Immediately she got down the stairs, Judith mockingly laughed from behind as she's seated in the sitting room, as if waiting for the right moment for April to come outside.
"Today really is a good morning, don't you think?" Judith smiled to herself.
April heard what she said and stopped in steps while Judith stood up and walked closer
"I'm sure you got the surprise package I left for you this morning? Shocking, isn't it?" Judith laughed mockingly again
April's eyes flooded with unshed tears she had been holding in for a while, hearing Judith's words almost made the tears flow but she held it in, keeping quiet. She didn't wait anymore and turned to leave but Judith made another statement that cut through her throat like a knife
"You'd do well to remember the car you're driving was bought by my son, and not you. So think twice before you enter that car. It's a pleasant reminder of who it belongs to" Judith scoffed before strolling into the kitchen.
