memories, completely sorting them out was clearly not something that could be done in a short time.
Hokage Chu Yang instantly became melancholy, saying with a hint of tears, "The exact time is unclear, but at this time, the ninja villages of various countries haven't been established yet..."
Pirate Chu Yang gasped in shock, exclaiming, "Good heavens, it's actually the Warring States period!"
Hokage Chu Yang said seriously, "In the world of Naruto, I also have a name: Senju Yang."
