"Lucas" she called, her voice low and soft as she placed the phone on her ear. Ruby was busy giggling and smiling, enjoying the way April was speaking with her husband.
"Hi darling!" Lucas replied at the other side of the phone as he switched off the shower. He stretched his hand to the hanger and picked his towel to wrap it around his waist.
"I'm sorry I missed your call" . She quickly apologized but before she could say anything else she heard a beep sound on the phone and glanced to check what it was. It was Lucas that switched to a video call.
Immediately the call connected, she saw Lucas with a bare chest with his hair wet and water dripping from his body. April blushed and swallowed hard, while Ruby chuckled softly as she quickly excused herself from beside April and whispered "Enjoy your couple time" she smiled and went towards April's workshop as she's currently enjoying the view.
"Darling! I've been worried. Are you okay?" Lucas asked softly with his brows raised.
